hi girls. Im just hanging in there over here. Nothing too new. I have an appointment tommarow so we will see what the baby is up to. As far as I can see, It feels to me like its getting alot heavier and Im starting to swell a little. I made myself take it easy this weekend so I dont end up with terrible back pain like the last 2 weekends. So I got a little more baby stuff taken care of and a little bit of Christmas stuff put away. Ill just do a little at a time every weekend. Im really starting to panic that I dont have everything in order for the baby but I cant think of much that I dont have done!!! Im a little crazy. NEsting maybe? In just a few weeks we will have our little pumpkin. I still cant believe it! Im so interested to find out if AF shows Teardrops. hope not! Keep us updated. Tiff, this is your time of year for good baby luck, so keep BDing! Shiner Im so sorry to hear about your hubbys other leg. But on the bright side of things, he will be able to spend more time with that baby when its born(try not to think of the money--I know, easier said than done!) Tory, hows that little baby girl? ARe you breastfeeding? ↑
CJ, glad to hear all is well. I bet your getting excited!!! Yah!! Shiner, sorry about DH agian, that sucks! Teardrops, whats new???? Tori...LOVE Imogens new pics, she is sooooo adorable! Zen, not sure when i will have the HSG. I want to meet w/ a male fertility specialist first, and hear what he says about DH SA. ↑
Hi CJ, yes I am breastfeeding. Why'd you ask? Just curiosity? How was the appointment? When is your due date? Tiff and TearDrops, lets hope this is both your month. It really is your turns!!!!! Shiner, hows hop-along? Hows your little girl? She didn't get hurt too did she? Zanesmom, hows you? Any more news? Hope you are all well. ↑
Hello Ladies. AF came to visit me. Quite a strange cycle last month, almost 40 days long. My leutal phase was 3-4 days longer than usual as well... At least it's nice and long, better than too short. It's really alright I didn't get preggo last month, although I would be the only person in the family with a baby born in September EVER, so that would have been cool. I got a wild hair up my butt and applied for a job a couple of months ago, and they actually hired me last week, so I start next week! I'm pretty excited about it, and I figure the longer I don't have a baby, the longer I can work since once I have one I'm going to be a stay at home mom. So it's a win/win situation for me now. Having a job will give me something to do and make all this waiting for ovulation/testing go by faster. So Tiffany, it's all up to you for this month, I won't ovulate again until February. Good luck girl! How is our new lil Imogen Tori? Is she gainin weight quickly? Still strange having a daughter? lol. I'm so happy for you and your husband. How is her jaundice coming along? Does it take long for her to be rid of it? How are things with you Tiffany? Sorry to hear about your husband's leg Shiner, sounds like something that has happened to me. My husband broke his foot and then his ankle, but it was good in his case because he was in Iraq and that meant he couldn't go out on missions for 2 months which made me VERY happy. I hope he heals quickly, I'm sure this whole work thing is bothering him just as much if not more than you. I hope the best works out for you two soon. You're due in Feb right? And Cjordan Feb??? What about you Zanesmom? Zengirl, when do you OV and test? ↑
Darn it Teardrops! I just checked your FF chart..then came here and read your post. As for me, i can tell AF is on her way..she is due tomorrow or Thursday. URG. Im making an appnt today w/ a fertility specialist. I was gonna wait one more cycle, but decided not to. Im tired of this now, and want to talk w/ the specialist. I called yesterday, just to see if its hard to get in, and i will be able to get an appnt soon, so thats cool. Just have to discuss w/ DH...as he thinks i just need to quite worrying and be patient. Enough is enough!!! ↑
Hey girls...AF showed today. Whats new?! LOL. ANyway, got an appnt w/ a Fertility Specialist (RE) next Tuesday! Maybe they can squeeze me in next week for the HSG, i will be CD7 on tuesday..so i think i have till CD10 to get it done. I hope we can just get it out of the way. ↑
Hi all.We have been away since Sunday. My husband had to go for surgery on his leg about 3 hours away to the city and was just released from the hospital last nite.We stayed over nite as the weather was crappy to drive home.I am exhausted.hubby was in quit abit of pain the last few days and talk about the mood swings.Just snappy one minute and fine the next.Driving me crazy.I guess he will be off for at least another 10 weeks so no chance of him missing the birth of our little one.So I guess i am back to being a ful time servant to him once again and just when I need my rest .Oh well!Sorry for the AF showing up for u 2 girls .Tory hope your little one is sprouting like a weed, lol.Time is a ticking for us next 3 to deliver in the next few weeks. ↑
Hi girls. Sorry to hear about AF Tiff and TEardrops. I can imagine how frustrated you are getting Tiffany, and I would have made that RE appt ASAP too. Why wait right? Tory, yeah, I was just curious about the breasfeeding. I dont know why I asked. I am going to try it too. It will be nice to ask someone questions if I run into problems. You still have to send me some pic of Imogene. I am at charo at email dot com. Unless you already sent some---I havent checked that email in a while. My due date is Feb 12. We are getting closer! Shiner, hope your hubby heals up a bit more before your baby is born so you dont have to take care of 2 babies!! My appointment went good. I was a little nervous because I had to see a male this time bc my dr. was on vacation and I needed the Strep B test. I was just nervous about the rectal swabbing! Ahhhh! It wasnt bad though. I know it was dumb to even think about it, but Im just not used to male dr's, much less having male Dr's deal with my rectum!! Otherwise Im measuring good. I only gained 7 tenths of a pound so that is a sign that baby is ready. Its head is down so its not breech. Thats about it. Im hoping to find out on Monday if the baby is dropping at all yet. I still cant believe this is happening. ..... ↑
hey girls...we are getting way lost at the bottom! Today is my appnt w/ the RE! Im sooo ready to go :-) Will post later today, and let you know how it goes! ↑
Hello ladies!!! Imogen is now 7lb14oz so definitely sprouting like a weed! LOL! CJ, I have breastfed all my babies so feel free to ask any questions you have and I will do my best to help out. I have sent you some pictures too! The jaundice has almoset left her but it is unusual for it to last as long as it has done. Most babies get jaundice - it usually shows around day 3 and goes within a fortnight but I expected it to take longer with her. I am breastfeeding (can sometimes be called breastfeeding jaundice), had cholestasis, she was slightly early and are blood groups are different - I am A - she is O+ and all those can cause jaundice so the fact she has all them against her it is to be expected! Not long now ladies!!! ↑
Tori....your little girl is just way to adorable!!! Well my appnt w/ the RE went wonderful!! I was so impressed w/ the clinic and the doctor i saw. he wants DH to repeat his SA agian, he doesnt think the lab that did his last 2 were accurate. he said his SA was "to good to be true" or 1 in a Million type of result...so he wants their clinic to do the analysis. Its the best reproductive clinic in the NW! So i scheduled an HSG and DG SA on the same day, this friday. The RE actually does the HSG, so thats nice! He did an u/s of my ovaries, and said they looked perfect, w/ lots of follies. So... we will get the test done this Friday, then go from there, depending on the results! I cant beleive CJ, Shiner, and Zanesmom is gonna deliver soon. Its crazy!!!!!! Good Luck!! Cant wait to see pics of the babies! ↑
Hello everyone. Tiffany, that is great news about the RE! Im glad you guys found someone else to help you. Dont you feel a huge burden off your shoulders! Now you will be preggo in no time! Let us know how everything goes on Friday. I will probably log on as soon as I get home from work. Tory, thanks for offering the breastfeeding help. My sisters did but they dont remember as much. It will be nice to ask someone who is doing it right now. And what is a fortnight? Ha ha. Ive heard it in the movies but I dont know how long that is! Imogen is perfect. So tiny! It makes me very anxious to see my munchkin! Zanesmom, any news when you will be delivering?? ↑
Been trying to post all day and the blooming forum hasn't let me! CJ, a fortnight here is 14 days. Ask any questions you have for bf'ing! Tiff, great news on the Doctor who seems to be pro-cative in wanting to get you pregnant! I bet that helps a lot! ↑
Yes, Tori im soooo happy! I cant wait, its SOO my turn soon. I know its gonna happen soon too. I have a good feeling. Ready to get Friday afternoon over with. Not excited for the HSG, but glad it will be done and over w/ soon, and ahead of the game! I will let you all know how it goes Friday! Im sure i will have an appnt about a week after, to go over all the results (DH SA) and where to go from there. I will know right away w/ my HSG. Teardrops..how are things? ↑
Glad to hear Imogen is growing so nicely Tori. Would love to see more pics when you get them! Tiffany, very excited for you finding such a proactive RE. I agree, it's way passed your turn so it's time for you to take it!!! With all of these tests, you should be pregnant lickity split! Cjordan, Zanesmom, and Shiner, how are things going? What are our new deadlines for these bouncing bundles of joy? I can't wait to find out what you're having Cjordan, are you hoping more for a boy or a girl or just glad to have a healthy little one? ↑
Zen...yep, ready to get the show on the road! Im anxious for DH's SA results...since the RE didnt trust his last 2. Once we get that..and my HSG results (tomorrow), then we will come up w/ a plan. IF all is normal, i think he will want us to try a big longer, since the HSG makes you more fertile for a few months. If abnormal...then we will discuss whats next! Curious, did your post coital test hurt? ↑
oh. gosh no. it started similar to a pap smear and literally she took a few swabs and that was it! she went to the lab to see what she got and we got the results right away... super easy. one nurse tried to talk us out of it..saying most people don't need one done, but since i have always wondered about the hostile mucous thing i did it and i am glad i did!! the HSG was no big deal either. i took some tylenol a couple of hours before the surgery and it was over quickly. she saw the polyp right away and told me to plan for the hysteroscopy. the labs came back of what they removed and all was fine. nothing to worry about :)) Good luck to you tomorrow? ↑
Zen, oh i thought it was that test where they get the sample after you and DH BD. So it was just a sample of your CM? I dont have that in my action plan, i was just curious tho. Thanks..im ready for answers!! I keep hearing diff things about the HSG, about it hurting. Honestly im not that worried...since my RE is doing it. Plus i will take my advil and xanax LOL!! That will help calm my nerves. ↑
TIFFANY- you are correct about the post coital test. it was done after we got a positive opk and bd'd the night before. then they take a sample off of your cervix to see who's mingling and who's not down there... my hubby had a great SA but none of the 147 million were swimming the day of the post coital... so the count is great but it really only matters IF they get to their intended destination.. his were not apparently. i think the more tense you are going into the HSG, the more painful it can be. for me it wasn't pain at all. it was pressure...besides.... we are trying to impregnate ourselves with a bowling ball (otherwise known as a baby).... we should see all these tests as practice for the real pain, right??..Lol!!! ↑
Zen, thanks for the info, thats very useful! How soon did you BD after the HSG? Mine is tomorrow, CD10. Im sure i will Ov around CD13-14. I want to get started right away! I bought more preseed...hoping that will help the swimmers a bit more. :-) ↑
we bd'd starting on cd12. my HSG was on cd10 as well..she told us to try to seize the month. no need to wait! good luck tomorrow and for this cycle!! :)) ↑
Hey Girls..OMG, The HSG was such a breeze!! I was so nervous for nothing!! My doc was so amazing, i barely felt a thing! It lasted about 3-5min, SO quick! AND tubes are perfeclty clear!! Said everything looked great. At one point i had to turn to my right a little, cause the dye took a couple seconds to fall all the way thru my right tube, but it went just fine. There was a little pressure at the moment, but for the most of it, it was a piece of cake!!!!!!!!
Im ready to get prego soon now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ↑
TIFFANY! yours sounds like it went just like mine (without the polyps of course) so glad it was no big deal for you. i felt a bit of pressure too but no pain. NOW! onto the babymaking for you!!!! ↑
Zen, just curious, how long did you "spot" or leak the dye? I hope to BD tonight :-) Im just SOO happy its done with, and i have a really good feeling something wonderful will happen SOON!!! Its great knowing that im all clear, and "clean" LOL! Im sure you feel the same way after that polyp was removed. I just have a good feeling about TTC now! ↑
Tiffany that is great news! Now its baby dust time! Its the not knowing that kills ya! Now you know you are clear for takeoff! Ha ha. Get them sperms to work! Teardrops, I am hoping for a girl but I have a feeling it is a boy. We will probably have 2 boys since I really want to play dress up and Barbies! thats the way life goes! I will get used to trucks and dinosaurs. But the health of the baby is my main concern. 2 weeks and 2 days now.
Wow, time flies! ↑
TIFFANY- i spotted that yellowish/orangish color (the dye) for about 2-3 days after the HSG. i thought it would go away quicker than it did but it was all done by the time O came around!!!! i so want to see a bfp for you this cycle!!!! ↑
CJ, omg....2 weeks??? CRAZY!! Are you all ready??!! ZEN, thanks for the info. I have been spotting a tiny brown, very very light tho. Not sure if its just old blood, or the dye. Not sure what color the dye was tho, thought it was clear? Good to know you had spotting for a few days. I should be ovulating soon! Yep, hopefully WE both will get our BFPs soon!!! ↑
TIFFANY- that would be the greatest. my af is due, if she dares, on February 5th so IF (super big if) i were to get a bfp i would try (try being the key word) to turn it into some sort of Valentine's surprise for my hubby. :)) ↑
ZEN, good thinking! IF AF decided to show, she would be due around the 12th of Feb. My bday is the 8th (would be the BEST bday gift!) and DH is the 23rd of Feb. I got my peak today, on my Fertility Monitor! So will Ov today or tomorrow :-) ↑
