I was told I had a miscarriage on wednesday at 51/2 weeks. I went on Friday to see the doctore and was expecting to see my hcg at 80-0 and it had went up for 160 to 300?? Does anyone know what this means? Is it still an ectopic pregnancy? I go again to get and hcg tomorrow. Any comments are appreciated ↓

A question - how did they know you had miscarried? Have they done a scan etc? The fact your numbers are rising (and quite fast) means baby is still growing. Whether that is in your womb or your fallopian tube needs to be determined asap. I hope your numbers are up and you find a baby snug and warm where it needs to be! Good luck! ↑

Well I am not sure if I had a scan but I did have an ultra sound. Is a scan something I need to determine where the pregnancy was. They said they could not see anything in the ultrasound due to the levels being so low. I took my hcg this morning and the doc should have results this afternoon. But with all the bleeding and clotting I am sure it has passed and I would like to know when it is safe to try again maybe??? Not sure I can stand the rollar coaster anytime soon though.
