I have never had sore boobs with any of my pregnancies, so far. I'm sure I will be getting more symptoms in the weeks to come. My husband thinks that I became pregnant because I have been answering questions on this forum for awhile now! But, of course he does know the real reason! Good Luck to you all!! =

By the way ALTOIDS are great for nausea, just let it sit on your tongue in between meals -LIFE saver for me, even helps with the achy feelings in my neck and shoulders =

Name: Lauren | Date: August 6, 2004, 15:30
Answer: The only symptom I had at first was a very sentitive sense of smell. To be honest it smelled like body odor. I never had morning sickness and was only nauseated when I took my prenatal vitamins in the morning. Once I switched that to nighttime I was fine. I have implants so I really never had soar breast. I am 51/2 months pregnant now and my nipples hurt soooo bad. I get very aggravated very easily and very upset. I still have to pee alot and that started early. At first I wasn't really hungary than I thought I would be. I just ate normal. But my appetite has not been much especially this far into pregnancy. The saying your eating for two. Don't listen to that. Eat only when you are hungary and enough to satisfy you. That is why people get fat when they are pregnant and after is soo hard to get the wieght off. Just eat when you are hungary. Not all pregnant women are the same. Some women get sick and others don't. I did have spotting in my 7th week. Before I found out I would get these sharp pains in my lower right side. If you have spotting worry but don't. Just call your doctor and make an appt. After that I have had a successful pregnancy by far. I pray it stays like that. Well good luck with everything.  =

Answer: Hey everyone. I am also 5 weeks and have some advice that was passed on to me, that I'd like to pass on to those who may not have known. I have sore breasts, pee all the time, very tired most of the time, can smell things when others can't, and have slight naseau or food aversions here and there.(Also occasional menstrual-like cramping) My mother said that when I get the naseau, to eat saltine crackers, even if I don't feel like it. It honestly helps big time. It calms your stomach down majorly. =

Answer: Hey ladies, This is a good thread to read.. we should call it "symptoms" seeing as so many women/girls come on here asking fir symptoms and how to know if your pregnant. Everyone said something that someone else had. Its alllllllways the boobs aint it? I am 5 weeks, and have lots of symptoms... have naesua...but no throwing up.. Im afraid thats next. Hey thanks for the advise with the crackers I heard that one before... but thought maybe it was just te individual it worked for. I will have to try that as normally I get neasea from the time I wake up till just after lunch. Peeing... at least twice during the night... so needless to say I am getting used to gettin up at night... :) Hope everyone has healthy babies and problem free pregnancies!  =

Answer: 5 wks and counting . I just try to keep up with a active 2 year old. That does not leave me much time for resting. everyone just try to stay calm and don't let every little thing get to you even though it may feel as if the world is taunting you ignore it and enjoy this moment. You will not get to enjoy many things of this nature so take lots of pictures . You might not like the camera right now but bear in mind that you will have something to show your little one later down the line. Remember not all of the pictures you take belong to you they belong to your child when they become adults. =

Answer: 1st timer. Go for my 1st dr visit in a few days. What should I expect or not expect? Also, I'm waking up in the middle of the night for a solid 2-3 hours. Any ideas to ease this? It could be due to the fact that my boobs are huge and extremely sore. Believe I'm 7 wks at this point. Slight waves of nausea but nothing major yet.  =

If you got pregnant than you would only be a bit over 2 weeks... You wouldnt get a positive urine test yet. Your hcg levels are probly too low. Name: Ryan | Date: September 29, 2004, 9:01
Answer: Hi, girls. I am 6 weeks and have the sore breasts, along with nighttime nausea which I don't wish on any of you, but a friend of mine who is currently 18 weeks never had sore breasts at all - or any symptom!! I've read that some people have symptoms and some don't for whatever reason - but it doesn't make them any less pregnant. Try to relax and enjoy it. I have had a miscarriage, then the birth of my son, then an Ectopic in June and now I'm 6 weeks. My Dr. said stress can do more harm than anything. Let's all TRY to relax and enjoy the fact that we're pregnant and we've made it this far. Woo-hoo!! =

Answer: I am 5 weeks 3 days. I have symptoms that fade in and out depending on the day. I miscarried before I had my daughter two years ago, so I'm also worried when my symptoms fade. I have been telling myself not to freak out unless it has been at least 24 hours with no symptoms. Hope this helps.  =

Answer: for stephanie- I don't think you have to worry if your pregnancy syptoms go away, that would be normal to say they will... if you get severe cramps or heavy bleeding then be concerned.. if not just enjoy being pregnant and TRUST in GOD that you will have a healthy prgnancy... remember he doesn't give you anything you can't handle.. and everything he does he was you to have joy and peace and success. been there done.. no confirmation being PG but many signs and symptoms... period is due.. I am praying I don't get it... even if I do.. I could still be PG.. My prayers are with you... wow lots of women will be having may/june babies.... kewl... =

Answer: Well ladies, I just posted a question earlier today worrying since my symptoms had faded and... I had a miscarriage just hours ago! I'm very sad and disappointed, but to those of you out there that are also having fewer symptoms, my doctor reassured me that the symptoms can come and go in many normal pregnancies! Sooooo...I don't think that you have anything to worry about if your symptoms have reduced. Besides, in my case, I knew within 24 hours of losing the symptoms...so just know that your body will let you know if something isn't right. I had tried to prepare myself for the worst because I didn't want to be so disappointed if it did happen, but ultimately, even with trying to prepare for the worst, I AM STILL HEARTBROKEN! So, next time...I am going to be excited and anticipate the best. EASIER SAID THAN DONE! Oddly enough, I think my body knew and that's why I was so worried. At least we got this far and it's so fun! Can't wait to read how it goes for all of you...I wish you all the best!!!!! -Kaci =

Answer: Sunshine...thanks for your support! You know, I really think this has changed me. I've always been one to anticipate the worst and be surprised by anything good that does happen...but WHY NOT anticipate the best and be surprised by the worst?! My hubby is an eternal optimist and I always felt like "YOU'RE SUCH A DREAMER! COME BACK TO REALITY!" But, good things usually come to him! So, I WILL have a baby in 2005 and so will all of you! Thanks again!!!! =

Answer: I will be 5 weeks tomorrow and was also a little concerned at how 'unpregnant' I was feeling! But having read all your responses it seems that the lack of symptoms is quite normal!!! I've got the constant peeing, sore breasts and as of yesterday was getting period type stomach cramps (which worried me slightly), but I now know that this is all completely normal and I am much more relaxed for it! Good luck everyone - I'm sure the coming weeks will bring with them many more damning symptoms!!! =

Answer: My husband and I haven't used birth control for about 4 years. I had a very high stress job. I quit at the end of July and now I'm about 5 weeks pregnant! I feel like it is truly a miracle! I had completely given up. I realized my nipples were sore Sept 27. I had been having cramps just like I was getting ready to start my period since Sept 22. For the last couple of days the cramping isn't near what it was. Just very mild every once in a while. My nipples are still sore to the touch. I know how common miscarriage is so I'm so anxious to go see the doctor but they didn't schedule to see me until Oct 25! I keep trying to bring my mind back to how I know so many women that have never had miscarriages even after a year or two of trying to pregnant. I can't help but having anxiety and it is driving me crazy!  =

Answer: Dee...WOW! What a story! I think it's amazing what a stressful job (or lack of one! can do!!!) Congrats. There is really no way to calm that anticipation down...it's okay, let yourself be excited! I also was frustrated at how long they make you wait for an appointment, but it makes sense that they really can't see much of anything until you are farther along. And even if you did go in early on and they confirmed everything, that is no guarantee. Your body will take care of you and Dee...I have a good feeling you will be fine!!! :) Even with all of the nervousness and anticipation....that is SOOO normal...especially after trying for so long! Your baby is very resilient! Thanks EyeBee...I agree with you. I am soooo sorry to hear you were thinking you were pregnant for 3 months! That makes it even harder. (That's what it was like for me the first time.) It just makes us stronger. I can't wait to read your successful posts soon! :)  =

Answer: I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my 4th and it can be perfectly normal to have only a few symptoms of pregnancy this early. My breasts are sore, I pee a lot and I'm very fatigued but other than that I really don't feel pregnant yet. And that is very normal for right now. Don't worry, you all will feel pregnant soon enough. =

Answer: Thank you so much, Kaci! I really needed that. I honestly do have a good feeling about it, like nothing is going to go wrong. My husband is a very intuitive person and he said that he definitely did not have a bad feeling about it. I was going to wait to tell our families that I was pregnant until after my Oct 25 Dr.'s appt but I think I'll tell them this weekend. I think that their excitement will help me. Thanks to everyone on here. It helps to know so many of us are in the same boat. =

Answer: Dee...I agree! Tell your families! I had a really hard time keeping it in and I think that trying to keep that secret adds to the anxiety. Believe me...it will make you feel better! I know next time I'm going to tell my family too! Hang in there...I know it feels like an ETERNITY! :) =
