Faint pink line???
Name: anbaby21
Question: So I took the first response test and I got a faint pink line next to the dark one that shows the test worked. Then the next day I took another test and got a negative. Is the first test right or the second test? I've been peeing alot more lately, have low back pains, and have had heartburn worse then usual.  ?

Answer: You really should wait a couple more days and then test again... I hope it wasn't a chemical. =

Answer: a chemical pregnancy? I looked that up and it says it happens before your missed period. I'm going on 6 days late now.... Is that still possible?  =

Answer: I don't know the answer to that question. Why don't you test again with First Response in the morning with FMU and see what you get? I do know that it is very likely that you could get a false negative, however it is not very likely at all that you would get a false positive, as long as the test was read within the time limit. I didn't mean to worry you. Make sure you are only testing in the mornings with first morning urine. Let me know what happens. Good luck. =

Answer: My suggestion would be to get a clear blue easy test, this will say pregnant or not pregnant, removes any room for error, good luck! =

Answer: The second one could have just been because your urine was more diluted than the first time. I would definitely test again with a First Response and first morning urine. That should give you the answer you need, or you could try holding your pee in for 4 hours with minimal to no liquid intake, then test, if the whole FMU thing doesnt work out for some reason or another (read- i.e.kid screaming for attention, major poopy diaper situation etc... =

Answer: Yup use first morning urine! Some test have defects on them. I got a faint positive on a First Response but turns out that it was a colored evap line that appeared before the test time was over. Weird, but I love these test and they are good for being reliable. Good Luck, and tell us how you make out =

Answer: google it to get best answer, but it happened to me and my OBGYN said that its when you get pregnant but the egg doesn't attach its self and there fore you "miscarry" but all this happens between 1dpo and 10 dpo so its happening before you actually get you expected period. When you lost a baby after a missed period they call it a miscarriage, but anything before 14dpo is usually considered chemical pregnancy. The baby never forms and never attaches itsself to your uterus =

Answer: So thanks everyone for your replies, I'm actually going on a month late now. I've kinda just waited it out to see and so far still no period. I did go and get a test from Planned Parenthood because I have a friend that works there and gave me one so I'm planning on taking that in the next couple of days if I still don't start.... It just doesn't make sense why I'm a month late....  =
