Question: I was on the bcp for 8 years and my husband and I started trying in December. I got my last period at the end of November (which is when I went off the pill). Before I started the pill my periods were irregualar. I would get a period every other month or so. It's now mid-Jan and I have not had a period since Thanksgiving. Sometimes my breasts are a little sore and sometimes I feel nauseous. I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative. What could be going on??? ?

Answer: I don't care what the experts say, bcp mess with women's fertility. If you don't start having periods then you should see a fertility doctor. You might need to take clomid or femera to get the ball rolling. =
Answer: When is the best time to try to concieve? i had my period end of november beginng december it is now mid january and i have't had my period ever since. =
Answer: believe me it is all in the mind....i had my period in Nov 15th and expected dec 17th as my cycle is 32 to33 days...but it didn't happen I took pregnency test came negetive....and after 3 days I got my period and by that time it was Dec 30th ....It was delayed by 2 weeks...so be patient ...abd be calm that is what I am doing now.....try your best for six months...then also it won't happen consult a doctor to see ifanyhting can be done.... =
Answer: Well turns out I did get my period on Jan 17 and the breast tenderness was just my period approaching. I realize it hasnt even been 3 months since I've been off the pill and I was on it for 8 years so I guess I can relax a little. I spoke to my doctor because my husband and I are limited to how often we can do it so she said to see when I get my period next. This will give us an idea of my cycle length and when I ovulate. I guess I am just assuming the worst just because we are limited in how often we can do it. My husband is on seizure medication so that causes some sexual dysfunction which is too bad. =
