Hello...just want to know what cd you o'd and how did you monitor yourself? ie. o sticks or bbt? I'm on cd13 and feel like I might have missed it!! thanks ↓
Hey there. I concieved 3 times with clomid (one singleton, one miscarriage and a set of twins - now 9 weeks old). I ovulated late, day 19 usually and I found that O sticks predicted better than the digital fertility monitors. Good luck!!!! ↑
Hi I'm on clomid 50 mgs first cycle since I've had surgery for scar tissue on my tubes.I'm pretty sure that I ovulated on cd 17. Reason for that is I've been using to opk starting on 11-20 everyday and got a faint line on the surge part you could not see, and that friday the 25th at 11pm I noticed that my cm was like egg whites and have been cramping like I'm getting AF so I took a opk and had to DARK LINES so I'm pretty sure I ovualted. I will have to wait about 3 weeks to see if I'm pregnant. Baby Dust** ↑
hello , i am going to have a tubal reversal in march. if everything comes out ok i would like to start taking clomid. how long ago did you get surgery on your tubes before taking clomid? ↑

Hi, I started with clomid last month for the first time, 50mg days 3-7, than had U/S day 12 and my doctor said I had 2 large eggs from both sides, 23 and 24mm and Im was just about to ovulate.That day and next one I had strong pain comming from both ovaries, so probably ovulation occured 13 or 14.After that I had not pain at all, but not being lucky to get pregnant.Today is my day 8 and Im on secon round but with 100mg fertomid and Im wandering what will happend.Will start test OPK tomorrow.Baby dust to all. ↑

i normally ovulate around days 14-16 but with clomid i noticed i ovulated later on cd 18 or cd 19...i used opk's...which showed up stronlgy positve for 2 full days and one half day!i bd'd 3 days prior to the positive OPK and the first 2 days of the positive OPK and then again 2 days after the possible ovulation!!! i am now pregnant with a singleton....and am 10 weeks along..so far so good...
i think you should still keep taking OPK's or temp readings until at least cd 23....you may still O if you feel you haven't found it yet...good luck!!! ↑
hi, i am new to this board and it has been very helpful reading all your stories and knowing your not alone out there.I have been on clomid for 4 months now along with metformin. Im up to 150mg of clomid i just had a hsg done last week and my tubes are open! I went to the doctor yesterday to have a ultrasound and i have 3 mature eggs, i got my blood levels back today and they are higher than they have been yet. they are 640 which is realy good. im realy keeping my fingers crossed that this will be the month! it is true that you have a higher chance of becoming pregant after a hsg? If anyone has went threw anything similiar or if you have any comments i would love to hear them. thanks and best of wishes to all of you!!! ↑
Hi everyone..I'm new. I'm on CD 3 and will be starting on Clomid 50 mg tonight. Days 3-7. I'm taking it at night to hopefully keep the side effects at bay. I was also wondering what day to expect O, if it occurs.
I have irregular cycles, but when I do O, it's usually around CD 14,15 or 16, which would be pretty average, I guess. The doc just said to starting testing on CD 8 until I get a pos. O test....so, we'll see what happens. I'm only going to TTC this month and next and if not preggo by then wait until the summer. Call me silly, but I don't want to have a baby around Holiday time because everything is chaotic enough that time of year. ↑
Hey girlls, Today is my CD 13 and OPK test shows two faint lines so probably I'll ovulate within 1,2 or 3 days.This is my second round on clomid but this time 100mg.No to many side effects and I'll have no idea how many follies I'll have this time.Will let you know. Baby dust to all. ↑
I didn't ovulate until day 16. I was feeling the same way (thinking I had missed it) and then, boom, LH surge! By the way, I had a great deal of discomfort the day I ovulated and the day after. Has anyone else had this experience with clomid? ↑
I had lh surge day 13, 14 and 15 very faint line in the morning.Had a lots of pain in my ovaries so at list know fertomid worked for me.Specialy right side was sooo painfull and I had painfull intercourse for 3 days.Today is my day 16 and have no pain any more.Im just wondering have I had 1,2 or 3 eggs, becouse compering clomid cycle one, this one is round two, had pain and 2 follies, mature.Second round ive used 100mg fertomid and had double pain than last time.Now, Im just hopping and praying this time to be lucky.If not, we are thinking next month IUI or stright IVF.Do you think girlls, if you have more than one eggs you may ovulate at different days? ↑
Hi girls. Today is CD 9 for me. I was on Clomid (first round) 50 mg. CD 3-7. I had a couple minor headaches and a hot flash or two, but other than that-no side effects. I have a saliva ovulation tester...has anyone heard of them.?... a couple of months ago, I thought I was O'ing, but would never getting a pos o test, so I bought one. It will show a fern pattern under a microscope when you are close (1-2 days before) ovualtion. I tested on CD 7 am, just for the heck of it....and it was showed ferns like crazy! Still today...complete fern pattern, but I took a regular O test and again....one line fainter than the other. I'm kinda confused. My Dr. didn't really tell me when I should O, just that it might be late...but this is VERY early...Anyone start O'ing as soon as you finished? Also-I've had no O cramps or anything....if anyone can offer some advice, that would be great. Thanks. ↑
Natalie, I think you tested too early.Many web sites said if you taking clomid you shoul at list 3 days avoid after last pill to test OPK becose it can give false positive result.I'm taking clomid days 3-7, this was my secound round, and first month I had OPK positive at CD 12, this month CD 13 and it probably stayes for 1 or 2 days.On clomid instraction they said tha we ovulate 5-12 days after last clomid pill.As well I'm using maybe baby silava microscop, and it can give as well false result becouse estrogen level may be different as hormons works under clomid.Anyway, try BD even now, but definitlley test again next days to see if again positive.Good luck! ↑
Thank you so much, Lilly! My doc just said to start testing from CD 8 or 9 until I got a pos. I guess I just jumped the gun....glad to know someone else is in the same boat. Will your doseage be bumped up next cycle if you don't conceive? I'm not sure why he started me at CD3-7, but next cycle he will switch me to CD 5-9 at 100 mg...hoping this first time is the charm! Natalie, Im on clomid days 3-7, 100mg, and honeslty should take just 50mg like my doctor prescribed me.Im naturaly ovulating, I have no unknown fertility problem, and just becose TTC since last june.In oct/nov. had M/C so without lettin know my doctor Im risking.Dont think I'll take more than 100mg chanses are allmost the same with 150mg and I had a lots of pain CD 13, 14 and morning 15, when suddenly I felt relife, no pain at all.Probably I ovulated and now waiting to see what will happend.Good luck to you and all girlls who TTC. ↑

Lilly-so you should be able to test in, like....a week or so? Just guessing....what days did you BD? Also, My doc said the chances of having twins on clomid were only minimally higher then conceiving them naturally, but I'm getting a bit nervous, as there does seem to be a LOT of women on this site that concieved twins on this med. Does anyone else share this concern? I just keep telling myself, if we do get preggo, God will not give me something I cannot handle. I am continueing to take my pre-natal vit. every nite along with x-tra folic acid, calcium/magnesium, B6 ,and a baby aspirin and mucinex since CD8....does anyone know long long I should continue to take the baby aspirin and mucinex? I'm guessing just till a few days after O...Doc told me when to start...but not when to stop. Baby dust and all of us! ↑
Natalie, I had Robbitussin wich contain mucinex too, on the first day after last clomid pills and the last I had was day 17 after I ovulated, every 8h.In Australia Baby aspirin is conected, my doctor said, with M/C so I didnt take any, becouse I think hi is right, last time I was taking aspirin when M/C.Asked chemist too and had the same answer.Pre natal vitamins are good Im takin Elevit, vitamin B and fish oil.As well BEFORE ovulation started on CD1 red rasberries tea and a LAST CUP I had when my OPK was positive with two faint lines.You must test twice per day.Baby siliva monitor can give sometimes false result even efter ovulation towards AF, wich is confusing.So more trust in OPK is more accurate.I know that many women conceived twins but more wouldnt conceive more than singlets.I think that more other injectible fertility medicine can couse multypilie pregnancy than clomid.Yes, Im nervouse too and Im not too far to do test.I have appoint.to see my doctor on 03 feb, would like blood test, becouse last time my PT wasnt showed any positive results and I bee pregnant.BD I had on days 13,15 and 16 and every second day after AF and after O.Today is 21 CD.Dont know if God will help me this time becose I can do enything more.Good luck Natalie, hope you'll have positive results soon and go for it!How are you?God bless you and all ather girlls, baby dust to all. ↑
Hi everyone- I am new to this board. I am on clomid for days 5-9 with 100mg this month and next month my doc. said to go to 50mg on those days because I am already ovulating. DH and I have been ttc for almost a year and have both gone through tests in which they come up with "unexplined infertility". Today is cd 9 so I will be using the OPK's either tomarrow or the next day. I hope this is my month!!! Baby dust to all! ↑
Welcome Andrea....hope you find this thread supportive as many of us do. OK everyone, Yesterday evening at 6pm, I did a OPT and got a STRONG POS! Took another at 10;30pm, same result and another at 6:30 am with the same results as well. I have never gotten a line that dark. We BD last night and will tonight and for the next 2 nites after that. But I'm a little confused.....when I do O, which is irregularly, I can tell. I have bad cramps and feel bloated. A couple of months ago, I O'd and could barely stand up straight and I WAS NOT on Clomid then. But this time (this is CD 13 for me at 50mg clomid days 3-7) I barely felt anything. A few VERY minor cramps in my back and a few up front. Also, I was a little bloated last nite, but not bad. I'm kind of confused because not only was I expecting to O later than normal-not sooner-I also expected to have some definite side effects as far as abdominal pain or moodiness. But I feel really great. Has anyone has these reactions to Clomid??? I'm starting to wonder if it really working.....HELP! ↑
Hi Andrea, wellcome, I will say the same problem is mine unexpl.inferty.becose TTC since last june.Ovulating naturaly, had all tests done, my boyfriend too, U/S a few times, HSG, and no pregnant yet.Had M/C in novembar, chromosoms ok.So I'm on clomid too now.Today is CD22 and have no any signs of pregnancy.Wish you good like with OPK and O, hope you'll get pregnant this month.Natalie, I heard from doctors and red on websites, that huge % ladies have painfull ovulation every 3-4 months and there is nothing wrong with it.Like every month PMS or period is slightly different.So it is natural.Just follow your OPK and have BD, doesent metter if you had no side effects, I had no to many on 50mg last month, but this time 100mg had pain for 2,5 days 13,14,15 morning and I could feel O.Probably your body likes clomid and not reacting too much.I have appointement to see doctor on monday Blood PT for begining of feb.and to see what to do next, maybe IUI or IVF cose cant wait too long.Some doctors in australia will say that if clomid not effective within 3 months, any other taking is waisted time, so need some other solution then it more help than clomid can give.All the best to you girlls, get pregnant soon, baby dust to allllllllll. ↑
I am on cd 10 now and had my blood drawn this morning. I am having cramps in my lower abdomen. I used an OPK today and I have not reached my LH surge...but I think it's too early. I hope this is my month!! I have waited so long... ↑
Hi girls...well, I spoke too soon. After I got DARK pos opk on Thurs nite and Fri morning, I started having cramps (like bad AF cramps) early Fri afternoon and into the evening. They Lasted a long time. Bloating also. We BD last nite and it was a little painful, but not bad. This AM, bloating gone, but still some cramps. I took another opk at 11:30 yesterday morning-strong + and then again last nite and got a pos, but not as dark of a line. This AM, still pos, but again, not as dark. So, do you girls think I O'd yesterday or today? Do you only get the strong + when you're ABOUT to O or can you still have a Strong + when you are actually o'ing???? I guess these are things I should have thought to ask my Doc. I am really hoping this works for us this month. Lilly-I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Andrea-I am hoping that you O any day now...keep us up to date, everyone ↑
