The other post was taking forever to load so I made a new one :) For those of you who don't have me added on myspace I posted up a video of Ellie I think everyone should see. She can't do much yet, but it's fun just watching her wiggle around: myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=-vids.individual&videoid=3799994-1- Remove any dashes.

marisol - it depends on how big your employer is. If under 50 they do not have tp give you 12weeks.

wait, i think it is 15 not 50. Look up the FMLA.

Haha yeah he loves to play with her. It's so cute, he'll pace back and forth carrying her for hours just to put her to sleep. He is a good dad.

Hi all ,Caleb and I just had a quick doc appt yesterday. He was born 8lbs 9 oz and 4 weeks later he already weighs 11lbs 8 oz! He loves breastfeeding. I am so proud of myself because this is longest I have breastfeed any of my kids. It warms my heart to see him thriving

hey girls - it sure is quiet around here now. :) Rachel hasn't had a massive explosion yet today so I'm hoping she's doing better. She's a big grump but her butt is clean. :) Levi woke me up at 1:30 and 4:30 last night -yuck! I feel for ya all! It's my fault for not waking him up to eat at 10:30. He ate at 8pm and went to sleep and I just couldn't wake him. Too bad I didn't go to bed at 8! :) I learned my lesson there. Amanda - hang in there with the sleep thing - you'll get better soon. It feels like it's gonna last forever but it won't.

I have no videos but put new pictures up! I have a sleeping baby in my lap lol. I still nurse the little guy to sleep once in a while since there's still some milk in there. He's been a bit cranky since I got home. He's usually all smiles and happy to see me. Glad rachel at least sounds like she's doing better.

Aw! I would love for Ellie to smile at me, she just has spontaneous ones right now. When did he start smiling? Today I talked to the social security worker again, this time on good terms. She referred me to a teen parenting program. It's pretty cool. They want me to go to Junior High schools and talk about what it's like to be a teen parent. That's a good job for me, because I don't think teens (under the age of 18 anyway...living with their parents and such) should try to conceive. Best part: I get $100 A DAY doing it!! Well that sounds like more than it is, I'd only go once a month. But my mom said that would be plenty of money so I can put off getting a job for a few months which means she'll breast feed for longer and have more bonding time with me. Also it would give me more time to concentrate on school. It's an all around good deal so I am very pleased about it :)

wohoo! Rachel had her first normal poop in 5 days! She even ate quite a bit today. yay! Levi has been a good baby for me today too - I'm just tired from last night and my allergies are killing me. We've had so much sun lately that the air quality sucks. Amanda, that sounds great about the job thing. Go for it! I feel like I have a toddler -Levi is so big compared to your little guys! He was 10.12 last week and I bet he's a LOT heavier now- he has to be at least 11.5 pounds by now - maybe more. He seems so big!! Fitting into 3 month clothes and he's only 3 weeks old! ahhh...where is my infant! :) He sure likes his sleep - he takes after his mommy!!! haha Oh, if you want to see pics of my lo's, I have a blog for each of them. From Rachel's you can link to Levi's - it's rachelreneestory dot blogspot dot com or levichristopher dot blogspot dot com. I'll have pictures and stuff updated. Levi's site is not as cool as Rachels yet but after this weekend I'll have a ton of stuff up. :)

Hi ladies! Jaxon is 5 weeks old now and started smiling about a week ago. It's so adorable to see his little face break into a grin. He loves looking at faces. I am still breastfeeding much to my surprise. I have bad days and good days with him in that department. fefer1: Glad to hear Rachel is feeling better. About 3wks ago Caden (my 17 month old) had the runs, vomiting and not eating. It lasted for about 5 days. Turned out that he was teething big time....6 teeth in one shot including 4 molars. Poor boy. Does Rachel have all her teeth? You have a big boy on your hands but that just means more to cuddle! Jaxon is soooo long and looks like a skinny-minny even though he probably weighs 10.5lbs. He has non-existant thighs. It's so strange to see the difference in siblings. Caden was a roly-poly at the same age but weighed the same. Different body types I suppose. We are going camping as a family on the 20th. It should be fun especially with the weather being so nice and its supposed to stay this way for another 2 weeks.

Name: fefer1 | Date: Jul 10th, 2008 12:11 PM
hey Dawn - I have a canon camera - an 8 something or other. It's in my tahoe right now and Tim and Rachel went to the store. I got it in January so it's fairly new. I love it! :) Rachel is so lucky - she got here eyes from her daddy - and she has MASSIVELY long eyelashes and they are super thick. I am so jealous of her. :) DDT - Rachel was a tiny baby, 7.2 when she was born and 19 inches. She turned out to be a huge chubby baby right away. I look at the pictures and can't believe it's her! :) Levi is 22 inches long but he's starting to bulk up. His skinny little legs have some meat on them now. Oh, and Rachel has all her teeth - at least her last two came in a few weeks ago - she was never really sick with any of her teeth, just cranky with some of them. Her molars didn't bother her all that much either which I thought was weird. So we're heading out to the cabin in a couple of hours -should be interesting. An infant and a toddler in the woods - all alone with mommy and great grandma. :) I hope it goes well - Tim will be in the woods jeeping with no way to contact him during the day. He's at least around at night time. All right - I better shower before Tim and Rach get back and Levi starts screaming for his mid morning brunch. :)

Fefer, I hear ya on the big baby thing. King is fitting into mostly 3-6 month clothes and I just had to go to the size 2 diapers because the size ones are making marks on his little butt and thighs. He is only 5 weeks and weighs 12.4 lbs. I can't beleive it. People in the stores think he's 3 months old, haha. Dawn, I was tlaking to Fred yesterday and he said that the Poconos is only about 2 hours from us so you let me know when you have time to meet up with us. King is still eating every 2 hours, every 3 1/2 to4 hours during the night. Oh and I have been giving him a bath with the lavender and chamomile bedtime Johnsons bath soap and he's been sleeping soooo much better. So I recommend that to any of you girls that are having trouble with sleep. He still has his difficult nights and I'm sure there's plenty more ahead of us, but anything that helps right! And Amanda, King tries to smile too but it's not quite there yet. I think Ellie is one day older than him, so they should be making their milestones around the same time. And good luck with the job, it sounds good. I've been working again, for the family I was nannying for before King was born. It's working out ok, but sometimes it's difficult because he'll need to eat while I'm driving them somehwere or something like that. Oh well, we need the money right now so I'm making it work. Ok girlies I'll try to get on later!

Gabby I use that Johnson's bedtime soap too and it puts her straight to sleep. It's keeping her asleep that's the problem haha. Ellie hasn't tried to smile yet but I feel like she understands things. I put her to sleep and then went into the kitchen to make myself lunch. Well, I forgot to turn on the monitor for a good hour or so, and when I turned it on she was screaming her head off. I felt so terrible I ran in and the second she saw my face she stopped crying and just looked at me like "THANK GOD YOU'RE HERE!" Its only a matter of time before she learns how to put the facial expressions with her emotions. The nurse that stops by my house once every other week (she checks for development and gives me advice on how to stimulate her... yet another teen parenting program) told me to be an overly dramatic actor every time she's in the room so she knows how to handle things. In other words, be creepily happy no matter what happens haha. So I've been working on that... I feel kind of stupid but whatever works I'm willing to try it :)

Gabby that sounds like a plan - If you want to meet in the poconos by my parents house there is a beach (fake beach) we can all go to and I can get my dad to cook out ..it'll be fun - I warn you though my parents have 3 dogs then you ad my two and its a nut house haha Cash is growing he will be a beast before you know it - violet eats every 3 hrs too - I have to try that amanda ..being Overly happy cause i think my frumpy face violet is that way cause i am that way lol she will stare at me and i am just staring at her back so maybe if i start being reallly happy she will be too lol we'll see!

I'm pretty interested in seeing it but I'll probably just wait for it to come out on dvd. I have to take Ellie everywhere with me and it's just too much of a hassle to take her to a movie theatre.

I am so beyond the whole trying to figure out breastfeeding when I go back to work! It's going great now and I think I am just gonna do formula when I go to work. I have just made my final decision LOL right here and now. Just seems like yesterday I gave birth and I go back to work in 1 week! Seeing as though I am just suffering from short term memory loss when was every due and how old are our babies now??
I was due June 11 and gave birth june 5 so Caleb is now 5 weeks old
