Hi there, this is my first time on one of these forums, thought it may help me in the early stages of my pregnancy. This is my 4th pregnancy, one and two were 5 weeks, three was nine and a half weeks. I had to go through 3 until i was finally tested, lots of tests came back clear but one for Lupus Anticoagulant came back positive although when i had the test done for a second time (apparently they need two positives) it came back negative, i am so confused now!! I am off to the doctor tonight to confirm my pregnancy and to ask what happens next, i am so scared, i was totally shocked to be pregnant again, we wasn't trying because the last m/c was just so heartbreaking! ↓
wellsrayner, I'm so sorry for your losses...it sounds like you could very well have issues even if you didn't get second positive. I'd push your doctor to put you on treatment for Lupus Anticoagulant regardless. if he/she won't then please look for a different doctor. I found in my struggles that some are willing to go the extra miles and many are not. You have to be your own advocate and not settle for someone telling you to just try again and hope for the best. That is a crock. You need to probably be on blood thinners and baby aspirin at least! Good luck to you and I know you can and will have your baby :) ↑
