Anyone have negative preg TESTS and still turn out to be pregnant. Just wondering because Ive read other posts where people thought they were pregnant despite negative tests but most times they were not pregnant.
I have many signs and am sure I had sex when ovulating but still getting negative tests.Wondering if I should bother to go to doctor for blood test. First Response tests have worked for me before and I think they are pretty accurate.

Well, for the past 2 months, I thought I might be pregnant. I have an 11 month old and I breast-fed him up until about a week and a half-ago. Anyhow, I only started getting my period when he was about 6 months old, so I've only had 4 periods...the last 2 seemed different, but I figured maybe it was my body adjusting to having cycles again. Well, the 4th period seemed really strange and since then, I've just FELT pregnant...slightly sore boobs off and on, low backached, fatigue, slight nausea (not much though...I never get morning sickness.) Well, I also have long cycles...usually between 35-37 days. My shortest in the past has been 28 and my longest has been 42. Usually, though, if I don't get it by 39, I wonder if I'm pregnant. Well, today is #39 or it could be 42 if you count the 3 days of spotting I had before my last period. Anyhow, to answer your question...(I'm rambling on now) with the last 2 periods, I took 3 pregnancy tests (1 before and 1 after the first strange period and one after the last one) They all said negative. I also use First Response. With my first 2 pregnancies, when I was pregant, that is how I first found out. For the past month since my last "period" I have just been wondering if I was...my husband doesn't know this has been going on for a while...but he's starting to suspect since he knows when I have my periods. (He wants sex every chance he can in between! LOL) I am taking a test tomorrow! Wish me luck!!! :) ↑
Hey i just wanted to tell you that i am in the same boat. I DO feel pregnant, and usually right on in terms of my cycle, definitely had sex when i O'd and am now about a week late. BUT ... hpt's say NEG every freaking day. So i don't know that i am necessarily answering your question by any means, but i wanted you to know that i am in the same frustrated boat. i just decided to make a dr appt for a blood test which is later today so i guess at least then i will know for sure. TTC should be kind of exciting but i am inpatient and find that it sucks. :> Hang in there ... ↑
Well let me now girls becuase my tests have been negative and still no period . But the tests have been pretty accurate before. So if you guys are preg then maybe I will go to the docotr for a blood test. I just dont want to waste my time ↑
Hi, again. Well, last night my hubby worked it out of me that I think I might be pregnant...I was afraid of his reaction because we weren't really trying. I was planning on going back to work in September so we could start saving for a larger car, but knew in my heart I couldn't wait another 5 years for a baby...I am already 35. Anyhow, he was surprised and wanted me to take a test last night. I told him they work better in the morning, but he insisted. So, I took one and of course, it was negative but then I took one this morning and it was still negative. It was funny last night because he was suddenly acting like the proud Papa and he had to tell his mom and his cousin, so now his whole family will know. I kinda wanted to wait until I knew for sure. (Although, I did tell my mom because I had already told her my suspicions last month.) I already have 2 boys (2 1/2 years and an 11-month old) so, it's real recent in my memory how it feels to be pregnant. My stomach feels a little bigger, especially when I'm sitting. I am going to call the doctor's office and see what they say. The only times I have been this late are when I've been pregnant. We're hoping for a girl this time...:) ↑
well, ladies, i'm in the same boat. i'm now 2.5wks late & getting BFN's on HTP's & one BT that was done when i was 3dys late. at this point, i'm so frustrated that i'd be happy w/ either way this situation goes. AF or, by some odd cahnce, a BFP. who knows? how are you ladies doing? any updates? ↑
Well, I called the doctor's office this morning and they transferred me to the nurse's voice mail and told me to request a pregnancy blood test. She called back within about 15 minutes and I explained my situation to her. She said she would write up a blood test that I could take as early as today, but when I told her about how long my cycles were, she said that she would suggest that I wait a week and then go take the test...I hate waiting!!! But it will be worth it if I really am pregnant. I will definately know if my clothes suddenly don't fit because the shorts I am wearing were loose a couple of weeks ago and now they are just fitting...almost a little snug! :) I will let you know how it goes... ↑
I spotted a little bit of pink this morning, but only when I wiped. I'm hoping it's just that and not AF. I'm almost 1 week late (tomorrow) and no period yet. I can't wait to test again, so I am going to take another one tomorrow morning. If it's still negative, I will wait until Tuesday and take just one more and if I still get a negative, I will go get my blood pregancy test done. I hate all this waiting! How is everyone else doing? ↑
jennie73: ive been reading ure little posts here and well, goodluck!! for me, my finace and i enjoyed ourselves june 19th-july 6th [hes in marines and stationed in hawaii, ugh!]... my last real AF was june 15th and lasted normal 4 days. july 15th came around and all i did was SPOT for EIGHT days! weird huh? spotting like, brown and light pink. so i stopped after 8 days and THEN a week later i start spotting again, brown and light pink for three days! i am still spotting a little bit today, but nothing big. NOOOOW, as of the past week i am just feeling nauseous as 3 and 4 o'clock roll around, everyday. my lower belly has been aching too. the bad part is, i have taken 5 pregnancy tests, starting from july 6th or so up until a week ago. alllllll negative. i do read though that a lot of women will not test positive on a HPT until 8 weeks into their pregnancy. i could have had conception as early as the 19th of june, or as late as july 6th...... i just wish it wasn't negative all the time. all i know is that i am considering this a missed period because it was totally not a period at all!!! so if my period does not come august 15th or so, and if no spotting occurs, i think i may be in luckl!! what do you guys think? baby dust** to all!! ↑
I took another test this morning...still BFN!!! :( I was also spotting when I wiped and then there was a little more later in the pad, but not heavy like a period and not red...mostly pink. Sorry if TMI. Anyhow, I was feeling really out of it today...kinda lightheaded and nauseous all day long. I'm hoping it's not my period showing up late and that it could be implantation bleeding. I really do believe I am pregant. Only time will tell...I am still going to wait 'til Tues. and then I will go take a blood test just to make sure! Yesterday, the dam broke! :( So, I guess it was just a late period. I was so sure I was pregnant, but I guess if you really want to be, your body plays tricks on you. We weren't trying anyhow...we were using the withdrawl method, but I thought maybe we'd had an oops and I was ready to accept that. I was a little depressed yesterday and I couldn't stop the tears while I was sitting in church. It was rather embarrassing! Anyhow, I just wanted to update you. I hope the rest of you get your BFP!!! :) ↑
