seasonique.com tells you that breakthrough bleeding is common to begin with. The pill itself will not affect the accuracy of a pregnancy test. Take another test after a week has passed, just to double check. Good luck! ↑
The pill can not interfere with the results of the pregnancy test. Your body may just need more time to adjust to the hormones in the pill & as your preg test was neg I would say the nausea could very well be caused from the hormones. ANY medication designed to stop periods or give you less, come with the risk of break through bleeding. I was on the depo shot a few years back & it was terrible (for me), I had spotting most days & then a VERY heavy period that almost lasted for 2wks. I was surprised as my sister had never had any problems (except occasional spotting), but the doctor said that some women take to certain bc & others don't. Take another test in a week if your still concerned & if your body doesn't adjust to the bc soon & your symptoms persist, tell your doctor. ↑
I used seasonique for 6 months, and had all of those symptoms for the entire time(except when I had my period) At that point, my dh and I decided to start ttc, but my dr said symptoms should have declined over time if I had continued to take it. If you continue to have those problems, should talk to whoever presribed the seasonique, and discuss if you need to change types of pills. Good luck! ↑
Most likely your body is just adjusting to the pill. You should be careful and use a second form of protection at least the first month. Most likely it wont take affect in 1 week. I hope your Dr. told you this (or the pharmasist), if not I advise using condoms at least the first month. ↑
