Negative blood test my period was 6days late??

Has anyone had a negative blood test and still pregnant??I have a lot of symptoms today Im 9 days late.My doctor says to wait for 10 more days before I take another test.But Im going crazy to find out.Ive heard that blood tests are really accurate,and i don't want to get to excited,when the blood test came Negative I was really let down.. ↓
