Yes, that is completly normal. I'm pregnant with my 2nd child and with both I didn't find out until I was nearly six weeks pregnant. I never got sick or had any other symptoms until about 6 1/2 to 7 weeks of pregnancy.

I just found out last week that I was pregnant...I've calculated that I'm either 6 or 7 weeks along ..I'll know definitely when I go to the doctor this Thursday..only symptoms I've had are: sore breast, constipation in the beginning before I knew I was pregnant, I'm peeing a little more but nothing out of the normal, and a little increase in appetite but that's about all...no morning sickness, no nausea... I guess that's a good thing them....Oh yeah I put on 5 pounds in like 2 weeks...I went for my annual physical 2 weeks ago and I weighed 107, I'm up to 112 now....

I heard back from the Nurse at the Dr's office and she said numbers look good. They don't necesarily have to double.....each person is different. That was such good news to me. I go in for my prenatal class tomorrow and they will run another Hcg test to make sure the numbers go up. It' so refreshing to hear all of your stories because the online information makes it sound so black and white.

Good morning, girls! It looks like all of us being around 5 weeks at this time makes a lot of us due in the Spring of 2006! What are some of the actual due dates? Mine is May 22nd. Does anyone share this month/day with me? This is my 4th pregnancy, and things are going okay as they could/should be. Everyone is different having some, all, or none of the symptoms. This time for me are the migraine h/a along with the vomiting. I think I had 4 in the last week! The usual s&s are my chest is tender, urinate frequently, tire easily, have the metallic taste in my mouth, and seem more bloated/bulging which is either due to this being #4 and/or twins! I just don't know since there are so many factors to consider. There are Grandfather twins on both sides, I had a positive line at 3 weeks (before my missed cylce), bloated right away, in my 30s, and a subsequent pregnancy. I do know that hormone levels can be higher sooner due to the extra estrogen of multiples or expecting a girl. It doesn't matter to me, though, since I have 1 girl & 2 boys. As long as it is healthy, and we are done after this anyway...regardless of the gender & number. Each experience is different but normal, and nothing to worry about unless there is questionable bleeding along with cramping. Good luck, and here's to happy & healthy babies:) May God bless us all!!!

Blessed already with...
Samantha-7 1/2 (2nd grade)
Alex-4 1/2 (preschool)
Adam-1 1/2 (at home with me!)
Baby #4-? (a.k.a. fourth & final or 4&no more)

(Married to husband & best friend, Noah, for 8 1/2 yrs.)

5 weeks, due May 25. 1st baby, symptoms are sore breasts (very), slight cramping and very hungry, but when I eat, I am full instantly. Feel like I am going to vomit any second, but nothing has come up yet! Very happy, we got lucky on our first month trying!

My first child was conceived our very first month too, but not on purpose because she is our honeymoon baby:) With each child, and with age, it took a little bit longer. My second was conceived 2 months later, my third & fourth was 3 months later. I really cannot complain, and wasn't, but I was just saying how long it did take me to get pregnant every time. I am 30 years old now, and will be 31 by the time my 4th one arrives. I do know that fertility starts decreasing a lot by age 27, drops by nearly 50% at age 30, and I think at age 35 it is 70%. Just something to think about. More women are marrying later, and starting a family thereafter. That may be okay for others, though, since they may want a smaller family anyway. It's still a good thing to be a "fertile-myrtle" if possible!

I just found out today that I am about 5 weeks pregnant. That would make my due date around May 25th or so. I will have to call the doctor tomorrow to make an appointment. I have been in disbelief that I really am pregnant b/c I have had NO syptoms - at least not the usual ones. I have some cramping, bloating, a little heartburn, and I just noticed last night how much I peed. I have also been really thirsty. Anyone else have that? This will be our first and we are very excited.

This is my first pregnancy and I have gone tot he doctor and the urine test came out positive and so did the other 4 test I took at home. I started clomid and it worked. Know I should trust all those test right. My peroid is light over a week and I was on clomid which you have 28 day cycle. I'm just nervous that is all. Need some reassurance I'm not crazy i know I am but I'm still scared. OK bye for now

I am 5 weeks 2 days and the only symptoms I have are slightly tender boobs, and every day at around 1:00 in the afternoon I get really sleepy. Oh yeah and massive blue lines on my boobs. I've had two miscarriages one before and one after my son who just turned a year on Sept.27/05, so I'm really nervous about this pregnancy.

I keep reading about the mild pressure/period cramp like feeling in the lower stomach during early pregnancy. I am 5 weeks pregnant and am also experiencing it. I talked to my Dr. today and she said that it is very normal. It is the large amounts of bood in the uteran lining, and the uterus beginning to grow.

Name: Yvonne | Date: Oct 3rd, 2005 9:17 AM
Is the metallic taste almost taste like blood?
I will let you all know by the 15th, then I just might be 5 weeks pregnant.
it would be 3 weeks and 2 days now, just waiting to take a test.

I have a stuffy nose, fuller breasts, slight cramps, bleeding when I brush teeth,a nd I can smell stronger. I also am tired and pee alot.
But this could all be nothing....

So I wish you all a happy and healthy pregnancy and will come back if I am pregnant.

Just over 5 1/2 weeks and sooo tired! Bbs are sore but not a problem til I remove my bra...nausia is only a slight feeling for me at the moment and only really brought on by the smell of frying or tobacco - no pub lunches for me! Otherwise all's been cool until yesterday when the tears started and I even had a row with the hand drier in the ladies loo today - it lost...Hehe, poor Hubby...has anyone got any ideas how long the hysteria lasts so I can reassure him (please say a day or two...no?!!) Congrats and good luck to you all xxx

I am about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first child. I am only 19 years old and haven't told my parents or my fiances parents that im pregnant or even engaged. I'm constantly tired and eat like a hippo!!! So embarrasing. lol. I have yet to get sick...thank God!! My breasts are bigger already and are so sore and tender. Any suggestions on how and when to tell my parents?

This is in answer to Robin. I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant too with my second child, feeling ok so far, boobs are a little sore but that's about it. I think you should try and tell your parents as soon as you can. I was only young when I was pregnant with my first (20). I remember being really worried about what people would say but was pleasantly surprised how supportive my family were, as I'm sure yours will be too. It sounds like your in a good solid relationship and as a mother myself all I can tell you is that you love your children unconditionally and whatever they do you still feel the same way. Bite the bullet, sit down and have a nice chat with your mum and dad and I'm sure they'll be fine. I think that if you keep it to yourself for much longer you'll start to feel stressed which is not good for you. Also the pregnancy symptoms will probably become more noticeable soon, so best to tell them before they figure it out for themselves. Good Luck xx

I'm five weeks and approx two days. I haven't been feeling many symptoms other than sore breasts and frequent visits to the restroom. Haven't felt any nausea yet, was wondering if that is quite normal?! I started taking Pre-Natal vitamins, this morning was my first. I assume my nausea might kick in, with the weeks to come. I have yet to schedule an appointment, However, I hope I get seen soon. Yesterday I was feeling very exhausted at work.. and fell asleep really early last night. My only concern is primarily the health of my child...and It doesn't seem to get off my mind. Very frustrating... I just pray for the best. This would be my first... I'm super excited, yet super worried... any advice?!
thx..
