Hi. I've recently around a month ago, started on the pill, but a week ago, missed 3 pills and had unprotected sex where the boyfriend cum inside of me on all 3 nights, and now on the 4th day of not being on the pill, I am bleeding, like a normal period but read that this isn't a true period .. so does this mean I can still become pregnant? I don't really understand why I am bleeding seeing as I wouldn't be due on for another 2 weeks on my normal period. Cheers x

If you don't take the pills according to the instructions you certainly can get pregnant. You are having break through bleeding from skipping the pills. You should use condoms at the very least if you miss pills and don't want to get pregnant.

If you've only been on the pill for a month and already you're skipping pills, you need to discuss with your doctor a more reliable form of birth control. Skipping ANY pills (even just one) puts you at risk of pregnancy, and after missing three in just one month, you don't seem very committed to this form of birth control at all. Unless you use it properly by taking every pill around the same time each day, you cannot count on it to protect you from pregnancy.

Yeah, I know. Not entirely committed. Is this just the pill though? Because my bleeding seems to stop an then comes out like water and then the bleeding starts again, afterwards. It's definetly not my period as I wouldnt be due for two weeks so could this be the start of pregnancy? Or is the bleeding showing a definete no? I've got a few signs; fatigue, feeling sick, .. but this could be my hormones, I suppose. :) Cheers x
