Hi there, I just found out I am pregnant and I have also a severe "outbreak" of psoriasis guttate all over my body. This has only happened one other time in my life whilst I was under extreme stress, depression and after a strep throat infection. My body itches like heck, and my dermatologist says I should not undergo any treatment: light therapy or cortozone creams until he hears from my gyno that its okay. My first appt is in two weeks!!! Anyone else with any ideas or experience with this?? Thanks ↓
Poor you!!! I have heard and read about this and some women it clears during pregnancy and others it gets 100 times worse! Some have the outbreak just after birth, so hormone related. Tell us what doc says...Good luck ↑
hi...i was blessed that during my entire pregnancy, my psoriasis completely went away...i only have it on a small part behind my ear, but it didnt bother me at all...i hope yours clears up, or they find a safe way to treat it!!! ↑
