Hi everyone i'm new to this forum ....just wondering if anyone else is waiting like me to see if they are pregnant? We have one son who is nearly 6 who took 2 months to conceive,we have been ttc for well over 1 year now and I will be 36 this year.My cycle is 28-32 days luteal phase on average 14 days (we have been using opks).My last period was the 17/02/08 and I ovulated on 04/03/08 so waiting to see.I feel slightly sick sometimes but not sure if its all wishful thinking!!
Would love to hear from anyone in the same position. ↓

Hi Jax...im waiting, but don't expect to get a positive result. My husband and I have been trying for 18 months to get pregnant. We ahve no children. He has a low sperm count but this may be because of a blockage so we are waiting for surgery. We've been having fertility tests for about 6 months and his scan just showed that, so there is a bit of hope. We may do IVF this year through an egg share scheme as I am able to donate eggs as I am only 27. I am waiting to test because acording to my sysle I should have got my period maybe tuesday-friday but all I've had is a bit of spotting and I don't feel like it's coming so I think I may have to do a test...I don't want to though as I've had so many disappointmets. The docs said we were unlikely to conceive on our own so i'm thinking i must have my cycle dates mixed up or something like that....dunno ↑

Hi jax1....My LMP was 2/17/08 also. My cycle normally is 32-33 days since I have been on Glucophage. Hubby and I was planning on TTC in April, but we BD on cd10 and then I ovulated on cd11. Wasn't expecting that at all because I normally ovulate cd14-15. I took one test already, but it was a BFN, however, I'm technically not late yet, so who knows? LOL - My breast are extremely tender but that happens with my periods too, and I haven't been sick so, not expecting much. But we'll see. When do you plan to take HPT? I may try another in a few days if AF doesn't come. And if she does, well we will try again next month. Keep me posted and lots of Baby Dust to You***** ↑

Thank you for your replies...I can relate to what you say re dissapointment with BFN'S ....I did a HPT test yesterday and again BFN but like LeAngel says technically I'm not late yet,last night I felt AF would come but no sign so still keeping my fingers crossed.Congrats to bubbasmom lets hope we will all join you soon.To alm and LeAngel keep me posted **** ↑

Hi Jax1, i was going to test this morning but my local supermarket did not ave any preg tests! The one time - they are always on the shelf! I fianlly told Hubby that my period is late but he thinks that I have muddled my dates up and to wait, as we know the chances of having a baby on our own are very low, so I really don't expect too much...but my LMP was 9th feb, so it's going to be a long cycle when AF does turn up. x ↑

I'm still here waiting on AF. I haven't taken another HPT yet. Thought I should give it some more time. Hard to wait sometimes though, LOL. I still have very sore chest, some lower cramping, and VERY moody! LOL - I think DH is ready to kick me outside to sleep with our pets! LOL - Anyway, I might take a HPT in the morining. Hi Jax1, I am waiting to see if i am pregnant too. My period is due tomorrow. I been having really watery pink and light brown spotting these three days. Did a pregnancy test on the 24th of my cycle but it came out to be negative. Been tracking for my ovulation this month, but sees no sign for ovulation (I use the clear blue ovulation digital monitor, no happy face =P)..but been having cramp and little pain on the breast and going to restroom a lot. dunno if any of these are signs for pregnancy, but I hope it is ^_^...will give it another week tho. good luck ↑

Just what I needed! I too am waiting and it's driving me nuts. Glad to find some support. I had a m/c in Dec (12/13/07) and we just ttc this month. I'm 90% certain it didn't take! :( It's hard to know how long my cycles are...they are whaked. I know I o'd on 3/6-3/7, but before m/c cycles I should start 3/19...took a test today, BFN! :( Aswith others, I guess I'm not "technically" late, so I still secretly hold out hope, but deep down am afraid I know the answer. The miserable thing about not being pregnant is that you find out by having AF...and who enjoys that? It's a double whammy! :) Baby dust to all! Keep everyone posted! ↑

Hi reapplelassie sounds like you o'd just after me.I've heard and reade so many stories of ladies not getting a positive result until 2-3 weeks after AF due some even longer so it does give us hope but like you say its just the not knowing....I try to "get on with life" but its hard,I do some charity runs ....one is next month but Im not training-just incase! LOL at jax...no need to run just in case! I know I know they say symtoms don't show up until late. I do have 1 dd and with her I got a faint positive the day I missed...took antoher and got a BFN, took a 3rd, 4th, 5th...oh about 8 actually and got BFN. I even woke up at 4am and thought for sure that was first morning urine and it too came back -...however, in a day or so I finally got another BFN and 9 months later had a healthy baby! SO maybe....but it's one of those things that my gut is saying not this time. I can't decide if it's my gut or I just don't want to get my hopes up. :) Another question for you, or anyone really, do you ever consider birthdates when ttc? If it doesn't take this time, and we ttc next month that puts the baby here around Christmas. I KNOW I just want a healthy baby, shouldn't matter when it comes...but then I think, ah, that poor kid will never have a party at school and it's friends will never be able to come to a party b/c they will be with family! :) Ah...the joys of ttc, right? Any news from anyone yet, any BFP? Be sure to keep us updated! ↑

Still waiting for Friday to see my doctor. Haha...the only reason it matters for baby's birthday is Exemption on your tax returns haha..joking. But I really think as long as the baby is healthy it should be okay. Why not think it this way, the family will definitely help him/her celebrate since we all off ^_^ bigger party ^_^ ↑

Hi Redapple....I had a miscarriage 12/5/07 also. At the same time, I found out that I have PCOS after 3 miscarriages. I was put on Glucophage and will start Clomid next month. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can conceive and carry my baby to term. As for my update this month.....another BFN! I'm actually looking forward for AF to come so I can start my next cycle. hi jax1...sorry haven't emailed...i got my period on monday....but I am sure it was a week late so I went to my doc who has done a blood test to check for hcg. If I have a low number she'll know that I miscarried or had a chemical pregnancy. I need to know because currently having fertility tests at UCL London. If it comes back as 0 hcg, she says that it's not conclusive. Only 40% of failed pregnacies will register a hgc reading at this stage. So in a way I'm hoping that I get a hcg reading as I've never got that far before in all this time. I know a miscarriage is not a nice scenario but at least it means one of hubbys sperm got there - and there isn't many of them. He has a blockage and we are waiting for his operation, which should be in July we hope. x ↑

Guess what, me and my hun decided to do another pregnancy test before going to the doctor on Friday. I guess I am going to do it tomorrow morning ^^ seeing PCP tomorrow. No matter what will have to see OB on Friday, because having these unusual signs =P will keep your all posted ^_^...hope to see a positive tomorrow ^_^ ↑

Hi everyone AF is here!!!! woke up at 3am with cramps could not get back to sleep as I was then just waiting fot it and sure enough 5am ish she arrived.So so upset as I really felt "this was the month" like we all do.Not sure what else to do perhaps will see my Doctor see what they suggest.Away for the easter break but will be back soon good luck to everyone keep posting and look out for new thread if this one disappears.XX ↑

Know how u feel, I came off birth control 23rd Dec and still waiting i know that it takes time when u come off the pill but its still murder waiting. Im around 2 days late if counted in hours but dont want to take a test incase of disappointment i really want to be and my partner knows when i get my period so he is asking are the here yet, dont get me wrong we are trying but men are worse than women at the waiting game i think. Feeling very tired had very short temper the last week and the smell of raw meat is making me feel sick even as i write this, iv got alot of gas also, im burping all the time but dont have sore boobs only nipples to touch but really bad lower back pains and pee as soon as i drink anything. Does it sound like im trying to talk myself into being preggers or could i be wot should i do??????????????? x x ↑

Guess what ladies, I went to my OB on Thursday before going to my PCP. she did an ultrasound (the regard gyn one) and tested my urine and she said I am not pregnant. It looks like my period can't come out. So, she issued me the provera (push your period to come out). I was disappointed. Went to PCP afterward, and told him that my gyn give me the provera, he suggested me to do a blood test before taking the pill. So, I am still waiting right now, called them before, they said the result are not out yet..damn wait again =P
However, been having serious back pain over the weekend, cant even walk normally nor sit. so painful. As I said I had a car accident a year ago and I have a bogging?? disc on my L4 or L5. Dunno man...I been applying ban-gay to it, dunno if it will affect my pregnancy or not IF I AM pregnant =P GOD, hope everything will be fine ... ↑

Ladies, bad news. Doctor called me this morning said the blood test came out to be negative. My period still hasnt come yet, but I guess I have to accept the truth, guess will start my provera medication today so that my period will arrive soon and I could start my next cycle soon. good luck to the rest of your. ↑
