Any of you know good home remedies?

Hi ladies. I'm trying to get good rest at night, drink fluids and exercise, but I have the world's darkest under-eye circles throughout the day! It's so frustrating to hear "wow, you look so tired", "try to get some sleep tonight;you look like you need it". Well people, I have an 8 month old and I'm 16 weeks pregnant...of course I'm tired! :) It's irritating because I'm trying to look my best and not haggard like I sometimes feel, but I just can't get rid of these circles. Do any of you have this problem? Do you know any tricks to lighten/get rid of them? Or even a certain makeup that you found worked well to hide them? Thanks!!

Hi Kiersten- I know they can be hard to hide! I use Oil of Olay eye cream, I can't remember the specific name, but it is not white, it's like a flesh tone and that has helped mine a bit, it also reduces puffiness. I also use Bare Minerals makeup which really covers well without looking too made up. I hate the cakey look. God luck!

I've heard of the Bare Minerals...I have yet to find a foundation I'm happy with. I have something called Keratosis Pilaris ( totally botched that spelling, I'm sure) which is basically dry skin and red bumps on my legs, upper arms and cheeks. It sucks and is getting harder to cover. Pregnancy messes with my skin bad anyways, but even though I put makeup on everyday I still feel like I look like crap. I'll have to try that eye cream and see if it helps. Maybe I just need a pamper day! :)

Well, you may as well get used to the dark circles. Once that baby comes, there really is nothing heavy-duty enough to hide them then!

For me the circles have gotten worse I found out I was pregnant again when my dd was almost 9 months. Shes 14 1/2 now and I'm almost 31 weeks. I use a liquid concealer, (just like 2-3 tiny dots) which your not suppose to rub in, your suppose to like pat it in. Then I cover that lightly with a powder. The trick is to use a little bit lighter color than your skin, as under your eyes is already darker. I read that tip online a while ago and especially now I do it all the time, lol!
