I hope you all don't mind me starting a part II but this new format makes it weird to find the newest posts. Sorry I've been MIA - we went on two vacations back to back and just returned on Tuesday evening. Yesterday was my dd's first day of high school. I can't believe I have a daughter in high school. So things have been really busy but its started to calm down now and I can get back online and check in with all of you. First off - congrats to little angelz on your bfp. How are you feelilng? Welcome to our newcombers tuesdaypm and gowingstjc - I think OPK's can be helpful especially if you're unsure if you're ovulating or not. Its nice to see that positive when you're working so hard to make this happen. As for me I'm on cd 16. Since we've been on vacation I didn't do any opk's so we just bd'd every other day. We'll see how it goes. Hello to toothfairy, MaribelsHope and Krissy - I hope all is going well and lets catch up ~

Enough of the diet!! I'll probably end up with a bad back again (chuckle)!! Well its always nice seeing you!! Take care and lots of love and hugs for you!!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have also heard of alot of ladies getting pregnant on their vacations - so good luck there. My husband and I have only been TTC for 2 months, but because of my age I worry that it won't happen. I am on cd12 and waiting to ovulate. I just started using OPKs a few days ago so I hope that will help us get the timing right. Thanks for listening, it really helps so much. And good luck to all the ladies trying this month.

jojosmom - Thank you for starting a new thread. Hey girlie how was the vacations? My third daughter started high school back in Aug and she is a cheerleader for JV and she cheered her first game yesterday and now she wants to quit I think she was just nervous I told her don't worry about just keep trying and keep your head up.
tooth fairy - Hi and thanks for checking in on me. I am okay I had my cry and now onto a new cycle. I have decided to do clomid again just like the doctor said. I have already tried the natural approach for a year straight before doing the clomid. I will keep you updated.
growingstjc - Welcome to the group and congrats on your marriage. I would buy the opk to help you figure out when you will be ovulating it has help me out a great deal. Krissy68

Hi Ladies, JOJOSMOM - good luck to you and lots of baby dust to get a BFP. TOOTHFAIRY - Any news yet????? I look forward to logging on to find out if any of you has any good news to report. I am on CD18 and have had all neg OPKs so far this month as well as my temps staying low. It is only my second month off of BCP so I figured my body is still trying to regulate its cycles. I just hope I am still ovulating at all. DH and I have been BDing lots just in case I get a pos OPK. We'll see! Gook luck to all of you and flinging lots of baby dust!!

Hey ladies!!! Krissy68 and gowingstjc-Well the bitch af came. I cried in my dh's arms. I don't know why I cried or why I thought I might be pg but I guess I was just hoping. I think I'm going to get more test done and see where I'm going next. Its just so sad. May have to go back to meds. Maybe even give up. I have a lot of thinking to do.Good luck ladies!!!!

jojosmom - Keeping my fingers cross that you get your BFP./tooth fairy - I am so sorry that she found you I just can't stand her. Hang in there and take a few minutes to yourself and re-evaluate that is what I am doing? I am taking the estrogene right now and I guess I will start using my opk test strip on cd 12 and that is about it. I am not checking my cp or cm because I can never figure it out anyway. Sending you a hug. Krissy68

Hi all - thanks for the well wishes. I am cd 23 and still nothing...no symptoms either way. I don't want to get any hopes up. I hate feeling so let down. Sometimes I want this so badly then other times I don't know what I'll do if it happens. I'll have a lot on my plate. But in a few years when dd is in college ds won't have anyone to grow up with. I want him to have siblings to grow up with and be close to when he's grown. Does that make sense? growing- any positives yet? what brand are you using? I didn't use any this month but I usually use the clearblue kind with the smiley face. They are so easy to use and read but the are really expensive. Does anyone know where the cheapest place to find them is? Krissy - what cd are you? TOOTHFAIRY - I'm so sorry about getting your af. I hate that day so much. My heart always aches so much when that happens and nobody seems to understand the devastation when it happens month after month. I'm sending you a hug through the internet as we speak. Hello's to Maribel and anybody else out there. I hope to hear from you all soon.

Jojosmom - I am crossing everything that can be crossed for you!!!! Keep us informed. I am using First Response OPKs and am on cd19 with no positive yet so I will keep testing. I will have to buy a new box soon though. Well I am off camping in the rain, have good weekends everyone!

Hi all - just wanted to post real quick. I think I'm out for the month. I was just starting to get my hopes up at cd25 and no spotting but I think I just got my first tinge of spotting. I'm really bummed about this. What to do next? dh does not want to push any testing so I guess i just keep trying. I wish this was the month for me.

Name: Krissy68 | Date: Sep 15th, 2008 1:17 PM
growingstjc - Did you get your BFP on your opk? I hope so. I got mines on cd 12 & 13 and I have been bding away. Keeping my fingers cross for you. How was camping?

jojosmom - Did AF show up? I hope not. Please let u know and hang in there I know it is easier said then done. DH don't want to do any testing on hisself but I will test myself but so far everthing for me have checked out if I don't get pg this time I will be making a dr appointment and asking him for a hsg and go from there. Sending you a hug. Krissy68

Krissy - No bfp on the opk for me yet, I'm on cd23 today. But been having fun bding all month. Camping was very wet - rained all weekend and I was glad to get home and be dry. Let us know if you have any news this cycle. And I am curious about the testing you might have done - so please tell when it happens. Jojosmom - sorry to hear you might be out, hang tough - it will happen for all of us!!!! Take care ladies

Thanks everyone for all your support and hug.!! I've been thinking of what to do next. Dh and I have talked and he said he will support anything I want to do. I still want to try natural but I think I will set a date to start meds again if I don't fall pg soon. Good luck ladies. Hope there's a BFP soon!!!

growingstjc - How long are your cycles? Mines are normally 29-30 days but for the last few cycles they have been 29 days. I'm currently on cd 16/3dpo so I am in the 2ww and I hate this part of the cycle cause this be the longest 2ww. I have been having bding as well. I think I am more relax this cycle then I have been in a very long time. I'm also not stressing like normal. i would like to go camping some day maybe next summer. Are you talking about testing that the doctor do? I have had a hsg but that was 4 years ago and I got pg that same cycle. If I'm not pg by next cycle I will be having that again but so far I have just had the different blood test and everything showed normal. I have to make an appointment after next cycle anyway I will let you know and of course I will keep you updated. I can't take my hpt until Sep 29.

tooth fairy - We will support you as well. I am so glad your dh is very understanding and supportive. Let us know what you need for us to do. Sending you a hug. Krissy68

Name: gowingstjc | Date: Sep 19th, 2008 12:50 PM
Krissy - Having a stress free cycle might just be the ticket for you. I will keep my fingers crossed on the 29th when you test. My curiosity is about the doctors tests that you take. I have just started TTC so this is all new to me. My cycles used to be (before I went on the pill) 28 days, then went on BCPs for about 3 years, now trying, but the cycles are whacked so far. But I need to give it some time to normalize some. Still no pos OPK and on cd26, but temps are still low.

Toothfairy - Glad your DH is so supportive, that can be very important. Let us know your next steps and good luck.

Hey ladies!!!! Well I went to the Dr and she said I have a UTI!! I have to take Cipro for 10 days. Does anyone know if UTI's have anything to do with infertility? I may be grasping at straws on this but I'm not sure if they do or not. Wouldn't it be great if all I needed was to correct that and I got pg. One can only wish!! I think I'm going to try a body cleanse for fertility. Has anyone had one or heard of it? Well keep me posted and we need some BFP'S!!!

Hi all! It's been a while since I checked in. I had a very stressful last month, moving, oldest son starting Kindgergarten( cried so much), and work stress. Oh! did I mention I am in dental hell. I was 3 days late in Sept. and was hopeful, but AF showed up. Toothfairy, I dont' think a UTI will have anything to do with infertility. The UTI is in the urinary tract not the ovaries or fallopian tubes. Good luck to all!!!

mrsmaltz - sorry AF showed up but congratulation on the move. How is your son adjusting to kindergarten or should I say how are you adjusting (smile). Take care and I will talk to you soon. Krissy68

Ladies!! I am so mad!!! I went to my OB/GYN today b/c I thought I had a yeast infection. I didn't have one so my Dr did a pap. He then said my cm was abundant and That I was ovulating and to bd tonite. What's bad about that is I took a opk test yesterday and today and they were both negative. Has this happened to anyone else? I thought this digital clear blue opk easy was accurate but I guess it isn't. Now I'm not sure what to use.

Hey Ms Krissy68...I guess we've been chatting on other threads as well...good to hear Im not the only crazy one over 35 that wants to have one more kid...everyone thinks im crazy because of my age and because of how many kids I have already...I thought I was done, but I feel like I have one more in me...Congrats on being 40 and trying for the 5th!!! My best friend just had her first at 42. When are you gonna test to see if you get a BFP? I hope that it comes out + Keep me posted on how youre feeling....your symptoms seem promising...I gotta wait til first wk of October to BDing, since that is my supposed O week...so hopefully we'll see what happens

mamix4 - Thank you and how are you doing today? I have tested on 8dpo and it was bfn and then again last night 10dpo and it was another bfn. I have 2 test left. I am just going to go ahead a prepare myself for AF arrival I don't think that I am . I am not really having anymore symptoms now I was a little crampy earlier but now nothing and my back has stop hurting I have went to the bathroom and my stool is still very soft that is about it. AF is suppose to start between Sep 29 (offical test date) - Oct 2 give or take a few days. I will keep you posted. I am keeping everything crossed for you I hope you get pg real soon. Take care. Krissy68

Krissy68- We bd'ed on Monday and Tuesday. We probably will tonite too!! My cm is stretchy today also. Keep me posted on your next test. I'll be praying for a BFP for you.

Name: mamix4 | Date: Sep 26th, 2008 1:16 PM
Hey Ms Krissy68

I know how you feel about the bfn and waiting...IT SUCKS!!! You said that you dont feel like your pg....could you ever tell before? The only one that I could tell with was bb #3...I knew as soon as we BDing that I was...the others I had no clue...hubby knew before I did...and with my last (who is now 2) I swore up and down that I was gonna get AF...I cramped so hard that I had tampon in hand constantly (lol).

So Im sure that when we get a BFP this time around, I wont have a clue either (lol)

Hope that you do get a BFP in a couple of days...you know how it goes...when you test too early sometimes BFN always shows...I would wait until at least when AF is due and then if she doesnt show her ugly head, test again..

Keep us post girlfriend!!
