I am so confused right now. At my first ultrasound, I measured 6 weeks. I've been having a lot of symptoms and have felt pretty sick. I had another ultrasound two weeks after the first and they said there had only been two days worth of growth in two weeks. They also said there was evidence of two at one point and the sac is an irregular shape. There is only one heatbeat though and they said it was really faint at 85. I should have been 8 weeks at that ultrasound. I figured it was a miscarriage (although I am still feeling sick and I have no spotting or cramps). The Dr. talked about a D&C for next week, but they checked my HCG levels and they said it was pretty high. 68,680. They took my blood again on Friday, but b/c of the long weekend I won't get the results until Tuesday. So frustrating. I have another ultrasound Tuesday as well, but I still hate not knowing!! Has anyone else experienced anything similar? This is my second pregnancy. I spotted the frist three months with my son, but he was born super healthy. Anyway, guess I just wanted to vent about being frustrated. We were really excited about this pregnancy and the waiting to know what's up is unbearable! ↓
hi cyclemom, I'm kind of in the same bout. I have really high hcg levels but i'm only 5 weeks tomorrow. Went in for an ultasound and tehy couldnt find a yolk or fetal pole. Did they do a belly or trans vag us on u? That could be the problem ↑

i went through this similar to yours last week. each time i went in for a vagainal u/s, they couldn't detect the hearbeart, bu only an empty sac w/ irregular shaped. so at 6 weeks, they did the d&c on me... pretty sad ↑
Hi Ladies..sorry to hear of your difficulties.. I am just wondering have any of you spotted or had any cramping? Why did you have early ultrasounds to begin wiith? My doc has told me to wait until 8 weeks for my first ultrasound unless I am spotting or cramping. I have had a miscarriage, and ectpic and a miscarriage b4. I have also had a successful pregnancy I know have a 21 month old and am currently pregnant 6 weeks 3 days. I am just so worried something could be wrong even though I feel fine. Thanks.
