How far along are you? Do you know what you are having? I only ask, cause when I was pregnant with my son, I got a rash called (PUPPS), It started on my stomach and then spread to my hips and upper legs. It was terrible itching. They treated it with steroid cream. I also took oatmeal baths and used prescription medicine. It was pretty bad, good look. ↑
Sounds like you have PUPPPS. I thouight I had that on my hands and feet but it ended up being a pregnancy related eczema. Your doctor can prescribe you a steroid cream but ask for prednisone or medrol and take claritin. It will only be cured after delivery but meds will def help you out and make the home stretch less irritating for you. Alot of women are worried about taking steroids but dont be! It actually can help increase lung development. Hope this helps and whatever you do, AVOID itching!!! Take a cold bath instead. ↑
I recently had a terrible allergic reaction to a bronzing lotion and Aveeno Oatmeal shower wash helped some. The doctor okayed Benadryl which helped the most. Mine was all over my body though. and was minimal on my tummy. The doctor told me that rashes which begin on the stomach and/or are worst on the stomach are normally pregnancy related. Just to be on the safe side, I suggest you contact your doctor. ↑
moom, i so have what you described... everywhere. The Aveno bath helps me, as well as Benedryl- which is OK to take via my doctor. I don't know what I'd do w/o the benedryl it saves my sanity. They have no idea why I have it, and I haven't changed anything like soap, lotions, etc. It starts on the bottoms of my hands and feet then scatters all over. If I scratch, I get red bumps. I just try not to scratch. Would be great if there were a real solution. ↑
