I had a c-section with my son two years ago. I am now pregnant with our second child and am planning to schedule another c-section with this one. Are the doctors able to use the same incision as before? Also, anybody have any feedback on our a scheduled c-section goes? I was in labor for 24+hrs with my first when they finally took me for surgury. I was exhausted and am looking forward to a smoother delivery this time.

yes they use the same incision! at least they did the 3 times so far with me..a scheduled is alot easier then after laboring. you go to the hospital, they prep you, take you back, give you a spinal and your good! theres a medicine they put in your spinal called duramorph and if you didnt get it last time you want it this time..you are really in no pain till the next day..my best advice is to get up and sit in your chair as soon as you can..and walk as soon as you can..good luck! things will be fine!

I agree with AmyB and Nicki they used the same incision 4 times with me the only difference was they tried to make the incision a little bit smaller than the one before.
