I just got married seven months ago and since then my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. I have never missed my period..ever. And, am always punctual every 28 days. But on Mar. 6, I missed my period for the first time and now its been two weeks and still don't have my period. I did a HPT day after my missed period and it was Negative. Then, I waited two more days and went to the doc for a blood test and that too came out negative. So the doc said he would prescribe Provera to make my period come down and I refused to take it after I found out what it really was. I waited one more week and tested with a HPT again it was negative. I haven't had any menstral symptoms but, I have been real dizzy to the point that I almost fell in the bathroom and am always naussiated all day through. My breasts have not been sore until just two days ago, and my headaches are very severe, I also have alot of bloatiness and constant gas. I don't drink much fluids throughout the day but go to the bathroom a lot and normally I wouldn't. Oh, and extremely tired. My next period is supposed to come down on Mar. 31 and I don't Know what to do if it doesn't. Has anyone been in my same situation please let me know?? Please Help.. Thanks ↓

I don't want to test again because it's frustating and very stressful. I'm just going to wait to Mar.31 when I should be get my next period. That would be exactly 56 days after my LMP. But, I'm terrified that I won't know what's wrong with me if I miss my period again and still get a negative HPT. ↑

Yeah I totally understand you. I'm on the same page right now about testing. I want to wait until until the end of the month. My next period was scheduled for April 3, 2008. Af is no where is sight for me yet. I'm not bloated or cramping. And my Cervix is HIgh and soft. When Af is around its low and firm. I read on a sight that HPT should be showing up positive by now, but I know a few girls who never got a BFP until after 8 weeks pregnant. I'm hoping we both are pregnant! ↑

Lillybug - Now I don't feel so bad that I'm not the only one going through this. I know it can be frustrating but you say that you know a few girls who never got a BFP until after 8 weeks pregnant. So, that would mean that we still may actually be pregnant, right?? Do you know what any of their symptoms were? ↑

Hey girl, yeah my cousins wife tested on Christmas day with a First Response test and it was negative. Then She went in to the OBgyn office and got a blood test done on the 26th of december being (7 weeks late) and got a positive. It just never showed up on home pregnancy test. That gives me hope but every time I see that BFN I get upset, like today, I got a BFN but I'm going to my doctor next week. My cousins wife's symptoms: headaches, moodswings, frequent unrination. She started getting morning sickness and sore breast at 9 weeks. Symptoms vary from women to women and also vary when they show up. ↑

I am 20 days late and all negative HPTs... I had 2 tests that could have been positive but not definite. Both were e.p.t. and the first of the two had a couple of dots going up where the positive line should be that makes the + and the second of the two had an outline of the positive line but really really really faint.... just wait that is all you can do and make that appointment with your doc. I made mine and unless i get a positive HPT they can't see me until 4/29 ↑

I, too, am in the same boat. I am two weeks late and am usually always on time with my cycles (28 days in between). I have several pregnancy symptoms, including "morning sickness" symptoms and headaches. I have two wonderful children, ages 6 and 8, and would be extremely thankful if I am pregnant again. It would truly be a blessing because I had a tubal ligation 6 1/2 years ago, during a c-section (after the birth of my son). I have had two negative home pregnancy tests, performed at nighttime. The tests detected 25 mIU and not the early pregnancy tests. I do believe in miracles and know that if it is God's will, then I will be blessed with another child. I do, however, respect whatever he has in store for me. I will keep everyone updated and pray for all of you to be pregnant and have healthy pregnancies. Sincerely, Tam ↑

I am going to be praying for you, and hoping that you keep us updated! Sounds like we're all dealing with the same issues! I'm now officially 21 days late, and I have had several negative hpt's. It's so insanely frustrating to be a girl who is regular every single month down to the TIME of day I will start and to be so late. I haven't been to the ob/gyn yet because my hubby's insurance at his new job hasn't kicked in yet, so no blood work for me until that happens. My symptoms are tender (and larger) breasts, noticable weight gain, fatigue, increased appetite and sporatic nausea. I'm crossing my fingers even though I know that the chances are slim to none that I am actually pregnant... but I still lay it at the feet of God every night to make the right decision for myself and my family. ↑

Any updates on your situations? Seems we all share similar situations
My last af was Feb 27th +/- a day. I am usually on a 28 day cycle whether I am on or off the pill and have only ever been 2 - 3 days late on a few occasions in the past. I am currently 14 days late. 5 hpt's later and I am still getting negative results. I don't have any major symptoms except continuous cramping in the lower abdomen for the past 2 wks and tender nipples which I notice went away a few days ago.
I called my doctor today and they told me they don't reccommend the blood test until after I've missed the second period. so I have another 14 days before I can schedule a blood test. I plan to keep taking the hpt's once a week for the next couple of weeks and just wait it out until I can know for sure.
please post an update as this may help me know some of the possible outcomes of this situation. ↑

mamad07- was it a faint positive? with in the time frame? (5-10 minutes), if so, you might be pregnant, try again in a couple of days and see if the line gets any darker. As for me girls: I'm taking provera right now, tonight will be my last dose, I'm taking 10mg for five days, have any of you girls ever used this before? I'm hoping af comes soon. I'm on cd120 today! ↑

I am in the same situation as the most. Late period (day 40 of cycle), w/ all the symptoms (bloated, sore nipples, never comfortable, always tired, acne, nauseous...) and every single test is neg (2 HPT, 1 blood test)! it is very frustrating. I have even had my Thyroid tested (TSH, T-3,T-4). just got that blood work back yesterday morning. normal. i couldn't help but cry. i just want an answer. just to know what the crap is going on. Yesterday afternoon i started to spot. it was just enough for a wipe. Very light dingy pink in color. It seems like it's alittle on the late side for implantation bleeding. But still this mornin, I took another HPT. Neg. I want to pull my hair out. This is frustrating. does anyone have any sort of advice? ↑

Hi, i'm experencing the exact same symptons as dmarie01. I'm 15 days late and decided to go to the doctor. He did a hpt and it turned up negative. He has not taken blood tests and i'm waiting now for results. My only symptons are cramping in lower tummy and very tender breasts for the last 2 weeks, its like my period is going to come, but doesn't. Has anyone else experienced this? ↑

I am having the same problem. We have been ttc for 1 1/2 years. This is the first time I have ever been late. I am 11 days late. I have had 4 neg hpt and very light positive hpt on Monday. So I went to the dr on Monday and they did a urine test which was neg. So they sent me for a blood test and said the result would be back Tuesday. So I called for the results and the nurse said they would not be back for a week or 2!!! I was rather angry, so I asked to talk to the manager there because the Dr herself told me to call on Tuesday so I would know if I needed to get more blood drawn on Wed to make sure my levels are doubling. The manager called and left a message for me to call first thing tomorrow morning for the results! I took another test this am and it was neg. It is just so hard not know. On one hand I think I am prego because my nipples are sore and I keep having strange feelings in my stomach where I usualy have cramps. I am very tired. Then on the other hand I dont know if I am noticing these things because I want to be prego so bad. I hope I can get through to them first thing tomarrow morning. So, I hope I find out something good. If I'm not, I guess I wait to see when I start. I send lots of baby dust to everyone! ↑

Amberlee, i feel exactly the same. I don't know if i'm just imaging these symptons, coz i want to get pregnant so much. I'm 16 days late now, can't understand at all. I've only taken one hpt can't bear to get another negative result ↑
