I had a miscarriage August of 07. There was no heartbeat. Before I found out about the pregnancy I was on the following medications; campral, antabuse, prozac, lamictal & diazapam. When I found out I was pregnant I stopped all medications but still lost the baby. Could those medications have contributed to my miscarriage???? I am pregnant again now and was only taking Prozac and Lamictal. I found out very early I was pregnant due to bodily changes. I stopped my medications. I do however get these little cramps on each side of my stomach as if it were aches in my ovaries. Is this normal??? What are my chances of carrying this baby full term???

Is your obgyn aware of these medications? I would make him/her aware and they should be able to answer this for you. I know that some medications need to be weaned off of and not stopped suddenly, I'm not sure if these medications are like that or not, a medical professional should be able to answer this for you. Just because you have had one miscarriage however, does not mean you will necessarily have another. I had a m/c in February 07 and got pregnant in March and now have a daughter. Those crampy feelings can be normal though as your uterus is stretching, its called round ligament pain.
