| 18 DAYS LATE.... SHOWING "NO" ON TESTS |
Question: I am now 18 days LATE for my period. I wouldn't think that skipping your period, for the heck of it, is normal. Especially since i have never skipped since i have received my period. I took three test in general. Two were cheap, From dollor store and the third one was a First Response. All NEGATIVE! What is going on? Am i pregnant or what? And if i am Pregnant, am i going to have a healthy pregnancy? I am extremely sad, nervous, and depressed As the days go on, this is all i can think about. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ?

| Answer: Hi there there could be a million reasons why you period is late. You could possibly be pregnant but I think a hpt probably would have shown a + by now. In general First Response are the most accurate tests as apparantly they detect hcg of 15-25 which is very early pregnancy levels. Buy one more test and do it with first morning urine, if still negative make a appointment to see your doctor as occasionally there can be a another reason. | Answer: I'm still only 13 days late, but I know for a fact that nothing ever shows up in my urine. Do you have any other signs or symptoms? And for having your period THIS late, there aren't THAT many reasons why your period is late, Have you gained or lost much weight lately? You have to think logically about this because of the fact that you seem to be freaking out about it will just make it worse. = |
| Answer: To Ren, I have to say, that the situation that i ami n rightnow, is in the back of my head, but it is really nothing tha ti am stressing about. I would just like to know what is going on. I do have other symtoms. Eating frequently, using the restroom, cramping( pulling senation), back hurts, leg cramps( one time) heart burn( in stomah as well). I do not know what could be the cause of my missed period, if i am not preg. I am going to wait a while, and i fi do not get my period.. then does that mean that i am pregnant? Should i bother even taking the second test that came with the package that i bought or just go to the dr? I am very confused. = |
| Answer: Hi I'm in the same boat as you as of today I'm 18 days late as well. I took three cheap test, one EPT and they all read negative. I'm hoping that I'm pregnant as well. I have been going to different sites and reading up on this and, from two of the sites they reccommend getting a (BETA) blood test but, that isn't always accurate either. = |
| Answer: To patrica, oh yes, i know what you are feeling. There are so many stories and myths about pregnancy tests over all. All i hope for, is if my child is healthy if i am infact pregnant. There really is not reason for me to miss my period. I am not in a record of skipping my period, so wouldnt you think that the reason by it is because of pregnnacy? I hope that everything is arligh with everyone in the same situation as myself. Is this going to be your frist child? = |
| Answer: Reply to owndertopost. This would be my second child and, I will be so excited if I am indeed pregnant. I went to the store today and purchase some otc prenatal vitamins until I'm able to see my OBGYN. I will keep you posted regarding my status. = |
| Answer: Hey ladies, I was reading another thread here there was this Lady Mandy who didn't get her period for like 20 weeks. The blood and urine tests all came back negative. And yet she was pregnant. I think that gives me hope to not worry about doctors that won't trust our instincts. If you ladies want babies, I wish the best for you. WHATT, just to let you know I wasn't trying to be rude when I asked of other symptoms. I was just wondering further since I myself am basically in the same situation. What I meant about the freaking out is that if you stress over it, Maybe even just a bit, your period(body) can be reacting to that. It was just a observers point of view forgive me. = |
| Answer: To Ren, i am SO sorry that you miss understood my replied post to you. I didn't take your post to me, as anything of rude, just curiosity( Which i find nice to know, that someone is wanting to share there expiernces with me as i share mine with them). I am sorry if you miss understood me. And yes, i know exactly how you feel about being in the same boat as myself and allot of other laddies out there. Sorry about that. But never the less, my symptoms just are acting up big time. Today i went shopping for clothes( which i have not done in a long time) and i was usually around a 7 size. Sometimes i needed to buy pants that were a 9. But not often. Never reached a size 11. I seen today at the store and i am now a size 13!!!!!!!!!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS.( I do not know if it since i have not recieved my period in 19-20 days now, that i am a bit bloated or if it is just that i am preg but that amazed me) I looked in the mirror, and a Ladie at the store asked me if i wanted her to get me a size and she believed i was around a size 7. That is amazing. I knew that i ate a lil bit more then usually but to move up three sizes... WHOA. Now, i am watching very closely what i eat. When i feel the need to eat, i will snack on veggies or fruits or something less fatting. Seeing the size 13, brought my out look towards myself down! = |
| Answer: My wife was 18 days late also before we got a positive test. It just really depends on how your body is doing at producing the HCG. If it's too early, NO pregnancy test will show a positive. However, as soon as their is enough HCG, some tests (not all...only the real sensitive ones) wil ldetect small amounts of HCG. It could also be the brand of tests you're using...try ones that are sensitive to 20-25 parts of HCG, instead of some tests that won't detect until 100 or so. Good luck, keep your chin up, and good luck. Just remember, having a missed period is a GOOD sign (not definite) that something is going on, especially if you are usually consistent in your periods. Birth control may factor into this, but expect sometime REALLy soon to get a positive result if you are indeed pregnant. Hope this helps!

| Answer: Update. Yesterday I started to spot, and now it's a bit heavier but not even close to a period. It's all way watery, which is not normal for me. I am having an ultrasound today to make sure, since I'm so late that there are no cysts, today I've been having sharp pains in my lower side abdomen, I'm hoping that it's not an ectopic pregnancy. The doctors say there is a chance that I'm a habitual aborter. As if I can take another low blow. = |
| Answer: Well ladies I went to see my doctor today. She did the normal routine of when my last menstural was (August 28, 2005) have I been having unprotected sex **dah why else would I be hear ? if I'm pregnant or not** then she asked the last time I took my birth control pill ***first of all how about asking me if I have ever used birth control and my answer would have been no** I simply replied that I never have and never will use any sorts of birth control. So of course after these ? are answered I was asked to go give a urine sample. It came back negative but, I really wasn't in shock because I already had a gut feeling that's what was going to happen. I'm writing this to all the ladies to let them know that I don't care what her little urine hcg test say's I know that with 100% that I'm pregnant. I began my menstural cycle at the age of 13 and have never been late or missed my period with the exception of when I was pregnant with my daughter. Also I would like to add that she refused to give me a blood test I found this to be quite strange. In the back of my mind I'm ? if I should come to terms with the fact that I may not be pregnant but, the only way that I see me changing my mind about this is if I get a period next month. If the month of November comes and goes and I'm without a menstural my next step is going to have an ultrasound performed.

| Answer: i am 17 days late and also have preg. symptoms - horrid nausea, dizziness, swollen breasts esp around my areola. i took a test when i was 10days late,& 13days late and both were neg. i didnt think anything of it until i read the stories here. Now i'm thinking i really should get a higher end hpt! i'm ususally irregular but not THIS late maybe a week late. and i never had pms so i don't think the symptoms could be pms. but i was taking vitex... so i was thinking that perhaps it had an adverse effect on me and i got pms... :-) i will def. take another test ...and if still neg. then it's off to the doctor. = |
| Answer: Hi guys just wanted to let you know that I am now 17 days late and have had two neg. hpt. I am horribly sore allover, top to bottom to sum up. Back is killing me along with nausua(sorry I can't spell-haha), I have shooting pains in legs also last week my gums were throbbing went to dentist and she said my gums and teeth are perfect and should not be hurting me for any reason that she could see. So if I don't get af by friday I am making an appt. for tuesday for the gyno to see what is up. = |
| Answer: This is great, I am a week late with nausea, tingling boobs, fatigue, freq urination, bloating - and I have failed 3 home tests. With my first (son, 15 mths), an HPT was negative on the date I was due but postive 5 days late so I was really bummed to be negative again this time. | Answer: Hi There. I'm in the same boat. I'm only 13 days late, and all the tests I've taken have been negative. My cycle is regular..on and off. It's typical for me to be late, but usually only by a couple of days. I haven't been this late in years. I have had it happen one time about 3 years ago where my period stopped for 3 months and then started up again for no reason. I'm not sure if I should go to the Dr. because I don't want to spend any more money on a test that's going to be negative again. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 months now, so when I became late, we got excited. Now, after so many negative HPT, we're both confused and worried that something else might be wrong. My breasts are a little tender, and I have occasional cramps if I'm exercising or moving around alot, but other than that, I don't have any other REAL symptoms besides being late. I have had a cold for about 3 weeks now too, so that may be a reason I'm late too. I don't know. I've read so many things on the web, but most contradict themselves, so I don't know what to do anymore. I just read on one of the threads on this site of a girl who was 7.5 weeks late, all her tests came back negative, and finally after a bunch of run arounds by her health care providers, she had an ultra-sound and was in fact 15.5 weeks pregnant! Well the month of October came and went with me not having a period. I had another appointment with my Gyn on Nov 1. She gave me yet another urine pregnancy test and once again it came back negative. She insisted that it was virtually impossible for me to be pregnant because it wasn't registering in my hcg levels. Well I know my cycle and like I had stated before it's just not normal for me to miss a period. I told her that I wanted a blood test performed because it's more accurate that the urine test. Let me just say she said that I was going to be wasting my money because my insurance didn't cover the blood test and I would have to pay out of pocket. The cost of the test was 59.00 well ladies I'm glad to report that the 59.00 was well worth it because today I received a call that in fact I'm pregnant 9 weeks and 4 days. My doctor apologized and ordered for me to have an ultrasound performed tomorrow because she was in shock that the test had came back positive after all of my home test and the in office urine test she gave me. She had the lab re-test my blood specimen again before she called me because the results had came back on Wednesday but, she didn't want to call me and give me false hope. So with this all being said Ladies and I stress this to all the Ladies only you know your body and if after numerous of home test you still get a negative result but, you have doubts you keep on persisting because had I have listened to my docotor, I would have been going out this weekend to have drinks with my girlfriends. My due date is for June 4, 2006. = |
| Answer: BIG CONGRATS PATRICIA!!! That give us all hopes. Today will be 16 days late with negative u-test, and as you, since my first period at 13 years old, never missed a period. A few days delay is normal on my, but not this much! I guess only time will say where am I. If nothing comes this month, I will ask for the blood test. | Answer: I stopped taking depo in may this year hoping to get pregnant within the next year or so. The hormones were technically out of my body by august 6th. September I got my period on the 7th it was my typical 5 days long, but I haven't had a period since then. I have been feeling really funny, bloated, tender and aching breasts, some wierd feelings way low in my tummy, nausea in the morning as well as horrible heartburn untill I eat something, not really fatigued, but I've woken up with swollen ankles and fingers a couple of times...but all the pregnancy tests have come back negative...I'm wondering if it's worth it to go to the doctors and get a blood tests or if it's just because of the hormones in the depo that I'm missing my periods...Anyone have any experience with this??? = |

I felt bad in the begining, just feeling that there could be a chanch of you being a momy, but later found out you are not, hurt me a little, but i have many years to try and have a baby( and at this point in life, i am trying to live my life, not plan for the future... i have many years to plan... and its not up to me its up to Man above). | Answer: I am 21 days late! Three weeks. I have never been late like this, my periods are fairly reliable and normal. I have no idea what is going on. I have had three negative tests, I think the last time I tested was a week ago but not with first morning urine. I will do it again this week I think. I am exhausted, soooo tired. I am eating like a maniac and I am drinking milk in obscene amounts. I have light cramps most of the time but haven't seen a drop of blood. I get a sore lower back too. I get headaches and dizzy when I stand up. I am also super sexualized, like I just want to jump my boyfriend all the time and my orgasms are intense! (TMI? Sorry!) I also have nausea a lot of the time and I sleep so much. I also feel really absent minded. I'm not sure if these are pregnancy symptoms or not? What else could be going on? I have been acting like I always do, I am not stressed and I haven't lost or gained any weight...although I am starting to in my boobs and belly but that is after I missed my period. Someone please help explain? I'm finding doctors useless. = |

| Answer: Mel , congrats to you. I think I may have conceived 5 weeks ago, however, when I told my doctor I hadn't had a positive hpt, he told me there was no way I could possibly be pregnant and he wouldn't do a blood test as there is no such thing!!! he said they only do an HCG count if someone is bleeding. I have 2 friends who never had a positive hpt and I have read so many people on here having the same problem. I didn't think it would be such a big deal. He then said he would do it only beacuse I got so upset, but I told him not to bother because if it was negative then it make me look stupid. I am having so many symptoms but as I have PCOS my doctor doesn't think its possible. He would only do a hormone profile test to see if there is any need for me to go on clomid. It is so encouraging to hear your story Mel as I know there is hope still. = |
| Answer: Natasha-I don't think your doctor knows what he is talking about. You can do an HCG blood test at anytime to get the count. And you should go ahead and get it done even though you are scared that it will make you look stupid. Better safe than sorry! = |

| Answer: Ladies, I had a crazy summer. I had a period on July 1 and then did not have another one until August 17. I tood numerous hpt and they all had come back negative. I went to the dr and took a blood test and it came back negative. I had never been late, so I don't know what happened. I feel as though I may have had a blighted ovum or something. Well since Aug 17 I have not had another period. On Oct 5 I decided to take a hpt for the heck of it, and low and behold a second line appeared. It was very faint, but a line nonetheless. I then bought THIRTEEN tests including digital and they ALL came back positive. I don't know what happened to cause my cycle to go beserk, but I am now officially pregnant with a due date of June 10. I ovulated extremely late. So keep the faith is what I say... I am 37 years old and I accepted that I was not going to conceive, but obviously there was another plan when the time was right! = |

| Answer: Hi, I don't know if anyone is still posting in this thread, but Hi I'm Sarah. Me and my husband lost our baby in october I was only 5wks, but still hurt.
We decieded as soon as I start my cycles we were going to try again, my doctor said it was perfectly safe. So when I finally got my first period back..was the begining of Decemeber...then at the end of December 29th I got my period again VERY regular...well Its not here its been 5 dcays and all the stupid tests are coming out negative even though I have all the symtoms what is the deal!? = |
| Answer: OOfresh - there have been many cases on this site where women have been pregnant and not tested positive until 2 to 6mths. One lady was negative all the way through despite her constant visits to the doctor, was admitted to hospital for cramps and delivered a healthy baby girl that the dr's told her she couldn't be expecting. Hang in there and try not to stress too much. Myself, I'm currently 4 weeks late, due for 2nd AF and have had a mix of positive and negative results including 3 negative blood tests. Going for US on Saturday because I'm fed up of waiting and I'm praying they find a baby in there!! Then I'll be a very happy vegemite. Take care Marian = |
| Answer: Hi there guys I would love to know what happens Marian. I too am now 27 days late my cycle is 34 days and I had a neg hpt at 6 days late and a neg blood test at 11 days late... I feel like I am pregnant with all the symtons, even the metallic taste for about 8 days, it subsided last week... I am booked in for another blood test on monday which could allow for a + from the next cycle too anyway I so don't want the disappointment of another 've HPT so have put it off and will maybe do this friday if curiosity gets the better of me... my dr said a blood test would be very accurate but hey base on what I have read here it doesn't seem conclusive at all.... so heres hoping.... and waiting..... and wishing you lots of lovely baby dust... c x = |

| Answer: Hi Ladies, I will post as soon as I get home from my US tomorrow. I am really hoping that they find a baby in there!! The mixed signals of positives and negatives is really frustrating. One of the other girls on a thread I've been on kept getting negative tests, then a negative US and remarkably has just discovred that she is 3 mths pregnant - I hope I'm like her!! Iam due for 2nd AF today, but it's a no show so far. I'm NEVER this late!! ONLY ever been this late once in my life - I was pregnant, and sadly lost it a week later, but that time the baby showed up on all tests one week late. = |

Well, I'm officially 2 AF's Late. (57 days since LMP - 29 days late from 1st AF due date) Had the US this morning and they say No obvious sign of intrauterine or extrauterine pregnancy, but come back for 2nd scan in 2wks if HCG rises. My uterus is retroverted (back to front) and they had trouble seeing both sides. Also, they found a 7mm fibroid growth in my uterus and a 2cm cyst on my (L) ovary. My back up plan was to see a fertility specialist on Thursday 9th February so I will take the results to him and see what he has to say. NERVOUS NELLIE - I too have only ever skipped a period when I was pregnant and generally speaking - regular as clockwork. Try no to let it eat you up!! We all here feel the same way, but it's not healthy for any of us to let it consume us!! Take heart from your new friends all riding the same limbo line. ARIANA, a pink discharge can sometimes be a sign of pregnancy or a sign of miscarriage. I hope all is well with you. Take care all and I will post again after I see the specialist. Love Marian = |

My guess is that I am NOT pregnant but that I have some type of cyst that is altering my cycle. This morning I have pink discharge when I wipe, as with both my prior pregnancies- but the difference this time is that I have no positive pregnancy tests...all negative and I never had that before. My guess is that I am NOT pregnant but that I have some type of cyst that is altering my cycle. This morning I have pink discharge when I wipe, as with both my prior pregnancies- but the difference this time is that I have no positive pregnancy tests...all negative and I never had that before. Unless I tested too early I am really in touch with what my body does). But most likely I am not pregnant this time, and after Tuesday's appointment I will know more about what is actually going on. | Answer: Okay so now I'm currenty 10 days late of my period. I have a doctors appointment on Monday, for a blood test, so then I will have to wait another 1 1/2 to get my tests back!! Ahh, this is annoying. I now have no sign of my AF coming, and I've been feeling extremely dizzy, my mouth always fills with alot of saliva, and I've been way tired... what's the deal!? This is so irritated. I have been having little twinges in my stomach, but nothing like cramping, I hope I don't have a cyst...I think I would of known because after my miscarriage in october, I had an exam, and had a ultrasound and they never said anything about cysts. I took another test today and stuff tested negative. I took a digital test the other day and it came up not pregnant, so i removed the test stick and there was one bold blue line, and another light blue line so i got excited, then found out "If the test stick shows to blue lines to disreguard" I guess those tests dont test of 2 lines..which is completely weird.. i wonder if they just say that so they cant get sued if the test doesnt pick it up digitaly? | Answer: The digital test sticks pick up LH and that is what the other faint line is and every woman has some level of that at all times regardless of pregnancy so that is why there are two lines. Just go by what the reading says. I read about it on peeonastick.com pretty interesting because that happened to me once too. Good Luck. = |

| Answer: With my first child I was only 6 days off the pill and the test line came out darker than the control! With my second child, I had been using a condom, but I missed a period and then had symptoms I only had when pg the first time... but I tested every week for 4 weeks after the week I waited for my missing period. All negative. The blood test was neg too. Finally on the fifth week I tested, 6 weeks since my missed period I got a line. It didn't show up at first, but 10 minutes later there was a faint pink line, I had to turn the test *just so* and hold it in the light to see it. Now I have a 10 month old baby boy.
Now, I have had a cycle since he was 6 months old and thoguht not regular, it's been fairly close. Now I am on CD 46(of a 28-29 day cycle) without a period. Hmmm. The only times in my life I have missed are pregnancy adn nursing... 11 months for the first child and 6 for the second. Once they come back they don't just go away again. I've had some of my symptoms.. moodiness, fatigue, tenderness, fast weight loss (when I get pg I lose about 15 lbs right away) visions changes. I am getting Mike to bring me a test tonight but since I am only 18 days past I don't know if they will be accurate. I guess I have to wait and test every week again. truthfully, I want mine to be negative, we don't want to be pregnant, but if I am I want to know as soon as I can so that I can deal with my feelings. = |
| Answer: Hey Ladies, I went to the Doctor monday(Feb 6)..they did a blood test on me ....3 hrs later I got my period at work! My period was almost 2 weeks late!! The mind can definately play tricks on ya, good luck girls. = |
| Answer: I have been reading some of these posts and also worried. I have not gotten my period for 2 months - since December - and I have taken a test (EPT) which came out negative. The past couple of weeks I have been extremely exhausted, and having a hard time getting up to get ready in the morning and I just want to sleep all the time. I don't have any common symptoms such as nausea so I'm a bit confused. I don't have insurance yet since I'm a new employee, but the Dr. I go to would cost me $200+ just for an exam. Should I wait a little longer and take another test? Or am I waiting too long? Need advice quick! = |
| Answer: Hi all.....I will start off that I am about 42 days late for my period....I took a hpt today and it came back negative. I am having some symtoms of pregnancy (besides missed period) including cramping(mostly in sides and lower back), extra tiredness, yellowish discharge. I am stressed out I am not sure if that can be my problem or not. I lost my mom in Sept. and my gram in Jan. Money has been tight that is why I have only done one hpt. I have another I will do in a week if I still have no period. If its negative also then I guess its off to the doctor for me. This negative test really bummed me out though but reading from this site gave me some hope.....Let me know your thoughts please..... = |

I am feeling extremely tired, but took the EPT test and came out negative. I too am worried and hope I am not having any critical health problems. | Answer: Nikki and Help!- Stress can lead to your symptoms of being tired, depressed, and missed periods especially. You might be pregnant, but if you go longer than 2 months without your period, you should go to the doctor. Once you are two months along a blood test should be positive. Nikki- so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom and grandmother and good luck with everything. And here is my story- I am a mother of 1, a beautiful daughter who is 4 years old. My husband had a vasectomy 2 years ago... we thought it was the right decision... WRONG! I want more than anything to have another child now and he does too. We are looking into getting it reversed. As of today I am 16 days late... and I have the same symptoms as the rest of you. At 10 days late I took the EPT test... Negative ( which I expected... but I was hoping by some chance I might be). I have read stories about other women getting pregnant 2-10 years after their husbands had a vasectomy. Well... to wrap this up, I am going to wait another week and hope that I am pregnant and if I don’t get my period by then I will call the doctor. | Answer: this is to "Hoping....", one of my best friends got pregnant after her husband had his vasectomy 4 1/2 years prior. They were shocked to say the least (had a boy and a girl and thought they were done). After some research, she found that sometimes vasectomys reverse at 4-5 years. Which sounds like maybe that's where you're at. Best of luck to you! = |

| Answer: Hi ladies. I’m back from the Dr’s and the news like you is not what I hoped!! No baby. I didn’t tell him about the cyst or the other US because I wanted to see what he could find. He was really excellent and informative. He says the cyst is luteal and that it appears that a pregnancy began but did not progress which he believes is why I haven’t had a period. He says everything looks very good and very normal and not to worry. He ran a blood test with several checks – BHCG, LSH, LH, Progesterone and a bunch of others. He is confident that my period should return next time it is due which is next week. He couldn’t see any fibroids. He also organised for tests to be run on hubby to check is little men. We should get the results back in a few weeks. The news is not what I wanted, but hopefully I will get back on track soon and can try again. Wishing you all better luck and baby dust - Marian

By last period was on Jan 5, so I'm a little mystified because I don't have a lot of symptoms, but my mom didn't either. So who knows, maybe I'm just really late. Time will tell, i guess. | Answer: Just for some of you who are really late. I was seven weeks pregnant before I got a positive test. at 4wks3days I took a blood test which even came back neg but then took a beta blood test at 7 and there it was....oh and hpt's were still negative I don't think I ever got a positive urine test with my son so ask for the test where they can measure your levels. Iam now trying for my second after a year and a half so wish me luck it was so easy with my son and now I'm starting to get anxious. so good luck to you all and hope ya'll have +'s soon

| Answer: I have a question...do i count days since my missed period from the date of my last normal period? or the date of the last period? i'm pretty sure the last one was implantation bleeding, but if that's the case then my last normal period was february 15th! 4 neg. hpt so far and one negative urine test at the doctor's office. so i'm either 4 weeks or 7 weeks along...i have all the symptoms but am worried that it's a cyst or something else. i was on yasmin when i started having nausea, extra gas, aversion to certain smells, etc. i lose my lunch every few days too, and have a hard time keeping food down the other times...sore breasts, etc...but no spotting. my next period "should" come next wednesday....any advice? i would love to know if i am or not because obviously we weren't prepared for this :) so i haven't been taking prenatals or anything. = |
| Answer: kristen they usually count from your last normal period like by the time you'd have your first missed period you would only be 4 weeks. Implantation bleeding shouldn't be like a period at all it shouldn't be heavy and last for more than two days. = |
| Answer: so i DON'T count the implantation bleeding as a period...that would mean my last period was feb. 8th...that would make me 7 weeks along??? i'm confused. i took another hospital urine preg test today and the doctor (a male non ob/gyn) told me that he didn't think i was pregnant because it would have shown on the urine test, and that probably something else is wrong...but from what i've heard, many women don't find out until they are 2 or 3 months along. i hate feeling like the hypochondriac crazy non-pregnant women whenever i go in to take a test. hopefully a blood test will be more effective...any advice on which kind? so far the doc ordered a qualitative test and gave me the lab papers for it but said i'd be better off waiting until next week to see if i get my period before i get blood taken. he was very very doubtful but all the women i've talked to said that it was probable...it sucks not to be able to be happy about a pregnancy when i'm throwing up and feeling all these symptoms but the tests are all negative! = |
| Answer: Kristen, I didn't get a positive test with my son until I was seven weeks pregnant and thats counting even one blood test at 5 weeks the same thing happened to my sister except she was 13 weeks.....if you are pregnant and you say you should be about seven weeks ask for an ulstra sound you should be able to see a heartbeat or cyst or something that is stopping your period.....was the "implantation bleeding" heavy and how long did it last? I hope everything turns out how you want it to.

| Answer: thanks for your answer, chelley...the implantation bleeding was not heavy at all...in fact it was kind of like how my period looks when it's tapering off...pinkish-brown instead of bright red, and really light...about 3 days long. my husband wants to wait until next thursday to see if my period comes, but many women say they got their period during pregnancy. only time will tell! | Answer: I'm a bit nervous, I have always had irregular peroids, one month it would be 35 days in between or sometimes even 40 days, but i have never been this late before, I have taken about 4 hpt but they keep coming back negative. I feel a little queezy when i eat particular foods and my stomach is a bit firm (which i noticed my pants are a bit tight)and I've been extremely moody but thats all the signs i got. I haven't been to the doctors yet and I'm a little scared. Its been about 48 days from my last period. I'm going to see my doctor this week. | Answer: i'm 17 days late ive had all the sings of being preg and last night i got what i thought was my period but now i'm not so sure its a hell of alot light than my usual period.... it started last night really lightly and this mornigh it got quite heavy and now its gone back to a light flow. i'm not really sure what it is because my periods are usually heavy for the first 2 days or so then it starts to get lighter its like i'm on my fourth day of my period. im going to take another hpt on wednesday too see whats going on. i'm kind on worried aswell because im getting cramps like i wud do when i get my period... maybe it is my period i'm not really sure..... | Answer: ok.......I'm 20 and now offically 13 days late.....i'm having some symptoms (headache, bloating, nauseua, sore boobs).....normally I cramp the day before AF and it goes away after day two. My cycles are 4-5 days and 28-30 days apart. I've never been this late. Only taken one test . Boyfriend doesn't think I am. He claims its just late PMS. I know how I feel and I have never felt like this before. I don't have insurance so a doc visit for bld test is out of the question right now. I'd have to be absolutely sure first to spend money I don't have right now. But after reading this and several other threads, I'm not sure it would be worthwhile until later down the road. I plan on testing again tomorrow or the next day if AF doesn't come. Please help! = |
| Answer: well i went to the doctor a few days ago and they told me that the couldn't do a pregnancy test which i thought was really stupid and i was really annoyed about that. and they told me to do a hpt and comein when i get a positive. my doctor has complete trust in the clear blue hpt's i then started spotting sunday night and then monday morning i got realy bad cramps and i startd bellding really big blood clots so i went back to the doctor monday afternoon and told them about my clots and stuff and the finally decided to send me off for a blood test and i just got the results bak and it said the by hcg levels were low and that i was in fact pregnant and a hpt couldn't of dectected it. and that the bleedingwas a miscarriage. = |
