Hello, i just found out yesterday that i'm pregnant and i would love to have some buddies who are preggers as well. I'm not trying to tell any friends and family because it's so early and i want to cross the 2 or 3 month mark first. Hey Tiphanai, I just got a BFP this morning on CD14 so I'm not sure when I'm due but I'm sure it will be around that time. I'm in the same boat with you, I'm not telling anybody until I've at least been to the doctor and I see a or hear a heartbeat. DEDAA, its good to see you again. You posted in the TTC forum. Hello ladies, I got my BFP on Saturday, I have yet to see my Dr., but from what the due date calculators say, I'm due on Feb. 20th too! Congrats to you all! I'm glad to have some baby waiting buddies instead of 2ww buddies :) How long were you all ttc? This is #2 for me, and I wasn't trying with my DS, and lucky for me I only had to try one cycle with this one....it almost makes me feel bad, cuz I know there's a lot of women on these boards who have been ttc for a long time.... ↑
Welcome Danielle, Oh I went online to a site where it calculated my due date and it said Feb. 21. Mine and DH anniversary is on Feb. 16th so that will be a nice anniversary gift. Jamie ↑

Helle again jldaniels yeah we were on the same thread ther i go back and look alot there are alot of us that got our BFP there. Congrats to all the ladies here that got BFP. It will be nice to have some others to talk to well going through our pregnancys. ↑
Cocozen it is realy scary when you are a young my first baby I had when I was only 17 it was the hardest thing i have ever done but he made me become such a better person and want to make more of myself. It is terrifying at first it took almost a month with him for me to be ok with everything. Then my last one I got pregnant when I was 21 so that ws pretty scary too I couldn`t imagine being so young with 2 but now I am pregnant with my third I am 23 soemtimes when I think about my age I feel as if I should be older to have this many kids but one thing for sure with each pregnancy it makes me thrive to better myself for those boys. I want to give them the world and now with this third one I can only be excite about what kind of person I will be when this pregnacy is finished and what I am willing to do for all three of my angels. I haven't been to the doctor yet but according to the on-line calculators my due date should be Feb 13.. my wedding anniversary is Feb 18 and my birthday is Feb 10 so this baby should be a great gift!!! I was looking for some more waiting buddies so this should be fun!!! ↑

LOL....it seems not many of us have been to the dr. yet :) My dr. told me I have to wait until I'm 2 weeks late because the test they give won't detect the HCG until then. Weird when you think about it. The worst tests on the market detect 100 miu of HCG, and I've tested positive on those. You'd think the dr.'s test would be at least as good as the worst tests on the market :p ↑
Congrats jldaniels & Danielle26!! like everyone is saying we really were in a lucky TTC thread. I think there were at least 10 BFP's. I'm having such a hard time keeping this news to myself and it's only been 2 days. Haha, as it becomes more real i guess i just feel like everything will be ok. But i'm still going to try to keep quiet for the next few months. ↑
I'm in Canada and I don't have to wait at all here. I did a test at the clinic on Sunday and my appt. with my family doctor is on Friday. Maybe it's different in the US (i'm assuming that's where most of the ladies here are from)
Anyone else getting some mild cramps? I was for the last couple days but it tapered of today...i can feel them starting back up again. Nothing alarming i don't think, just mild twinges. They say it's the body making room for the uterus growth... ↑
I am in Canada too.. I am lucky in that one of my best friends is a family doctor.. she suggested I wait until I am about 6 weeks before I go in.. my dh's repsonse was 6 weeks that's soooo long... I laughed since at the time I was already 4 weeks.. anyways I've been having some mild cramping too I don't think anything to worry about.. hope all is well with everyone!!! ↑
Kims, do you think they suggest waiting just in case something were to happen with the pregnancy? I know the first 6 weeks are very crucial. My partner doesn't so much want me to wait to see the doctor but he doesn't want to talk about it until i'm 6 weeks. This pregnancy was not planned and turns out he's not as excited about it as I am :-|
We're bi-coastal and i just flew back to my place in Canada while he's still in the US for another couple of days. While I can understand his feelings, it's still hurts me that he's overjoyed - i know he'll get there but i just wish we shared the same feelings. I know this is horrible, but part of me wonders if he would be relieved if the pregnancy didn't last. Oh, drama. I'm just trying to remind myself that everyone feels different when they first hear they're going to be a parent, I wish we were totally TTC like alot of couples on this board. Then we could both share in the happiness ↑
Hello ladies yeah I think it is different in Canada, I live in Newfoundland and I tested last wendnesday and I was into the doctor by monday. I have been getting cramping as well just gets annoying after awhile. I cannot wait for the moment I hear the baby`s heartbeat. ↑
Hey TIPHANAI, I understand what you mean about your husband. We were ttc and he still didn't act excited but my last two pregnancies were not successful so I think he is just afraid right now. I'm waiting for my doctor appt. as well. The 29th. That is when my next pap was supposed to be so I'm just leaving it. I feel bad because I wanted to be pregnant so bad but I started crying last night and started again this morning over everything. I have this horrible metallic taste in my mouth, my boobs hurt, my throat hurts, I'm tired, dh makes me irritable. Whats funny is all these symptoms started Monday. Thats one of the reasons I took a test Tuesday morning. Dh don't understand. I know this is TMI but let me tell you what he did. He went out yesterday and bought me a sex toy (jackrabbit). Granted, I had been asking for it for a while now but he gets it on the day I find out I'm pregnant and I was so pissed. I was like "Oh, This is a lovely pregnancy gift." and he was like "You still want to have fun when we are havig sex, don't you?". Maybe I'm the one who is weird but it just upset me. If he had gotten me flowers or a card or something about the baby I would have been fine but.......Anyway, sometimes I think men don't have a clue. Jamie ↑
Well just got my BFP yesterday...I remember most of you from our original thread!I haven't been to the doc yet. I go next Thursday. I'm figuring my Due date to be around Feb 19th. it will be our 3rd. I have two other DD's. I'm so glad there are so many of us to talk with! ↑
Hello everyone. My expected due date is Feb 14th. Valentines day...its funny because i have a ds which was born on st. patricks day. I have a doctors appointment on friday the 16th. I already went once just to confirm my pregnancy by a test in the office. I really have no symptoms and wouldnt of even tested or thought anything of it if me and dh were not ttc. ↑

My dh has been irritating me a bit lately I think it is just our hormones at least I hope so anyways. On monday I went for a doctors appointment and at first the doc came in and said your test just came back negative so he gave me an internal and told me I look the way I should when being pregnant. I was so upset when I left there cause it seemed to me that the doc thought I was imaginning everything or something so I went right to the Walmart and bought 2 more hpt`s took one is soon as I walked in the door and it turned positve. Anyways I ws really upset and depressed b/c it did not seem to me like the doc actually thought I was pregnant so I went all night being upset. I told my dh what happend while he was at work so by the time he got off work I tried to really sit down and talk to help myself relax so I started talking to him and he continues to go shhh he was trying to sneak up on our 7 month old so that was cute so after that I just went back to the kitchen and he looks at me he asks me whats wrong and why I never talk to him about how I am feeling! Like daa wake up why do you think? So that is just one of my stories about him irritating me. I have so many more. He is an amazing guy though I love him so much but he just doesn`t think sometimes.LOL ↑

Jamie, i'm laughing and confused the whole time i'm reading your message. Is your hubby off his rocker? I mean, sure it's sweet that he wants you to "have fun" but they so don't understand that sex is the LAST thing on our mind right? And i totally hear you on the emotions - dh called last night and chose 12:30am to share his doubts. WTH? Well i've always thought women were the stronger sex and i suppose times like these are just a test right?
Sounds like your symptoms are pretty heavy lately. It'll get better - I was feeling like you are for the last couple days but i woke up this morning feeling almost *normal*. So much so that my neurotic self to an OPK test just to make sure "the baby hadn't fallen out" - as dh would put it. Idiot! :-)
On the bright side, in 2 weeks we will have passed the 6 week mark which is a great milestone!

Ok, So I am an idiot. I, too, seemed normal this afternoon and started freaking out. I guess because not having symptoms was the main sign something was wrong with my last two pregnancies. Anyway, I took my second test this morning but it was invalid. No line, not even the test line showed. Well, Tonight I just couldn't stand it because of the fact I seemed normal and went out and paid $18.00 for more tests (stupid, stupid, stupid). Anyway, The positive showed up in like 2 seconds so I feel better. At least I'll be able to rest easy. I hate spending that much money but if I hadn't I would worry all night. DH is sick. Hes been throwing up and has the squirts (tmi). I told he has my morning sickness. I'm not glad hes sick but at least I don't have to worry about him pulling the jackrabbit out tonight. haha Jamie ↑

Hi Mel, i don't think it's too early. I think my CD was between June 1-3 so if you tried in early May it should show up. Keep me posted.
Jamie, isn't it funny how if we have too many symptoms or too much cramping we freak out. And then when we start to feel good - we freak out! This is going to be a long 9 months isn't it? hehe
I'm sorry that your last 2 pregnancies didn't make it, was your doctor able to find out why? I think faith and positive thinking will get us through. I try to remind myself that if my pregnancy doesn't last God has a good reason for it. But in my heart I really do feel like everything will be great. With that said, i totally understand that feeling of "am i still pregnant?" Thankfully i have some OPK's left and they only cost me $0.50 each so i'm sure i'll be using a few more until i get to hear the baby's heartbeat.
Too bad about your hubby, hope he feels better. Maybe you should put the jackrabbit in the dishwasher and the next time he pull it out act all surprised at why it won't work!
Tomorrow is my first doctor's appt. I realize she can't tell me much expect "You're Pregnant" . But at least maybe my dh will stop referring to it as "me being late" ↑
