Anyone else work in a daycare and take DC with them?

I have a kind of vent but want to see if anyone else has this problem. My co-workers are all women and sometime it feels like jr high all over again. There are two distinct groups that fight nonstop. I try to avoid this and avoid the other "group" (since somehow I was placed in a group without my knowledge) but some of the other girls work in the baby roon and that is where my DS is (he is almost 3 months old). Everytime I come in there they have something rude to say about how I feed him, his sleeping habits, how I dress him, etc. I also think they may be taking out their hatred on DS. One day I was supposed to get off at 5 but we were busy so I didnt leave till 5:30. I went to pick him up and he was in his car seat screaming, covered with sweat. They said they had put him in there at 5 because they wanted to help me out, but I would think if I wasnt there in a few mintues they would take him back out. Do you think they are taking it out on him? I am not sure what to do, I have a very strong dislike for these people anyway, and if I find out they are doing anything to my son I will go OFF! But I am trying to decide if I should try to make other arrangements for him, even if it is not financially or otherwise practical. Any thoughts or similar situations?

I do not work in day care, but it sounds like some of the women you work with a total b*itch's! They need to be treating all children fairly and you have the same rights as every other parent does....If it was me I would have a talk to the manager. If you have to pay full fees for your ds and are worried they may be neglecting him, maybe you could consider placing him in another centre until he is a little bit older. It is really sad that women act that way at a child care centre....my son goes to one and I think they should be setting a good example for the children instead of acting like kids themselves. Best of luck and I hope things get better.
