Question: I just had my baby boy (8lbs. 13oz - 21.5 in.) on 2/22/08 via c-section. I had a boy, c-section as well, 10 years ago. Hubby & I want another baby so that the little one will have a sibling close to the same age as him. I'm assuming I'll more than likely have to deliver via c-section with any further pregnancies. I grow 'em big & I'm only 5'2 1/2" - Dr. said that I may just be too small to deliver vaginally. Anyone have experience or advice with this? Thanks. ?

Answer: as long as it's no more than 3 c-sections you'll be ok after 3 it's bad cause all the scar tissue you'll be fine =
Answer: Did the doctor even let you try vaginally with your new baby? Size has NOTHING to do with whether or not you can deliver a baby vaginally. I am barely over 5ft & delivered a 9lb 3oz baby boy 6/6/07 completely naturally - no drugs or intervention at all. I know some doctors are cautious about VBAC but it can be done. Every time you have a c-section it weakens your uterine muscles, & as it is a major operation puts you & baby at unnecessary risks. Talk to your doctor about the possibility of trying for a vaginal birth, especially as you want another one so soon. =
