I can't believe I'm pregnant and posting this!
Well,I can't say for sure when I ovulated because I'm pretty irregular, but my husband and I BD'd every other day for a week a couple of weeks after my last period (in April). Also, my boobs always get sore 2 weeks before my period, so they started getting sore as soon as I ovulated, which is when we started trying this month.
At about a week after trying, I had the worst back and stomach pain ever one Sunday night (May 4)! It started small and in the back, but then it spread to my stomach. I can't describe it really, or even tell you what it was, but it lasted 5 hours. Two days later I woke up, ran to the toilet and threw up. I ended up getting a fever for 2 days (up to 102.5 then down to 99.8 for most of day 2). I had bad diarrhea (sorry!) and then by the fourth day, I was just fine. So I thought it was just a bug going around my work. That was last week, then this week, I started getting cramps. So every day, starting Monday, I kept telling my husband that my period was going to start at any minute. My boobs were sore and I had cramps---classic period symptoms. My husband kept telling me to test because he said my boobs were getting bigger. I refused to test because I've tested many times before, when I thought I was pregnant, and it was neg.
This morning (Saturday) I decided to finally test because my period was due about 3 days ago (Although I'm irregular, whenever I get sore boobs, it's EXACTLY 14 days til my period). I could NOT believe that as soon as I POAS, it was positive!!!! After all the times I thought I was pregnant and wasn't, this cycle I didn't think there was any way I could be pregnant cause it was EXACTLY like AF was coming.
I just hope that this encourages other women TTC because it really helped me reading other women's symptoms. If you think you're getting your AF, keep hope alive because it happened for me!
Oh, the only reason I thought I could be pregnant (like a tiny sliver of hope), was that my nipples got sore after my boobs got sore, which has never happened. The doubter in me just said that I had never noticed it in previous cycles. LOL ↓
Congratulations! What a wonderful surprise for you! I am in the tww and some days I feel hopeful and days like today I am thinking af is on her way. This makes me feel more hopeful! Have a great nine months =) ↑
