Hello. I am new here ;-) I'm glad I found this site today. My TOM was due 4/04/08. I was all Hubba Hubba The week before on 3/24 - 3/27 ... My Hubby is a truck driver and came home. I have a normal 28/29 day cycle - never late. So after 4/04/08 passed by on the next day I wiped away some pink/brown spotting. Not much at all. Just a wipe. So I automatically thought Implantation bleeding ?!? I've had cramps like I was going to start but never do. On top of that I have developed EXTREME Exhaustion and fatigue, Mood Swings w/crying spells - Head aches - Gas - Constipation - Feeling of bloating - Back pain - Can not sleep - Peeing all day and all night - Been hungrier then usual ... So I finally took a test today and it was negative. Everything in me is screaming YES I AM but the test said No. Is it possible that it may be to early ? I've been reading about different Woman getting positives after 5 weeks - 7 weeks and so on. Some Woman getting a positive much later. I just wanted to share. By my Calculations I am 3 weeks and 3 days late. This is out the ordinary for me. I just dont see what else it could be. I FEEL PREGGERS. I do have 2 other children. But both times I took a test I was 4 and 5 weeks along. The only symptoms I had with them were sore boobs, itchy nipples and just feeling bad and sick on my stomach. We have been trying for 3 years for one more ... so I hope I am right. They say never to ignore your intuition/gut feeling ! I will test again next week I guess. I bought those HCG strips that are suppose to test early trace amounts of hormone. They were cheaper to buy in a bundle ($12.99 for 20 of them) rather then spending a butt load of money on store tests. Plus I have used them before and they work awesome. Just not today !! lol. Answer: So you are working on 4 weeks late? Huh, sometimes it takes hcg a while to build in your system, that could be the case for you. I know what you mean when you say you just know you are pregnant. I knew this time I was because of the similar symptoms to my last pregnancy. I am will be 28 weeks on thursday. Anyway, if I were you I would get in with your OB and ask for a quantitative HCG to find out for sure. HCG builds in the blood stream first and then at some point, which is different for every woman and every pregnancy, it then spills over in to the urine. Also, if you just feel that you are, then maybe buy a box of First Response Early Result. They are the very sensitive, and very reliable. I have never used the cheapies, but I do know that quality relies on how much colloidal gold is in them. I don't know that I would trust a cheapie, just my opinion. Answer: Hi All.
I just wanted to update. Today 5/5/08 would have been time for me to start my next TOM goin by my 18 day cycle. I took a test this morning and it was negative. 10 mintues later I started !!!! MY TOM is here. It really bugs ne that I skipped a whole month with no reason. And then like clock work - it came on today just like it was suppose to. I was a little bummed, but honestly I am happy about knowing. It's the NOT KNOWING that was killing me. Just wanted to update. Good luck to you all and I will still be hanging around ! =
