Hi there, I just went to get an u/s and found out there is 1 heartbeat but 2 sacs. the other one looks empty. Has this ever happened to you? if so, what was the outcome?? i'm due for another sonogram at 7 weeks! Please advise, thanks, ↓
Hi. We are in a similar boat. We are pregnant with twins (due 5/8/09), and all looked to be going well. Last week (6weeks 6 days) we went for an u/s and one baby had a very strong heartbeat and is growing. The other baby didn't grow much and the heartbeat was only 65. The Dr. said it doesn't look good for that second little guy. We go back tomorrow. This has been the LONGEST week of my life. It was harder than waiting to take the preg. test....How long til your next sono...??? I will pray for you. ↑

I am 8 weeks pregnant. I went for an ultra sound at 6 weeks and there was 1 sac and no heartbeat. But I was told it was too early. Now I am 8 weeks and they see two sacs but only 1 heartbeat. They are calling it a vanishing twin. BUT they are sending me for a high def ultra sound next week to be sure. What happened at the DR? It is so stressful to wait and see...... ↑
