Hello ladies! How are we all doing? Update so far: Imogen is jaundiced (surprise surprise) but ehr levels have been checked and they are dropping. She is now 10 days old and weighs 6lb12oz (she was 6lb5oz at birth) so she is gaining rapidly - in other words she s getting fat! The Midwife has decided I am feeding her cream instead of milk!!!! Anyway we are all fine this end. How's you lot? Any more testing Tiff or TearDrops? Hows the still pregnant ones? All doing well? I can't wait to see more little ones being born. May your labours be fast and painless! LOL!

Hi Zen! I use the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor. Whats your stats? BFP yet??!!

Name: tiffany79 | Date: Jan 3rd, 2008 2:51 PM
Hey girls. I got DH 2nd SA results. The volume was really low, but we expected that since he didnt have much "stuff"! LOL. PH was high, but other than that, all was normal. His count was really high agian, higher than last time :-). I have my annual exam this month, so will discuss w/ her where to go from here. His volume was low both times, but he really thinks is due to the situation.

Hi all.Well looks like I will have to stay on antibiotics for the rest of my pregnancy. Can not get rid of the bladder infection.I went in today cause i had a sinus cold and the doct. says I have bronchitis.More drugs now.My hubby is still off work since the middle of Nov. and they expect him to off another 2 weeks. At now we finally found a driver for 2 weeks. We lost alot of income with him being down but that is life.Got to visit the loans officer next week.I think I am going to start to get things ready for the baby and get clothes washed up,diaper bags packed and all that stuff.I would rather be ready instead of not incase the baby comes early.Hope all r fine and Tory hope the baby is doing well but by the sounds of it she is,lol.

Hi everyone. WEow, it was quiet in here so far this year! IM glad everything is going great with Imogen Tory! Also so happy to hear that your DH spermies are good Tiff! Now go get on him! Shiner, I know how you feel about getting everything ready early. I have been trying so hard to get everything in order and I feel like there isnt enough time!! We finally got carpet in the babies room on monday. I washed the walls and all the clothes and put some stuff in order. By tuesday my back and legs hurt so bad that I had to take a couple days off the recoup! Now Im back at it again. DH put the rail on upside down on the crib and refuses to fix it! He had such a hard time getting it together. Ah men! Im getting a little paranoid there isnt enough time--between work, baby stuff, and other social activities--this can really wear you down!!! But its all worth it right? Hope all stays well with you guys. Im off to do bills and then back in the babies room! Take care!

Well it is just about 45 min. before midnite here and the baby figures its time to be roudy so I thought I would check on u all.Did some shopping today.Bought some diapers, wipes, grooming things, diaper rash cream, some baby meds. for gas and such, breast pads and infant car seat head support insert.Just a few things for now.Gonna try to to find a dresser for the baby when I go to have my ultra sound done and then I can start washing up some baby clothes and get them put away.Been shopping abit on ebay for clothes, diaper bag and I also got a JJ cole infant car seat insert cover type thing where u do not need the use of blankets.Really
neat.My crib bedding set came in so now will have to get the crib up one day and hang the valances before hubby goes back to work.Cjordan ,I find it hard to do anything without getting played out then again the bronchitis does not help either.Nice to get everything done so we can rest just before the babies arrive.Right now I am having a difficult time trying to find the perfect name for the baby but i guess we still have abit of time.Take care all!

Hi guys! Just wanted to pop in...Tiffany I read about your SA and have you googled high ph in sperm? It sounds like it is not a good thing and can affect fertility...I didn't spend too much time looking, but did your doctor talk to you guys about this? The acidity or alkaline (ack, can't remember if those are the terms) of both the sperm and the vagina greatly affect chances of conceiving. I think it is treatable though. Just wondered if you found out any more? I'm so rooting for you to get that bfp soon :)

Name: tiffany79 | Date: Jan 6th, 2008 8:01 PM
Hey Stef! Yah, i have looked up a ton of info on it. Last SA, his PH was fine. Im really not to worried about it, from what i read anyway. It could be a sign of infection, but that would come w/ high WBC, and his count was normal. I have to see my doc this month for the yearly pap exam, so will discuss w/ her. Its my turn next, it WILL happen SOON! LOL!! Your what 14wks now??!! Thats SOOO awesome!!!!!! Hello everybody else! Where is Teardrops??

Name: zanesmom | Date: Jan 8th, 2008 12:48 PM
hello everyone. well, i am 34 weeks now, and have developed mild pre-eclampsia. i have an ultrasound this week could help determine how big little piper is, so they can make a decision on when to deliver. does anyone know of someone that delivered this early and things ok??? it will be a planned c-section, and judging from her last u/s, she is actually measuring 35 weeks so i think it will all be ok. i just wanted such a different experience this time around (zane was born at 36 weeks and had to spend a week in the nicu)

Zanesmom, good to hear from ya! Sorry about the preclampsia. Once i get prego, i have to watch out for that, my mom had it w/ me. How is everybody else?? Im going for my annual pap today, and will talk to my doc about where to go from here, if AF shows agian. I want to ask about clomid, and maybe give my eggs a boost?! I will see what she says... i have a feeling the next step is an HSG. I wish they could just do a regular xray of your tubes. That would make it so much easier!

Name: TearDrops | Date: Jan 9th, 2008 2:42 PM
Hello ladies. Imogen is such a lil doll! Not that I'm surprised Tori, your boys are too (in more manly ways lol). I'm so happy everything went so great with her birth and that she's doing well now. Too funny about your upside down rail Cjordan lol. Can't wait to find out what you're having, won't be long now! Don't strain yourself woman, just take it easy. You too Shiner and Zanesmom, you're all so close! Sorry about your complications Zanesmom, I'm sure your baby will be fine. Didn't Tori say something about 28 weeks being long enough for great survival odds? And you're well passed that, so just think positive, I'm sure she will be just fine. Shiner, sorry to hear about your husband's job situation still being so crazy. You don't need this type of stress during a pregnancy! I hope for all of you that it straightens out soon so you can have 1 less thing to worry about. Tiffany, I really hate it that you've had so much disappointment trying to conceive. Hopefully you won't have to use clomid or have an HSG because you'll be pregnant! I've been keeping my fingers crossed for you, and will continue to do so. I'm happy to hear you're not going to give up, we're going to become mommies this year, I just know it! So are yous till doing your monitor, or just completely not doing anything? As for me, I've had a bizzare cycle this month. I ovulated about a week later than normal and my temps have been a lot higher than they ever were before (in the passed 3 charted cycles that is). I've had a few temps that were taken at 12:30pm instead of my normal 7:30 since I didn't go to sleep until 8am, so, I kind of had to take them later, but even the ones I temped at the regular time were higher, so it's not just the lack of sleep it looks like. I'm not gettin my hopes up because I've had negative tests, but I'm really hoping this time is THE time! Keep us posted about your appointment today Tiffany, I'm really anxious to hear some news about your gyno's thoughts on everything. Stay healthy and as unstressed as possible girls!

Zanesmom, Matthew was born a 34weeks (well 33w5d) and other than needing a little bit of phototherapy because he was badly jaundiced he is fine and well. You couldn't tell now that he was ever premature. If Piper needs to come early then all should be well but it would be worth discussing a course of steroids to mature her lungs that little bit faster. The ones I have had through all my pregnancies are over two days and they are well worth getting to give the baby that added bonus. Hello to everyone else. i hope all is well!

Hey all. Doc said NO to Clomid, since i ovulate just fine, and w/ my last progesterone level, she thinks i have great ovulation. She wrote me a referrel, incase we want to go that route (since she isnt an RE). She recommended we see a male fertility doc, just so he can look at DH results. We might do that in a couple months. I think next cycle im gonna stop the FM and not chart..and just BD EOD, and not worry about it. If nothing...then will go from there. I will probably get an HSG too. ICK! Ugh..I WILL BE PREGO SOON THO! hehe. Teardrops, when can you test?

Name: zanesmom | Date: Jan 10th, 2008 12:09 AM
tory... did mathew have to stay in the nicu? and if so, for how long? also, how much did he weigh?

Name: TearDrops | Date: Jan 10th, 2008 2:07 AM
I'm 13dpo today, well 14 now since it's passed midnight. So I started at 11 dpo... we shall see if I get AF tomorrow or the next day since my tests were negative.

Name: Shiner081 | Date: Jan 10th, 2008 11:12 PM
Hi all.Doct. appt. went well today but never got any pictures(ugg).Baby is head down already and things were to cramped in there with feet and hands in the way.Doct. says all looks well and the baby weighs about 4 lbs and is expected to atleast double that by birth. My luck another big boy.

Name: Tory1980 | Date: Jan 11th, 2008 10:51 AM
Zanesmom, Matthew weighed 5lb2.5 oz and he stayed at my bedside for all his care. I had steroid injections though and I swear that helped him with his breathing. Other than the phototherapy and me eventually having to stop breastfeeding due to him being too sleepy there was no other issues.

Name: tiffany79 | Date: Jan 11th, 2008 2:56 PM
Teardrops, checked out your chart...looks great! Have you tested today?? Oh i talked to my doc about Clomid and she said NO, because i have good ovulation. She suggested making an appnt w/ Male fertility specialist, just so we can have a consult on DH Results...for the most part they are normal. Just a few High/Low things. IF thats okay..then an HSG. BUT i hope im prego before all that! :-)

Name: TearDrops | Date: Jan 11th, 2008 4:18 PM
Tiffany, glad to hear you shouldn't be needing clomid. Hopefully all these dr's visits and results will be useless because you'll be pregnant before they can do anything about them! So is DH going to see a male fertility dr. if you don't get pregnant this cycle, or before that? Even though they haven't really found anything that seems to be wrong, it's better to know that then to wonder. I did test today, around 2:30am when I woke up (finally was able to sleep early and then work up lol), and it was negative. I'm 15dpo, haven't been 15dpo since my last pregnancy, so hoping that's a good sign. There was possible a light line on the test, but due to my previous experiences, we'll say I wanted it to be there so badly that I imagined it, because that's probably the truth lol. I'll just keep testing until AF shows, but I've had no dip in my temperature, so hopefully she's packed up her bags for a long 9 month vacation! Zanesmom, are you going to get steroids for your lil girl? Has the dr. talked about it at all? Just curious since it helped Tori's little ones so much, sounds like a great thing to do. Shiner, glad to hear your lil man is already 4lbs, and you've got most everything ready for his arrival. You can CJ have made it now! Even if you had your babies today, they'd most likely be alright, that's gotta feel good. How are you Cjordan???

Name: tiffany79 | Date: Jan 11th, 2008 4:49 PM
Teardrops...have you tried w/ a diff brand of HPT? Ya never know!! Are you using dollar store now? Since your a pee-aholic, (if af shows) then you should buy those HPT strips Shiner had, they showed as low as 10hcg i think. Thats the lowest in a HPT! I think Shiner got a bfp on CD 9... am i correct Shiner?? As for me, i think i will wait another cycle before i make an appnt. We'll see tho, im so impatient! Not sure if insurance covers it, so i really dont want to fork out the money if i dont have too.

Name: TearDrops | Date: Jan 12th, 2008 7:20 AM
I tried one other off brand HPT 2 days ago and negative. I am thinkin about buying those ultra early ones shiner was talking about too. Would be worth it for me lol. I've been having low/pelvic discomfort and sometime cramps that differ from AF, and my temps have been off the charts! (for me) Perhaps I'm ill? Last pregnancy I didn't get a BFP until 20 dpo or some crazy thing like that, but that ended badly so hoping for a different start this time, if I am indeed expecting. I hope your insurance covers the DH's testing, otherwise that would suck! Hopefully, like you said, you won't need it. When is your next AF due? Are you going to test or just wait it out?

TIFANNY- hey lady! just wanted to chime in... according to my RE i am ovulating with good quality and quantity BUT i i did have a HSG done last month and she saw a small area where the dye didn't go. she suspected that it was a polyup and scheduked me to have a hysteroscopy done this cycle. i had that done yesterday and she removed what looked like a small cluster of polyups. they told me that those could prevent implantation and/or cause miscarriage. so the HSG may prove to be helpful for you. BEST OF LUCK!

Name: tiffany79 | Date: Jan 12th, 2008 11:08 AM
Teardrops...keeping fingers crossed for you!!! Temps look great! If you suspect something tho, go get a blood draw. And yes, DH 2 SA were covered. Took a few phone calls back and forth, but end result ins is paying, TG! Zen, thanks for the info!! Im sure that will be my next test, if needed. So, when do you get to start ttc agian?

Name: ZenGirl | Date: Jan 12th, 2008 7:40 PM
she said that we can ttc this cycle. she did not put me on any fertility meds this cycle so i will be relying on the robitussin, temps and opk's. then next cycle we will be doing IUI! i have so many questions about that but i am trying to take one thing at a time and not get my hopes up....how long until you get the HSG?

Name: Shiner081 | Date: Jan 12th, 2008 11:49 PM

ROFLMAO Shiner! I am so sorry to be laughing but it sounds like something that would happen to me! Trust your hubby though! The man just wanted a break (no pun inended!) from work but this is not the way to go about it!!!
