Faint Positive
Name: E586467
Question: Ok I had to share with someone. I tested this morning & got a very faint positive, so I tested twice more to make sure and got another 2 very faint pos within the time frame. I'm busting to tell someone as my husband's birthday is on the 8th & I'm trying really hard to keep it a secret & make it part of his present. This will be our 3rd child & I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to confirm with a blood test. Anyway had to tell someone so fingers crossed I am & that I can keep it from him til his b'day. ?

Answer: Hey thanks for the congrats. I just got the blood test done & they said they would put a rush on it so I could find out hopefully before the weekend (plus they didn't have too many other bloods to process) so here's hoping the results come back soon. Baby dust too all! :) =

Answer: I got the results of the blood test back & YES I'm pregnant. I have no idea how I'm going to keep this a secret, especially as my 3yr dd was present for the bloodtest & for the last week she has been saying 'baby in there' & rubbing my tummy. It's almost like she knew before I even suspected lol. I should have KNOWN I am as I'm still breastfeeding my 11mth ds & even he's been acting a little strange - wanting but at the same time not really wanting the boob, extremely clingy etc. Anyway I'm soooo glad I can tell someone. Baby dust to all & I'm sure I'll be posting HEAPS more just to keep my sanity until I can finally tell ds :) =

Answer: Yeh it's funny how kids & animals seem to know. I also have to staffys & both have been acting strange. Lillybug I'll keep my fingers crossed that you are preg, my doc told me that false pos are VERY rare so hopefully you are. Krissy68 I was due the day I tested & as my cycle has been strange while bf, dh won't suspect anything (hopefuly) as my period was never predictable. We live in Australia & monday is a public holiday so I have convinced dh to celebrate his b'day early, as he was still planning to work on thursday the 8th. & it works really well as his Mum & Dad are going away the following weekend so he is more than happy to celebrate a little early so we can have a family bbq. So only 2 days to go instead of 6, I'm glad as I'm busting at the seams to tell him. =

Answer: Hi Teddyfinch thanks for the congrats. I must admit I'm soo excited but soo scared at the same time. I know deep down I'll cope fine but just the thought of 3 running a muck is a bit overwhelming at the moment, must be hormones lol. We live in beautiful sunny Queensland about 20mins from Brisbane. What about you? =

Answer: Hi ladies I thought you might like to know how things went. Well it was a perfect surprise. I wrapped up the pos preg test and placed it inside a b'day card the kids & I made ending in 'Love from me, dd, ds & baby (surname)'. He was in shock for starters trying to get his head around what was going on, but then he was soooo happy he said it was the best b'day surprise EVER, & was grateful I made him celebrate a little early. Anyway thanks for your congrats & helping keep me sane while I waited to tell him. =

Answer: sibling4aidan thanks for the congrats & thanks for your kind words in my other post, are you preg or trying? Teddyfinch have you only been to newcastle? I would love to travel overseas one day (or at least have a decent holiday) but with running our own business it's impossible to at the moment.  =

Answer: Hi sibling4aidan sorry to hear about your m/c. I hope you get preg soon & it sticks. When I was trying to conceive my now 11mth ds I used an ovulation microscope. I found it very easy to use & pinpointed ov perfectly & got the boy we were trying for. Just google it for more info. Teddyfinch it's funny I've always wanted to go to hawaii but I guess at this rate I'll have to wait until the kids leave home, lol.  =
