I got this awful nasty headache last night before I was done work...this headache is worse then the ones I usualy get...and I tried sleeping it off, and I still have it and it still hurts as much as it did before I went to sleep. I'm to scared to take any advil or anything. I just need advice.

Blimes my dear, you are posting all over the place for every little thing. A headache isn't a pregnancy complication, don't worry. Have you had your first doc appointment or do you have a midwife. I think if you have someone to talk to on a regular basis your mind will be more at ease.

You can take excedrin tension headache....the tension headache kind ONLY. It's basically just tylenol and some caffine. My ob told me to give it a shot and it worked for my headaches except one horrible migraine I had for days and they prescribed something for it.

Blimes if the hospital and clinics are "tired" of seeing you.... maybe you can go to a library and check out some books about pregnancy. I learned a lot from reading. Also is there some teen pregnancy group at your school? Its just not good for you to worry about every little thing under the sun. Good luck!

Hi sweetie, If you continue to have headaches, or start to see signs of swelling in your hands, feet, face, or have blurred vision you should call your doctor right away. Those can be signs of high blood pressure. Also, I know when I was pregnant that I would sometimes get pretty bad headaches if I hadnt eaten. You might try a high protein/complex carb snack along with some water and see how you feel.
Dont worry about what the dr's office staff thinks, you're the one pregnant, not them. They get paid so they can just keep their opinions to themselves.
<hug>
