Hi I jsu turned 6 weeks pregnant, last week at 5 and a half weeks i started to bleed, i went to my doctor who tested my hcg levels and they were rising, not as high as she would of liked but they were rising, so she sent me for an u/s and there was no yolk sac visible, and she wants to re check my levels tomorrow but she said that was to make sure they were going down becaue i miscarried an dso on. I have another doc who says it is too early to tell anything and that it is common not to see anything that early and to wait, i am still bleeding it has been 4 days now, no pain i still have morn. sickness and tender breasts. Is t possible that i am still pregnant or have i miscarried? With my first child i had my "period" for three months so i just dont know any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. ↓

Hi mimi. Unfortunatly, it does sound like you are at the start of a miscarriage. Did you have an internal or external U/S? If it was internal and there was no sac, then there probably isn't. If it was not internal, then I'm not sure. Once they check your hcg levels you will know for sure. Hope it good news! ↑

You can't be sure of anything yet! With my second daughter I went in for an ultrasound at 4 weeks(thought I was 8 weeks) and there was no baby and no heartbeat, just a sac. He took blood and my levels only went up 50%. He told me to expect a miscarriage over the weekend. Well, my daughter is 16 months and wonderfully healthy. It turned out I was really early and that is why the untrasound picked nothing up. Just wait it out and take your vitamins. ↑
