Question: Do you or have you had Anemia? Or those just pregnant or have been, how tired have you gotten? It's so hard for me to do much of ANYTHING during the day because I'll get exhausted! I feel terrible because I ask my husband to do so much for me but it's like I get light headed near the point of passing out. Oh yeah, I AM anemia I have a blood level of 8.1.. when I was giving birth the nurse said she was surprised I could get up and walk around etc. So anyone going through similar situations? ?

| Answer: I haven't had anemia, and I'm a lot farther along than you... but lately I've been really really exhausted. This afternoon while I was waiting for my prescription to be filled I went out to lunch... All the sudden out of nowhere I feel really dizzy and lightheaded, I get tunnel vision and I feel like I'm going to pass out. My arms and legs got so weak I couldn't even move. Then BOOM! I threw up all over the place, I felt so bad for the poor people sitting next to me trying to eat their lunches having a pregnant woman throwing up in front of them. After that I felt perfectly fine. I don't know if that has anything to do with your situation, but I thought I'd tell you anyway :P = |

| Answer: I'm not actually labeled anemic but my dr. gave me iron pills to take every other day. My levels were 1O.6 and 11 is considered normal so I was just under. I didn't do well with my prenatals in the first tri and they said I could take 2 Flintstones vitamins.....well they didn't have any iron in them and I never bothered to check till my gestational diabetes test came back and my iron was low. So I'd had no extra iron my entire pregnancy. My word of advice would be to make sure your prenatals have iron lol = |

| Answer: i've never been amenic but my cousin was with her first pregnancy and the doctor just gave her iron tablets and she was fine. you should definately ask your husband to help you out more espcially seeing as you already have a toddler to look after as well. i get my partner to help me out as i have been more tired but luckily my other child is now 7 and she is a big help to me. oh and i've also had the eating thing. i went off most foods for about 3 weeks. and i just lived on sandwiches but thankfully i can eat again. oh and congrats on the pregnancy x = |

| Answer: I never had anemia with my pregnancy with my daughter, but my whole first trimester I could barely stay awake I felt sooo tired! this pregnancy so far has been much the same..Best to get it checked out though, although usually they;ll do that for you at your first doctor visit. = |

However i do have to ask, did you have gd with addy? i think i had gd with alexa (the day i went to test AGAIN was the day i was induced) the gd caused me to be super super thirsty and you add that to anemia, and i can imagine you dont want to move about.... good luck!!! and ignore the little child, she just wishes she hadn't shown how immature she was so we wouldn't be calling her out all the time!! = |

| Answer: I hated the GD test... They gave me this bottle and it looked like orange gatorade or something so I was like hmm this might taste good! No... not even close. I almost spit it out, I could barely swallow it I was like gagging trying to. Then the entire hour afterwards I had the worst stomach ache and felt like I was going to throw up. It was like having morning sickness all over again and I hatehatehate morning sickness, I thought I was going to die during my first trimester I had it so bad. Anyway... | Answer: addys i ask because it caused me to get very very dry mouthed all the time, and stay very weak, and i figured if you had that on top of anemia it might explain the extreme exhaustion you have been having. They prolly are going to test you again though, i know around here they will test you for at least your fiorst 2 pregnancies, to make sure that you haven't developed it. I think my GD got so bad that i loved drinking the drink, lol i was so thirsty, and the orange flavor isn't that bad, now the red is disgusting...lol. and i agree addy i want my daughter to grow up to be just like me, otherwise if she were like you, she would be stupid and uneducated, which is not what i would want for any child. Your parents really failed you, they should of tried harder to make sure you didn't grow up to be as dumb as you are....its sad really infact i feel sorry for you. = |

I was like you when I was first on here and people thought I was immature. They were right though. It took me until I was 19 to get pregnant and I'm glad it did because now I'm able to take care of her in a way I couldnt have before. I have everything I did before, a husband, cars, money, house etc but I didnt have the maturity that I would need. Believe me right now you dont sound ready and I hope that you grow up some before you do get pregnant because the way your acting should not be around a child. I'll be 21 soon and it is still hard and I have everything I need to raise her, but my life isnt mine anymore. I love being a mom more then anything but you give up a whole lot when you bring a baby into the world. = |

Let her be and just be happy her children wont be around yours to teach yours the bad things they see their mommy doing, or hear her saying. I know that i am extremely happy about that, i just feel sorry for any child she may have before she is ready... ANGEL- we aren't saying you should NEVER have a child you are misunderstanding us, what we are saying is that yes parenthood is a wonderful thing, but there is no reason to rush it, if you don't have to. I can understand a mistake, but to ttc at such a young age isn't a good plan. I know you are sure you and your "partner" as you have called him, are ready, however why not take this time to enjoy just being together, you DONT need a child to bring the happiness into a relationship, they just add to it, but don't misread and think its all peachy and happy times because it isn't ... i love my dd to pieces but there are always times in raising a child where is seems like the most difficult thing you can do. And NOT to be shallow, but pregnancy takes a huge toll on your body visually as well as other issues... before i had my dd i always had perfect blood pressure, and now i have to take medication every day of my life for high blood pressure due to my pregnancy. being pregnant isn't a walk in the park, yes some woman make it "look" easy i could go out in public and do that too when i was preg, however when i got home i felt like crap... its hard work, no one is saying you CAN'T do it, they are just saying don't RUSH into it, it will come when it comes... and then yes you will have a lot of growing up to do, i think everyone does when they have a child...and no, no one is 100% ready but there is a thing as being better off. Take the time to work with your partner to figure out what kind of parents you want to be, like the rules you will make, and the environment you will show your child... try limiting cursing, and i am not picking on you with that me and dh have had to work on that and our child is already here....if you have any bad habits like smoking or worse, stop them now, work on your diet eating healthy and such, begin taking prenatals to get your body ready, and read as much as you can to prepare you.... then go at it! No no one here can tell you not to have a child, but they can advise you as to whether they think you are ready or not....if you want them to leave you alone, be the bigger person and let them attack you but DONT attack back, doesn't that make more sense? and it will make you look that much more mature.... (do please work on your spelling though...at least use spell check I know attacking your spelling is shallow but still you leave yourself open on that one) = |
| Answer: Not to mention the ppd that you could have. My daughters 9 months and I'm still battling it. It's sooo hard to deal with a screaming crying child when all your doing is crying. Pregnancy is easy compared to that. My husband is there for me every step of the way but even with the perfect support it's still harder then I could imagine. Think about everything before you go ahead with it because alot of things that you think will never happen to you often do and most of the time your not ready to deal with it. I know since I planned my dd that I didnt even think about it but I have it and it's very hard to say the least. = |
| Answer: yep, there are several things that can go wrong, my dd was planned as well, and yet i ended up with preeclampsia, that turned into toxiemia... which is life threatening... and that is why i had to have my dd 2 almost 3 weeks early, i never once thought that could happen to me, infact i had read about it several times, and knew all the symptoms, and yet ignored them when i had them, luckily my dr caught it right at one of my appts but if they hadn't me or my dd might not be here today, and that is quite scary, and like i said i just KNEW it would never happen to me, guess i can eat my words on that one. hey amanda, i had no idea, if you ever need someone to listen or to talk to i am here during the day, tannhubbard at msn . com add me if you wish. = |
| Answer: i do understand what your saying tish, beleive it or not we have talked about how we would like to raise our children we,ve even talked about there futures lol. i did smoke as of 1month ago not long i know but thats why im loosing my temper on here! i has a eating disorder from the age of 16 but have got it undercontrol i weighed 6stone at 5.5 and i know weigh nealry 9stone in the space of 6months or so i take epo prenatle vitimans folic acid and zinc i have my partner also taking vitamins. i may think back in years to come that i was to immature to be ttc but i really feel ready and it will happen when its suposed to but it wont happen without trying............also i know i have made spelling mistakes but its not all because i dont know how to spell i honestly type fast and dont look up so half the time im mising leters ect and also i think you may spell something different to me as i live in the uk?? not sure tho............and amanda17 i know a child will pick up words i use but i wont be using sware words in front of my child. thanks for the advise tish = |
| Answer: i am glad you stopped smoking not just for your future babies health but for your own also if you bf smokes have him stop it can make ttc harder sinfce it can lower his sperm count and motility.... which will make ttc that much harder.... also dont "try" so hard just let it happen, it works better that way, when you put too much stress into it it makes it harder whn you just keep sex fun it makes it better and seems to happen faster.... if you really think you can do it, then gl, just remember it is NOT easy, and it is NOT a walk in the park, it will be one of the hardest things you will do and it is a lifetime committment, not just 18 years lol.... = |

| Answer: summersun if you attend a public school I would start looking into private schools. I'm not sure if it's the same rule everywhere but at the public schools around here they will kick you out when you start to show. It didn't happen to me personally because I go to an independent study school and they are very supportive of me there. The teachers even rotated my schedule around so I can have class at the same time as other teen parents, just to have someone to talk to and relate to when needed. I've had several friends be kicked out of public school for being pregnant and they weren't allowed to go back, they had to transfer to another school after they had their children. So, again, I'm not sure if that's true everywhere but it's something you should look out for. Independent study schools are nice anyways because you only have to go once a week for a half hour, giving you plenty of time for a job and less time away from your kid. They also allow you to take 30 days off for maternity leave if you ask for it. I'm personally not taking it, I'm asking to take my homework assignments with me while I heal, just because I want to graduate as soon as I possibly can. Just a thought, good luck. = |

I feel like fainting nearly ALL THE TIME. I think I need to see a hematologist because I just can't stand it anymore. I need to find out what I can do to help myself. I took two iron pills a day for a year and my blood went from 8.0 to 8.1 so obviously it can't be low iron. Like I said, the nurse was all surprised I could get up and walk around. Independent study is going great for me, and if I don't graduate before she's born (which I probably will but you never know) it won't hold me away from her at all. They let you take your kids to class with you too so I don't have to be away from her :) It's fun, when I'm waiting to talk to my teacher I get to play with the other girls' children. The oldest is only six months old she's adorable! I look forward to going to school just so I can play with all of them. I had bought a pack n' play and realized I already have one (pregnancy brain haha) so I donated it to my school for them to play in. I brought it in last week and they love it. My teacher told me ever since I did that people have been bringing in toys and stuffed animals to put in it :) = |

| Answer: My first pregnancy I wasn't AS tired but I was still tired. I had a higher blood level for my first so I guess that's why :S I haven't even gotten my first appt yet because my doctors can't fit me in until May 22nd which kind of pisses me off but oh well what can I do. But according to my LMP I'm 6 weeks today. Hopefully it will start to wear off a little. When I got further in my pregnancy with my daughter that's what happened... aggghhh. I am going to try to hear more red meats ( which I like but I don't tend to eat a lot of.. I feel bad for the animals.. I'm odd.) and more leafy veggies and dark greens they tend to carry iron -_- even though I DON'T want to.. and I HATE spinach. = |

| Answer: addysmummy urgent care is a section in the hospital that is like the er, but not as busy, and more just to get a dr appt when you can't get one with your dr, you can just walk in, we have those here and places called your docs in, it is like 20 mins in and out, unlike the 8 hours in the er... and look i am NOT TRYING TO START SHIT, but PB the fighting and attacking Angelmonkey is WAY WAY WAY over and done with. if you had read her posts and the posts above yours you would have seen everyone moved on, its old ans stale now, and just like everyone else was eventually allowed to join the darkside, so shall she, she is no diff than you, your ttc and maybe not as old as some people think you should be, but no one is attacking you because it is your life, and well angel is in the same position, ALSO you say that girls that have sex while in school and get preg are whores????
