I have taken four pregnany tests at home, have been trying to pregnant for about 2.5 months. 2 of the tests were positive, two negative. What does that mean??!??

Ive heard u can not get a false possitive. Id try again and make an appt to go see ur doctor for sure.

Were they different brands of tests? They can measure a different amount of hcg and account for the difference. Good luck.

It is very hard to get a false positive but very likely to get a false negative because certain hpts detect different amounts of the hcg hormone. The negative tests probably aren't "early" tests, therefore need more hcg to come back positive. I would guess that you are definitely pregnant! I would make a Dr. appt soon, Good Luck and I too hope to see a positive test asap:) Congrats!
