Ugh yes... They make me feel really weird, I hate taking them. I only have to take them until I hit full term though. I really haven't had many signs of going... When I do a lot of work around the house I get contractions, but I haven't had any real ones yet. Turns out I wasn't 3cm dilated after all, I'm only 3cm dilated internally, but I'm completely sealed externally. It's called funnel dilating or something like that. I'm just feeling crampy and miserable. I should be 40 weeks in two days according to me, I really don't want to go past June 13th for that reason. *sigh* We'll see how it goes I guess... I'm starting to get very impatient. >.< ↑
Hahaha I'm getting the epidural, my doctor was even trying to push it on me because I was in so much pain during my group B strep... He was like yeah that's nothing compared to labor, I think you should get the epidural. I'm a wimp...haha. My hospital seems to favor epidurals anyway, not any other kinds of drugs though. The nurse who does my NST used to work in labor and delivery, and she was telling me about how natural births are horror movie scenes because of all the screaming, and how she's never seen anything go wrong with an epidural before but there have been problems with other drugs because they go through to the baby... So yeah I'm pretty convinced epidurals will save my life haha :) ↑

yeh untill it gets to the point where i have to give birth and then i,ll change my mind lol!! umm no not realy thought of water births they sound interesting!! i,ve thought about loads of things lol we even have names picked out for a girl and a boy lol!! ↑
well if we havn't done it this month next month will be our 10th month trying!! so we,ve had lots of time lol!! we have picked emma for a girl and alex for a boy and are going with my partners last name which is stent so it will be emma stent or alex stent!! what do you think!! ↑
Really cute, I love the name Emma. Have you considered any middle names yet? When I was thinking about names I went crazy picking out middle names because I wanted them to flow really nicely together. My middle name is Carol so it's Amanda Carol and it sounds awful haha. That's why Elizabeth Rae sounds so nice together :) If we were going to have a boy we were going to name him Dylan Matthew... But I highly doubt I'll be having any boys because my fiance's dad has had six children and he's the only boy out of all of them! That's alright though I love girls :D ↑
well if its a boy my partner wants him to be alex john stent as its a family name his is john so,s his dad and grandad and so on lol!! it doesnt really go but its important to him lol as for girls middle names i havnt got a clue i like the name brook but not sure with emma brook stent lol! my middle name is adelle and i dont like it either lol hannah adelle!! its so stupid!! i thought about my mums name which is lisa but emma lisa sounds silly lol!! i love the name elizabeth rae!! its so cute lol!! ↑
I knew I wanted to name her Elizabeth, it just came to me one day. I asked my fiance if he liked it and he said yes... so I was like good because even if you didn't like it that HAS to be her name haha. I thought it sounded very elegant, a good, royal and classy name for when she is older... But it doesn't really sound like a child's name, so for a nickname I decided that Ellie was the most adorable kid's name in the world and Ellie is short for Elizabeth so it's a win win! Ellie rae also sounds cute :) It took me a while to think of Rae, I actually picked it out because of the song "You are my sunshine." I constantly sing that song for some reason... It's like my way weird of telling someone I love them. So obviously when I found out I was pregnant I would ALWAYS sing it to her (still do)... So I was thinking of a ray of sunshine. Ray is a boys name so I spell it Rae, but yeah it means "Rae" of sunshine to me :) ↑

I went to get my routine NST and amniotic fluids tests today, the nurse doing the tests looked at my stomach and said "I really don't think she's as small as they think she is..." and I asked her why and she said "well, the only reason your stomach is so small is because you are wide at the hips, you're very skinny, you have a strong abdomen, and you're just young." So, I'm hoping she's right! During the ultrasound I had a "real" contraction... She told me that could go on for a few weeks without actually going into labor.. but I'm hoping it's a sign that I'm gonna be going soon :D ↑
Well since I wasn't in labor no it wasn't painful... it was just uncomfortable. There was a student nurse there following my nurse around, and it was weird because she kept wanting to grab my belly... so when I had a contraction I mentioned to my nurse that I thought it was a real one... and the student nurse was like pushing down on it saying "Whoa it's rock solid!!" Duh it's rock solid, get off me! haha. ↑
Haha, that would freak me out.. I'd be like 'Go away!! Stop trying to touch me all the time!' haha. Why was she so desperate to grab your tummy? I have a question for you. I'm reaaally sorry for the tmi and stuff.. but I'll ask just incase you have experienced this at all or anything :). I had sex 4 days ago (unprotected).. and this evening when I wiped.. there was some brown on the tissue. I wiped few times and it was still there.. not much but just a little bit of light brown. Do you know what it is at all? If not then no problem :) I was just like 'Ahhh.. omg?' lol, made me shake a bit. x ↑
I think she's just a preggo lover, that's probably why she decided to get a nursing degree in that field. About the brown discharge, is it still there or has it gone away? Before I got pregnant I used to get brown discharge right before I started my period, or right after I ended it. It would last a while though, then be replaced with the average blood. Are you expecting your period soon? If you don't get your period in the next week or so it might have been implantation bleeding. ↑
Yeah I think I better haha. I just looked implantation bleeding up.. Apparently it usually occurs around the time you would expect your period or the week before.. but in a lot of cases, it can occur anywhere between 4-14 days from conception. I don't have any signs apart from that other than heartburn yesterday but I think that's waaaay too early to be related to pregnancy. Hmm, not sure. When should I test? x ↑
lyrah kust lettinf u know that ovulation happens around 14days b4 your next period well cd11 to16 so if your only 9daus past your period its unlikley that you have even ovulated yet. just thought it might help lol!! omg amanda a real conraction!! im getting really excited now lol! and it you thats expecting lol!! im so sad lol!! good luck!! ↑
I'm getting REALLY close... Today at lunch I thought I was in labor haha. I had the most unbelievably painful contraction and it lasted a good ten minutes at least. I was like screaming and everyone in the restaurant was staring at me. I was like "I HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!!" but then I stood up and it went away... I felt embarrassed and sat back down hahaha. ↑
Well I think I might of ovulated early cos I had ovulation pains the other day.. but I'm not sure if you can ovulate this early? The brown is like.. mucous. sorry if tmi. Amanda - omgggg!! I think she's coming hun! yay! ↑
She's not coming fast enough I'll tell you that... I hope I won't have to wait too much longer. June 6th was my goal, as one of the women on this site pointed out if she was born on June 7th her birthday would be 6-7-8... I think that's pretty neat :) ↑
