Hi ladies. I am needing to find someone who has gestational diabetes... I was just told I have it. But the class they want me to take is $1275 to learn how to eat and what to do. Is there anyone on here who could help me. I can't afford to pay what my ins. won't cover. I have founf some info online of what to eat and not eat but any extra info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I will help you. My DS is 10 months old but I have all my paperwork and information. I am happy to walk you through it. Why don't you just email me so we can talk specifically about you jenniferoriley (at) gmail (dot) com I would not pay $1275, it is not brain science, you just have to be strict strict strict with it, because what they teach is how much damage it can to do the baby if you are not strict. I was very very careful and my DS was born at 37 weeks because my sugar was just too high and he was not responding well and then they did an emergency c-section and he was born with RDS (Respiratory Distress Syndrome). He spent 10 days in the NICU, but now he is perfect and healthy and you would never know. Also, check with your insurance, mine paid for my class. Good luck and please email if you want me to go over everything with you.
