Beth- I have to agree with you about me most likely being pregnant since I have two other children already, but when a test says negative and you have all the signs I can't get the "go ahead" until it says positive! When I was pregnant this last time, I passed out and the hospital gave me a blood test that came out -, but a week later a home test proved otherwise. How long do you think I should wait? I am still breast feeding my 15 month old daughter, so my period is not regular at all yet. I have not had a period since mid June, but on Aug 1-3 I noticed the eggwhite like mucus that comes with Ovulation. If I did get pregnant I would be having implantation bleeding right about now, and I DID start a light bleed tonight! It is bright red but real light almost like it is at the end of a period not the beginning. My period is not supposed to come for another week. I have been searching online for more info on implantation Bleeding. All the sites I see say that is more like a light pink or brown, but mine is vary much red. But is has only been a tiny bit in a few hours. My normal periods are VARY HEAVY and last about 5 or 6 days. I will see in a few days when it stops and I can take a test! I am just not sure if my nursing is having a effect on my period or if it is indeed implantation bleeding. Thank you! ↑
mt af comes at every last week of my month. no af in june...light brown -reddish discharge one week before af was to come in july but nothing. This friday I started this muscusy light pink discharge that only showed when i whiped. I'd test again but all test say negative...should i test again. my af never pulled this weird stuff before ↑
To: Just wondering.....If what you discribing is implantation bleeding then it wouldn' t really show up on a test untill about 4 to 6 days after implantation. I would say try testing again next tue or wed. If you get another ( - ) try again in another two to three days. I hope that is some help to you! ↑

I'm still bleeding but it only shows when i wipe. The blood has gotten darker thou like a really really dark colr red. No pain ..not even a cramp....so..i'm guessing this is still a good sign or maybe not i dunno ↑
Ya! I am going through the same thing right now. I just started bleeding lastnight, but is is alot like a normal period but lighter and more red. like a cut. My normal periods are heavy and are thicker. I am not supposed to have my period untill next wed, so I am not sure what this is. I am going to test anyways in about 5 days or so....I pray luck is with us both! ~smiles~ ↑

hi mary! i am goin through the same thing now! i took the test and was so excited that it was positive! then 30 mins later i got my period. i really have no clue whats goin on with that. im thinking this was a "regular" period, not just spotting my period was also 10 days late! i dont know when i should take another test!

Alright guys, I need your help. I posted previously that I got some spotting 5 days before my AF was due and then never got my AF. I am having every pregnancy symptom in the book (already have 2 children) but today is one week after my missed AF and still a negative test?? Like I stated before, when I was pregnant last time, I passed out and at the hospital they took a preg test that came out negative and 2 weeks later a home test said positive. I dont know what to think or do because if I am not pregnant then what else could be wrong with me? I am bloated, moody (crying at everything), sick in the afternoons and having TONS of discharge. PLEASE HELP!!!! ↑
To emmy, This past december I took a hpt (on the 23rd) and got a + result. That same night I started bleeding. We were having a really bad snow storm and the doctor was closed the next day (a friday and xmas eve) so I had to wait until the following monday to go to the doctor. He confirmed that I was having a miscarraige. Really crappy xmas news! The bleeding started off really light, but was bright red like af. I was having severe cramps also. My dh and I are now ttc again. I am experiencing the same things as everyone else is now. My lmp was July 17th. I have a 30 day cycle and was due to start today but I started "spotting" pink with mucous on the 13th. The next day it was more red with small stringy clots. I also had some slight cramps but nothing like af. The following day it was all brown. There was some spotting on my pantyliner but mostly seen it when I wiped. I called the dr. yesterday and they told me if I didnt start a normal period with the week to take a hpt. Today I started dark brown spotting again, but mostly when I wipe. Before the spotting I had "clumps" of thick mucous when I wiped. And I have been very tired for about a week and a half. My breasts were sore like they always are before i start but the soreness went away around the 12th. I'm going to take a hpt friday and hope for the best. Good luck to everyone else also!! ↑
Hi gals..I have a question..on 8-2 to 8-7 I had my period..My husband and I had sex on the 8th and 9th. On the 13th, I felt sick to my stomach, but nothing came of it..So on the 14th, my stomach cramped so bad like I was going to start again. The cramps went away after about 4 to 5 hours, and when I used the restroom, when I wiped, there was really light pink on the tissue. I thought, great, here it comes again...Well, on the 15th, there was nothing, so my husband and I had sex again. On the 16th and 17th the discoloration came back, but it was dark brown this time..The 17th was the last day of that. Now on the 19th, my breasts are sore, feel like they are bruised a bit. I went ahead and took a hpt to feed my curiosity, and it was neg. So, my question is: is what I went through implantation bleeding? and could I have tested too soon...how long after ib can you test? or should your breasts get sore...thanks for any responses..... ↑
The doctor told me that IB usually occurs about 1 week after ovulation. Ovulation usually occurs between 14-16 days after day 1 of your cycle. The best time to take a hpt is at least the first day of a missed period, with best results 1 week following a missed period. This way if implantation occured later than normal, there is time for the hcg to accumulate in your system. Implantation bleeding is actually rare. Only 1/3 of pregnant women experience it. The doctor told me that of those women some do experience cramping. The bleeding from implantation is usually pink or brown spotting that is only noticable when wiping.
So in response to your question Joanne, I think it's a little early to test still. If you were pregnant, more than likely you wouldn't be having morning sickness yet unless you were at least 6 weeks pregnant. But sore breasts are often one of the first signs of pregnancy that women notice. I would give it a couple more weeks and then test again closer to when you are supposed to start. Find a hpt that can detect hcg as early as 4 days before your period or go to the doc and get a blood test done if you can't wait till then. Good luck if that's what you're hoping for. ↑
Ok big problem guys. I don't know if I am having a period or if this is implantation bleeding. If I am pregnant I would have concieved on the 13th. I was supposed to get my period last sat. on the 20th but i started spotting tuesday on and off and then last night (25th) i had very light brown bleeding so I used a pantyliner and this morning there was a bit more. So I put on a pad and now it seems as though I'm o my period because there is more than "light bleeding" and I have mild cramps but their not as bad as usual. What do you guys think? ↑
My husband and I just started trying a month ago monday. For the last 4 days now I have had very very light brown spotting(so light I don't even need a panty liner). I've never spotted before and I only get a period every 3 months, so when I do get one there always really bad. I have had no cramps or any signs of a period. Just wondering if this sounds like it could be implantation? ↑
hi guys heres the thing... ive been bleeding and its been pinkish and bright red... it hasnt been light but not as heavy as my regular period.. id say about 3 full tampons. yes ive been putting in tampons do u think that that would lead to a miscarriage? the blood in the tampon looked a little purple.. somebody help me! ↑

This month I started having sharp pains on one side at 9dpo. Went to the doc on 11dpo for a sonogram and blood test (I am at a high risk for ectopic). Everything looked fine, lining a 9, no cysts - nothing out of ordinary. Blood test negative (doc said it would be even if I were pregnant).
I had bleeding right after - thought it was from the wand they use for the sonogram. Very light pink discharge but not enough to get on a pad, just on paper. A couple of red drops that evening on a pad and the next morning (12dpo). Turned brown and has slowed but it was never enough for more than a panty liner if that. Yesterday (13dpo) sharp pain back but not as bad as before. Today AF is due and nothing. No signs, no bloating. I've had cramps for 3 days now but light - that is unusual. No sharp pain - everything is quiet except I still have some brown spotting when I wipe.
I have no clue what is going on. Took an HPT on 11dpo (not morning urin) and it was negative.
Doc wants me back in on Tuesday even if I start AF to check me out. I'm confused.
Michelle, I wanted to let you know that I had something similar although I get my period every month. I thought it was the start of my period both times it happened. The first time I tested positive on an hpt the first day it started. My most recent pregnancy I had the very light brown blood for 3 days and tested and got a negative. Then the blood stopped, had one more day of very light brown and tested two days later and got a positive. So both times for me it has been very very light and a brown color like ths start or very end of a period. I never had any red blood. I dont know if this helps. I wish you the best. Jackie ↑
I am kind of having the same problem. I started what i thaught was my period on the 24. i have had no cramps and i have only used 2 pads from 24-28. i mean there was barely any blood just mostly when i urinate. Now its all kinda of burnt red,brown and then bright to light pink. I also normally have sore breasts on my period but there not sore! ↑
Hi everyone. Wow so many similar stories. Isn't it sad we grow up knowing so little about our own bodies? This is what they should be teaching in Sr High Health. Anyway, I have been trying for #2 for over 2 years and have been on fertility meds this past month. I have a very elevated progesterone level (163, where 20 is the norm for 7 days past ovulation) and I am 12 days past O. I started spotting this am very light pink, passed two very small clots (sorry) and it got redder as the day progressed, but still no flow. Still on same pad, about the size of a half dollar. I really am hoping this is IB and after reading these stories sounds like many of you have the same. I have never seen spotting before (one son, 2 m/c). Hey guys, quick question here...I've been arguing with my husband for a few days about whether or not I'm pregnant. I looked up all the symtoms and what other people have experienced, but I'm not sure that in doing that it only made my wishful thinking more...wishful. Here's what I got.
I'm not supposed to get my period for another week. Last week I started getting cramps, which for me is VERY unusual because I have only ever gotten them on the day and time that I got my period. I'm still getting them now. They aren't hard cramps like I get during my period...but they still kind of hurt. I have wicked headaches, and it seems even with the air conditioner on, I can't seem to get cooled off. My nose is really stuffy. I'm not tired in the least bit though. In fact, I can't sleep heh. My boobs have been sore. Only the right one though. Left's fine, heh. Earlier, I had sex with my husband and after I put on my white shorts and stood up. I felt something come out but I didn't think it would be my period because It's not due for a while. I wiped myself and it was blood. It was deep red blood, like period but darker. I put a pad in there and it's been about two hours. I keep checking it and there's no more blood coming out. Usually when I get my period it flows like a river and I have to run down the hall with my legs crossed. This is weird for me. We have, been trying to get pregnant for about two weeks. Just wondering if it's highly possible if I am, or should I not waste my time on a HPT? Any advice would be great =]. ↑

im on the needle, i started having a brown discharg 2 weeks ago and then it was like i was having my period, but it was much longer then my usual one. now 2 weeks later im haveing alot more of that brown discharg . can anyone please help me im not sure if i shouldworry or not. i also peed blood like 5 days ago. my boobs are extreemly sore and so is my stomach and back, sometimes i feel like i cant even sit up its like theres a not in my stomach and it pulls when i sit up .. i also feel like i could sleep all day every day ? what should i do ? ↑
Has anyone tested and got a very faint line and it ended up being negative? My hubby and I have been trying and for the last 6 days now I have had the weirdest spotting only needed to use a panty liner one day. I finally tested today and got a very faint line, so faint at first I thought I was imagining it, but it's really there. I don't want to get my hopes up if there is a chance it could e negative. ↑
michelle- that same thing happened to me i had taken 3 test and they all had very faint line so i went to the docotr and then did a urine and said it was negative, but when i went back to the doctor 2 days later i was pregnant so don't let your hopes down, unfortunitly i had a m/c ↑
Hi Michelle. The same thing happened to me fanit line then a negative. The doctot told me it was a chemical pregnancy where the egg gets fertilised but doesn't implant correctly and then ends up as an early miscarriage. Try not to get too upset. The way I have looked at it is that if I hadn't tested 1 day before my period was due I wouldn't have known about it. I am still trying and waiting right now for my period. Although I have had a few symptoms and woke up this morning and had a little brown blood when I wiped. I am hoping it is IB???? Babydust to all ↑

Michelle, I have to let you know with my first pregnancy I did about 6 hpt and got such a faint line I didnt think it was positive, but it was and everything turned out fine. My 2nd pregnancy I did an hpt and got a negative and the 2nd test was so faint I wasnt sure again. It ended up being positive also and I am now 19 weeks pregnant. I find sometimes if you check the stick like hours later it will look darker if in fact the line is there. I hope everything works out for you! ↑
