| Answer: Hi ladies!! Wow I have been busy doing some heavy reading! I hope I keep it all straight coming from FEB. **DJ** So sorry AF came!! What a bummer. Do you think you and DH will go back to clomid this month? I have decided that if this month doesn't work for us, I will start clomid again next month. What did Cheri predict for you, again? **Sarah**What are the results of the blood work? **Kimmer**Do you have family in Cleveland? I was up in PA just across the border from there this weekend... Your chart looks like you have some high temps--that's good, right? You mentioned your dr giving you the go ahead on starting your cycle again, but I am confused since your temps are so high? **PL**What CD are you on? You have the patience of a saint! **Fatso** Do you temp? I can't remember. EWCM is the best indicator of OV, but I have it often, so for more it doesn't work. I temp b /c that works best for me. If your insurance covers it, you may want to still keep your appointment. If not, and you're sure you didn't ov, you may want to reschedule. I hear w/o insurance these trips can be pricey. Sorry if I missed anyone! I read through everything but going from one month to the n ext I may have missed someone inadvertently. As for me, a drama filled weekend. Thank goodness I o'd before we left or it may have been delayed AGAIN!! Here I am, cd 33 and only 5 dpo, can you believe it? I have decided I will wait until March 15th to test. I think for me, deciding on a date helps me get through this horrifically long wait!! Even longer since I didn't even O until cd 28 (ridiculous). Anyway ladies, hope things are going well! DJ~So sorry AF showed up sweetie! As for me....well...nothing to report. AF is due on the 8th, but I'm not expecting it since I didn't take any meds. I do not O without medication. If I'm not on meds, I only have AF 1-2 times a year with no O. I want to lose another 20 pounds(I've lost 46 since TTC!!), and then try again. Maybe towards the end of summer we will start again, who knows. I'm going to get all the tests done for me and DH this time around though to make sure there are no problems. I will ALWAYS pop in here and read whats going on....so don't worry!! You girls have become friends, and I hope you all stay too....even after your BFP!! Baby Dust to everyone!! = |
| Answer: Hi Ladies!! so the nurse called me this afternoon and said "i have the results of your BW".... and im like--oh good. She says....."your pregnant". and im like "AND"...... well, i told her, i was expecting more information since i already knew i was pregers. SHe said that the "girl" didnt request all the Betas and progesterone and whatever. what a dip *hit! That was my whole reason to make an special trip!!!!!!!!! I remember seeing the words "pregnancy labs" on the sheet. so she said they can call back to the lab and ask for that information. I was like good.... cause i think my progesterone is really low and im constantly spotting. SOOOOOO she said they will call me tomorrow. SO another day we wait. UGH. ********ANON************ im excited to hear from you:-) happy to hear you read all the time too. WOW, youve lost a lot of weight girl!!! Im super jealous. i personally need to lose at least 60 lbs to be in my healthy range.... and now that im pregnant.... im a little worried (your thinking--why didnt she just lose it before ttcing--ive been overweight allllllll mylife!!). So i decided to im going to try and follow the Gestational Diabetes diet which is totally safe-- and could even get me to not gain much of anything. I cant really afford to gain more then like 20-25 lbs..... otherwise i will be super uncomfortable. Please share your secret for weight loss-- that is an amazing amount so you must have something good to share. ANyhoo- isnt this your first cycle off meds????????????? i wonder if it helped you O like it did for me.???? You sound so positive and that is great. Did you contact Cheri22 TOO??? My older DS has done some modeling job. | Answer: Okay, am I missing something? Where are these hot pics?? haha. Sarah~Gosh, what a retard! Hopefully you will get some results in tomorrow...and get ya started on some progesterone! I have been up and down in my weight since a child. I go to a size 6, then get up to an 18, and back down to an 8.....just all over the place. I have no secret really....I eat what I want in small portions. I only eat 1-2 times a day, I hardly eat fruits and veggies, I LOVE carbs, and I eat out 3 times a week....good advice huh? haha! Atleast I'm honest :). The only thing I did was take Phentermine(sp?) for one month, and since then the weight has just been coming off and it made me eat a whole lot less. I had to switch to 3 doctors to get that drug prescribed, but it does work, and it gives you tons of energy. I only did it for 30 days though....then we TTCed, so of course I stopped! I try to run 3 miles(20 mins on an elliptical 3 times a week! EASY!). I stopped drinking soda too, and stopped eating fast food, and cook dinner at home Monday-Thursday. I also try to eat as soon as my feet hit the floor in the morning so it gets my metabolism going....I use to not eat until the afternoon!! That's about it for me! As for Cheri, she was wrong with me. Cheri told me OCT. I did not conceive in OCT and if it was my EDD I would have conceived Jan/Feb. So she isn't always right, bummer! Yes, this is my first cycle off meds, and I'm pretty sure I did not O. Oh well, I'm taking a break and working on my body...so I'm going to stay positive :) = |

| Answer: Hi girls, finally I find u all... this is what I posted on Feb: BFP BFP BFP BFP BFP!!!!!!!! Finally I did the test this morning... I can't believe my eyes, the line shown up right away & very dark!! dh & I did the test together, yesterday night I couldn't sleep at all, this morning while waiting for my dh come back from yoga, I was sooooo nervous, absolutely scariest thing to do ever. Anyway, I just came back from Blood test, will make an appoinment to see my doc now.... IT IS A MIRACLE!!! Thank you everyone here for being sooo supportive all this months, I really appreciate everything. Cheri is slightly off, since she predicted DEC, my EDD would be about early NOV, my first af started on 26/1. **Sarah** I'm right behind you!!! lets hope for the best for our baby. **DJ** it is weird that I couldn't see ur post, but from everyone's response, sorry about the af.... | Answer: I just got a call from my doc, she got my BT result, se said my bhcg is 9000, and progesterone 157, she said everything is good!!!! I'm soooo happy, I'm going to see her in 2 weeks for my first scan, she said we should be able to hear those heart beats.... this really make it REAL!! Still can't believe it, it will be ur turn soon ladies, just watch out!!! hahahahaha :D **Hoping** although u O'ed late, but u did O'ed!!! same as me last cycle, a late one, but G/L dear!! **Kimmer** thanks for the new thread :) Hope ur af starts soon. **Anon** wow u lose 46 pounds, that is amazing!! | Answer: well, i've been taking opk tests twice a day since my trigger shot to make sure the lines stay nice and dark. i figure if they stay dark for longer than 2 weeks after my shot, that's a good sign right? well, i took one tonight and i dunno if me having had a few sodas had anything to do with it, but the test line was fading. that was weird because earlier today the test line was nice and strong. oh well =\ i won't get my hopes up. i suppose i have more important things to worry about. i'm hoping my hubby gets the job he's been going after. well, if anything changes, i'll let you ladies know, but for now i think this month's a bust. progesterone check is on the 6th but i'm not expecting a miracle here lol. = |

After my first MC it took me 8 months to lose my weight. Now at least ive lost most of my weight.. Just started eating healthy. No cooldrinks. No Fried Chips. If i wanted chips id bake them. The first three days will be your fertile period. = |

If you haven't ovulated yet, you should still see the temp jump when you do. Keep us posted on the results of the dr's visit! Are you Bding regularly? DH and I Bd every other day. And, the same due date, how awesome... :) ***Teddy - I would think the line fading is actually normal. The ov tests pick up the lh surge. And, your lh doesn't keep surging continuously - just for a day or two. I would say that you are probably o'ing about right now. And, then if you keep taking the ov tests, if you are preggers, then I would think that they will get light and then dark again when your body starts to produce hcg....make sense? ***Anon - glad you are still here! | Answer: Hello Ladies, I have finished my second round of clomid this month. My first round I did get pregnant taking 100 mgs days 1-5. However it ended in a Blighted Ovum. I had to have a D&C on January 9th and my cycle started on Feb 16. The took my clomid days 3-7 and and BD on days 9,12,14,and 16 so far. I have unexplained infertility and I am hoping to have a child. I wanted to know if anyone has taken them the following days as I? what was you BD schedule? and how many cycles did it take you to get pregnant? = |
| Answer: Teddy~Can I ask why your even taking OPK's if you had an HCG trigger shot? A trigger shot is given to make sure you ovulate. It honestly doesn't make any sense. When you use OPK's, your testing for your surge so you can time intercourse, and you hope you will indeed ovulate. When you get a trigger shot, 1st of all....you must have follicles over 18mm that are ready to O, and your body recognizes it as an LH surge, and it usually overrides your own LH surge. If you get a trigger, you will ovulate usually within 36 hours. If you say you got a trigger 4 days ago....you have already ovulated, and therefore, there would not be a surge showing up on an OPK at any rate. I was advised to BD for 4 consecutive days starting the day AFTER the shot. There is no need to test using an OPK....you already know for a fact that within 24 hours you will surge from the shot. Most trigger shots are only able to be picked up on tests for 3 days anyways(that's what my doctor told me anyways!). I seriously would not be at all concerned with your OPK's, so don't worry! I just hope you have been bding! PL~Congratulations girlie! I'm really happy for you, and I hope you have a wonderful, healthy 9 months! Your beta is high...maybe theres two??
Sarah~hahahaha, you crack me up! I haven't ever tried that stuff, but from what people say....I will never try it!! Yes, Phentermine was one of the drugs in Fen Phen....which was later banned. Phentermine is still available though, and it really does work wonders. Don't take it while your preggers though, that'd be bad!! Tell us when you get your BW news....I'm waiting!! :) = |

And don't worry...you haven't missed any of my posts...Sarah was just "stalking" my chart...lol :-) I have been reading everyday about everyone but just not posting. Got a little down when AF showed up so I decided to take a little break. I was hoping for another "easy count cycle" but I started on the 2nd...not the 1st :-P So **PL - CONGRATS GIRL!!! Those numbers are amazing! I second what Sarah said...maybe there are two in there!! Can't wait to hear about it! **Sarah - can't wait to hear the numbers from your blood test! I can't believe they didn't do a quant test...that is just retarded. It's almost like they don't believe you when you call and say you got a +HPT...oh doctors...lol. Well I must say that you and Hoping were the best cycle buddies EVER!! **Hoping - so glad you finally O'd and glad it was before all the drama! Sounds like it went perfect! What DPO are you now? I think like...4 or 5 right? **Kimmer - i hope AF comes for you soon so you can get started on your next cycle with me! **Anon - everyone is seeing my pics (don't know about the "hot" part) on my FF page! So judging by that date...i should be prego by July...that would put me at an EDD in April...but hopefully we will find out in April..which would mean I would conceive this month. Still doing the no med thing...haven't even tried to find a new doctor yet. It's the first time I have ever had to "choose" my own doctor and I don't the know the way to go about it?!?! Oh...so back to Cheri's reading - she said the HE will have a little hair when born and will be a little longer than average (DH is 6'2" - never told her that). She also said that she sees him working with wood/cabinets (DH works in construction - never told her that either!). He will be very patient (like his dad) and will not be one to argue. She also said she sees him getting married closer to the age of 28 - and he will have 3 children of his own....2 daughters and one son. She said a lot of other things too but those were the things that really stood out to me! So I'm really hoping this is my month!!! Today is CD3 for me - any cycle buddies out there?! I'm taking progesterone right now...have been for 4 days now, I think. So, it's kinda weird to spot already. Don't you think? Or is it normal to spot on progesterone? Just curious... Well, talk to ya girls! And, wanta - hey! Most of us haven't been pg, so we can't necessarily answer your ?s. | Answer: hi ladies. nurse called me and said that my betas on the day of the test (cd32) was 176. I was a little upset about that. i asked if that was a little low and she said yes. SO i went back in for my repeat test and i should know tomorrow how the numbers rose. Im feeling extra hormonal about it all..... besides the fact i just sat in the waiting room for an HOUR before i got up and asked why its taking so long just to draw blood!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh, im frustrated. I sure hope it goes into a good range. 175 is on the very low end..... and id rather be on the high end! So i will post the results tomorrow after lunch. I asked why it took so many days for the original BW and they said it was ALL the prenatal s.... and it takes longer, for whatever reason. So this time, i should have the results in 24 hours. | Answer: sarah - I did some quick research, and that progesterone level does seem low. But, that being said, I would trust your doctor. Obvioulsy, yolu can't always believe what you read on teh internet :) The levels vary A LOT. So, I would trust them. Also, maybe you aren't as far along as you thought??? So, this is what I found..."Progesterone levels for a single baby (ng/ml), Before pregnancy 1 to 28, Conception to 12 weeks 9 to 47, 12 to 28 weeks 17 to 146, 28 weeks till birth 55 to 200." I don't want you to be nervous...but, I may ? your doc again about the levels and see if you can maybe get some extra progesterone to take to help aid your pg. GL to you!!

| Answer: anon: lol honestly i didn't know opk's were affected by trigger shots. as i've said numerous times before, i've never gotten this far before. the other cycles of clomid only had my follicles at 8mm at the biggest so i'm quite new to this part of it. and yes, i had 2 follicles ready for ovulation, but one of them was 32mm so i don't think that one was good. so pretty much i only had one. my ob/gyn told us to bd every other night, so i'll blindly follow her advice lol. and my question was whether or not the trigger shot forces the ovulation and if it fails very often. i had a LOT of pain, however, the day after the shot and a little into the morning after that, so hopefully that was it doing it's job. ack! i was so confident up until now, now that i'm in uncharted territory lol. **sarah** if i remember correctly there have been a few ladies on this board who had low initial beta levels and went on to have healthy babies. don't worry yourself too much. just enjoy and worry when you really need to. = |
| Answer: Congrats PL and Sarah! It is good to see some BFP's! It encourages all of us to keep going. As for me, my last cycle (2nd clomid cycle) was only 20 days on the 50mg days 5-9. I am pretty sure I didn't ovulate. I asked my Doc if I can take 100mg this cycle and he said it's up to me and warned me about the risks of cysts and having multiples. The multiples doesn't bother me so much, but don't want to get cysts. What dosage are you all on, and has anyone had cysts from the clomid? I'm supposed to start taking the clomid tomorrow and don't know what to do. Thanks! = |
| Answer: I just posted and nothing happened...so here it is again. Congrats PL and Sarah! The good news is so inspiring to keep trying. As for me, my second round of clomid 50mg (days 5-9) ended w/ a 20 day cycle and no o. My doc. said I could take 100mg if I wanted by warned me of the increased risks of getting cysts and having multiples. The multiple thing doesn't bother me, but the cyst thing does. What dosage are you all on and has anyone got cysts from clomid 100mg? I am supposed to start w/ it tomorrow and don't know what to do. Thanks! = |

| Answer: lol jill, that's happened to me too. i was like "i have no multiple posts!" and then put a 2 after it and saw two posts lol. anyway, i am on my 3rd cycle of clomid and am at 150mg and i had a follicle that was borderline cystic. but if you are not ovulating, then maybe your follicles aren't growing enough and the 100mg would be fine. do they do ultrasounds to check? = |
| Answer: No ultrasounds. My insurance doesn't cover fertility. I think I o'd the first cycle (according to temps and OPK), but not the 2nd. I think I'll take 100mg this cycle and then maybe take a break after that if it doesn't work. = |
| Answer: yes, but if you aren't ovulating on your own, then technically it isn't fertility. they are trying to get you to ovulate. women can be on clomid and not be trying for a baby. loophole baby loophole lol. = |

I realize that your drs office may have hired some new people, so I wouldn't hesitate to ask to specifically speak to your doc to make sure you're getting accurate information. It sounds like she got quite detailed DJ--Did you just pay the basic 8 for all that info? I should know by Friday. Do we know for sure if the month she gives us (April for me) means? Does it mean when we will conceive or when the due date is? **Jill** I did not get cysts on 100 mg, but I know this can vary. I also did not have a lot of side effects.... my insurance doesn't cover fertility drugs, like clomid, but it did cover a blood test to see if Iwas ovulating... maybe you can look into that to at least alleviate your mind? **DJ** I am 6 DPO. I am planning to test March 15-which will be 17 dpo... if I can wait that long!! | Answer: Hi everyone, since I got BFP, maybe I should quickly tell all the new comers my story. Dh & I started TTC Feb 2006, fell preggie in Oct, but MC just 2 weeks later in Nov, I was only 1 week + into my pregnancy. Rest for 3 months & started TTC again in Feb 2007. Jun 2007, a fren recommended me to Fertility Care, doc found out I'm not O every month, irregular cycle can be up to 60+ days. Started on 50mg clomid (5 days)& Progesterone pastries in Aug until Nov, but only successfully O'ed once in Sept, dr up my dosage to 100mg (5 days), with new medication, Naltrexone & Vit B6 in Dec, O'ed cd26. Same medication in Jan, first day of af started on 26/1, O'ed around cd 19, BFP on cd 39. Therefore we have been TTC for almost 2 yrs :) = |

I was so excited that I wanted to make dh come look--but decided that wouldn't be too nice. Today seems to be my o day (CD 12)--temp dropped and is going back up, +opk, EWCM, and a small amount of pinkish tint. Sorry, just excited. | Answer: ok so yeah nothing much here. i still get 2 lines on my opk's. ( i bought 50. i have some to waste lol) and i'm still getting faint positives on pg tests. (good ol dollar store to curb the poas cravings lol) no signs of anything really. bb's aren't sore at all, for once in my life. i do think i am coming down with a cold though. if i'm not pregnant, i really don't mind. it turns out the job my husband and i went all out for didn't pan out. they told him they couldn't hire him now and probably wouldn't be hiring until may. so that means we gave up a guaranteed job for this chance, and wow that was a bad gamble. i'm gonna go pity myself with some chocolate pretzel flipz lol. = |
