Hi there, I am a 26 y/o diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure about 11 years ago. I was given a 5% chance at spontaneous ovulation. Recently I have been feeling symptoms of pregnancy like bag heartburn, back pain, yeast infection, sensitivity to smells, strange feelings in my abdomen, etc. I took an hpt (generic brand from Target) on Tuesday night and got a very faint blue positive line immediately. I then took another one a few hours later and it was negative. I went to the doc yesterday and did a urine test there...also negative and did two more tests (1 last night and a digital ept this morning)...both were negative. My doc took blood so I will get the result of that on Monday. My question is, has this happened to anyone else? Am I just wishing myself pregnant? I have heard a line is a line and it means you're pregnant but now I don't know what to think. ↓

I am so sorry you are suffering with infertility! I have two friends who dearly want a baby and just can't concieve. I am sorry to say that what you saw could have just been an evaporation line or something. A false positive is almost impossible but it has happened before. It could be that your levels just haven't risen enough and the first test you took was more sensitive but not likely with 3 negatives. Wait for the blood test it will give you a for sure answer. ↑
