Hi wannabemom, I know how you feel. My temps are finally on the rise. I'm finally up to 97.65 today (cd 52). I've had a positive opk for the past 4 nights in a row but the last two were darker than the control lines so I'm assuming I'm ovulating now. Cm is in the fertile stage. I have to admit this is the longest I've ever had to wait. That's what I get for taking clomid. This will be my 5th month ttc. I know it will be worth it once I get pregnant. Don't give up!! Good luck & lots of ~*~*Babbydust*~*~

thanks for your comment, i guess this is what i get for taking clomid also (smile), i'm just a thought away from giving up, but i guess if you can wait 52 days than thats enough motivation for me to keep going. good luck and lots of ++++++++ and baby dust

Hi all-this was my month. I got pregnant and am now in week 6 and thank you all for the support. Wanted to let everyone know that I got pregnant on my third (and last) round of clomid 50 mg . Second iui. I had heard that most women conceive on Clomid within 3-4 months and thats exactly what happened for me. I really didn't think it would work if it didn't work right away-but have patience. good luck lilly! baby dust to all.

Hi:
I am a little nervous today. I woke up this morning and just did not feel as pregnant as the past week. I am 5 weeks and 3 days today. I guess my boobs feel less sore and I am not gassy. Does anyone know if pregnancy symptons can come and go? I hope to God I am not headed for another heartache. My doctor did not see the need to see me because I am not bleeding or cramping. I just feel different.

Name: lilly2 | Date: Apr 17th, 2006 9:03 PM
Terese, i had symptoms off and on, now i feel very nauseous, sore breasts, cant sleep, food cravings...I think it is too early for to heavy symptoms and when yours hormons start to rise, you will feel more pregnant.Or you are just lucky one not to have hard symptoms.

Name: terese | Date: Apr 17th, 2006 9:34 PM
Thank you so much Lilly. I do notice that the breast soreness is more at night and not as much in the morning-so maybe that is all. Thanks so much for the support!

Hey everyone...congrats to all who are pregnant! I am on cd17...I got 2 positive OPK's yesterday (cd16) and negatives the day before and today...so I guess I ovulated recently...or I hope. I did not ovulate with first Clomid cycle 50mg. We BD'd cd 12, 14, 15 and today cd17. I hope this is the month for us! I am on Clomid cd 5-9 (2nd round) at 100mg and I also take Prometrium to induce periods. Baby dust to all!

Good luck BabyDreams26 and to all TTC ladies:)
I haven't luck two round with clomid 5-9 days,BD on ovulated days, after and before and no prego at all/

Name: terese | Date: Apr 18th, 2006 10:05 AM
H i bella:

I did not get pregnant with clomid until the third round (i also took it on the night of cd 4 through the night of cd 8 on the third round) even though it was prescribed on cd 5-9. i actually had one follicle at 23 and one at 15 on that round as a result so i don't recommend it-although both did ovulate and i did get pregnant.

I also recommend combining iui with clomid if you can afford it. You should also bed three days before the iui and one day after.

Well...I guess my 2ww has officially begun...I am cd18...not really feeling any different than normal. I go in for bloodwork and Clomid check on the 24th (cd24 for me). I am hoping I start seeing some different symtoms soon! This 2 week thing is going to be hard :) Baby dust to all and good luck, ladies! Bellla...if this cycle doesn't work I will be starting my 3rd round of Clomid in a few weeks...

hey everyone. We've been ttc for . .. 5 years. I was diagnosed in sept. with PCOS. I do not have AF unless I am on bc pills, therefore my doctor gave me a medroxyprogesterone to start my AF, then I took clomid on cd 3-7. I got a set of opk's, and I O'd on cd 17. we bd'd, on the 13, 15, 17, 18th. Around cd 20, I had a white creamy discharge, that quit as quickly as it began. today is cd 24, it will be cd 25 in 30 minutes. When do you think I will be able to do a hpt? I have alot of symptoms, but I don't know if they are real or not. The biggest are the discharge, and sore breasts. I don't know if that's b/c I am going to get af or if it's b/c I am pg. Anyways, the doctor said to expect my af on cd days 27-30, and if no af by cd 35, to make an appt for a pg test and ultrasound. What do you guys think?

Alisa D...good luck and baby dust! I am cd20 and I think 4dpo. My nipples are still slightly sore and my bb's are a little tender (generalized). I really never have tender bb's even with AF. I am hoping this means a BFP!!! This 2ww is terrible...I want to know now if I am or not! I am not sure when I should test either...maybe I will wait until 10dpo at least...

Name: AlisaD | Date: Apr 22nd, 2006 12:52 AM
I know how you feel. The wait is absolutely killing me. I am on cd 26, 9dpo. The doctor said that I should expect AF on days 27-30, but that doesn't make any sense to me. I thought it was 14 dpo, which would make it cd31? The suspense is driving me crazy. I am ovulating I know that. I took my OPT strips like I was supposed to and I ovulated on cd 17. I have broke down and pg tested 2 times already, but it's still too early, so they were both negative, I just can't take this waiting game. AAHHH!!!

Name: BabyDreams26 | Date: Apr 22nd, 2006 11:46 AM
I am pretty sure I ovulated on cd17 too. My AF is due the 28th...which would be cd28 for me. My nipples are less sore now and the only other things are my temp is a little higher than it usually is...last night it was 99.2! I don't feel like I am getting sick or anything, so I hope this is a good sign...and I am tired (but that isn't that unusual for me...I love my sleep!). Good luck to you...I hope we both get BFP's soon!! I pray this is the cycle for us! Baby dust...

Hi Alisa and Babydreams: I am 6 weeks 2 days pregnant and I'll tell you how the symptoms went for me both times I was pregnant and how everyone I have ever talked to told me how it went for them. I did not feel anything until cd 24 and it was only fatigue. By cd 26 I felt the pulling and cramping of implantation. On cd 28-the fatigue was real bad for a week. I personally did not get really sore boobs until I was almost 6 weeks. And then they blew up in two days like balloons. I have no signs of morning sickness because I eat a very well balanced healthy diet. but I'm sure it will come. People already started asking me if I'm pregnant and I am pretty petite person. so really the symptons don't really kick in until 2 weeks after conception and everything is different.so-baby dust to you both. i hope everything works out for you soon and I know that it will.

Hello all, I have just finished my first round of clomid 150mg cd 3-7. According to the OPK I ovulated cd 12-16?? (the lines were exactly the same color, not one light and one dark). According to my cervical mucus I O’d on cd 18. On cd 19 AF showed up! I am on clomid because my “monthly visitor” does not show up on a regular basis but for the most part it is about 33+ days (ranges from 28 – 40). My doctor is not monitoring me. He basically gave me the prescription and said have fun. I had some pretty bad cramping on day 18 (obviously because AF – but that was the only side effect) but I am wondering if anyone might have an idea of what might be going on. Why did AF show up the day after O, and why I had such a short cycle. Should I consider day 19 as day 1 and start over or wait until next month? Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks for any help, I feel like an idiot calling my doctor. (he's really old school and kind of creepy. but unless I drive an hour and a half in one direction...he is my only option. - very small town)

Hi mommyx:

I was on Clomid for 1 cycle unmonitored and then I went to a fertility specialist who monitored me. if you are not ovulating on predicatable days let me tell you how a doctor can monitor you...they will do an ultrasound on cd 12 to see the size of your egg. if it is between 18-25 mm they will give you an hcg shot and this will make you ovulate within 36 hours. that way you can time intercourse or an insemination for a successful fertilization. it worked the second time for me. Also, you had your AF so early because you took the clomid on cd 3-7. taking it on those days makes you grow more eggs but you have af early-and if your eggs are released on cd 18 or 19 I don't think they could have grown to mature size for a successful fertilzation. also usually people take it on those days if they don't ovulate at all. maybe you should talk to your doctor about taking it cd 5-9. (or get a new doctor that will monitor you)- I went to a fertility specialist and the whole procedure (,minus the inseminations) cost $136 for the ultrasound and $60 for the hcg shot prescription. also i had longer cycles when i took clomid cd 5-9 (i went from a 26 day cycle to a 28 day cycle). Good luck! Alot of obs are too busy delivering babies to deal with infertility issues...if you go to an infertility specialist.-someone who only does infertility treatments-.you are guaranteed proper treatment
