2 C-Sections in 1 year?

I just had my baby boy (8lbs. 13oz - 21.5 in.) on 2/22/08 via c-section. I had a boy, c-section as well, 10 years ago. Hubby & I want another baby so that the little one will have a sibling close to the same age as him. I'm assuming I'll more than likely have to deliver via c-section with any further pregnancies. I grow 'em big & I'm only 5'2 1/2" - Dr. said that I may just be too small to deliver vaginally. Anyone have experience or advice with this? Thanks.

as long as it's no more than 3 c-sections you'll be ok after 3 it's bad cause all the scar tissue you'll be fine

Did the doctor even let you try vaginally with your new baby? Size has NOTHING to do with whether or not you can deliver a baby vaginally. I am barely over 5ft & delivered a 9lb 3oz baby boy 6/6/07 completely naturally - no drugs or intervention at all. I know some doctors are cautious about VBAC but it can be done. Every time you have a c-section it weakens your uterine muscles, & as it is a major operation puts you & baby at unnecessary risks. Talk to your doctor about the possibility of trying for a vaginal birth, especially as you want another one so soon.
