Hello i am almost 27 weeks and just had a gestational diabetes test they said my test was elevated that they want me to come back and take another test or something. Does anyone have more information about gestational diabetes? Thanx! ↓
hi angel...i know when i was prego with my second baby, my dr said my test came back elevate, and i took another test, and it was fine...gestational diabetes is the same as someone with diabetes except the symptoms only exist while you are prego...you have to watch your sugar and carb intake, and some people have to take oral meds or injections...it really depends. but, i have known many people who have to take the second test and all is well... ↑
Well i had my second test for gestatioanl diabetes and it turns out that i failed the test! Today i am going to meet with a dietician... which sux but i guess i will have to watch what i eat now! ↑
