Hey girls :) I stopped taking the pill on 14th april as I was having severe side effects. The day I stopped the pill, I had unprotected sex (not realizing I wasn't going to take my pill that night) and then (I can't remember whether it was the 15th or the 19th) I had unprotected sex again. Since then I have been using condoms. For the last 5 or 6 days.. I have had these incredibly sore nipples. Not my breasts at all, just my nipples. They are extremely sensitive and sore and they hurt to touch. It even hurts for bras and tops to be against them and it hurts in bed because the duvet is on them. I have never ever had this and it's so painful. I also had 2 or 3 days of continuous cramping, like period cramping. I know that after stopping the pill, it takes time for my period to settle back down again. If I was still on the pill, my period would have been due yesterday... which makes me a day late. Since I'm not on the pill, I don't know when I'm actually supposed to come on but I counted it as yesterday anyway. I have had some cramping but no sign of a period and I haven't broken out at all which I usually do before I come on. I'm not sure whether the extremely sore nipples are due to coming off bc, if im pregnant or something else. I forgot to mention that the day before yesterday, I had this weird sort of pain on my left hand side near my ovary, where it would pull and tug when I stood up. I was thinking about taking a test tommorow.. but I'm not sure when (if i am pregnant) a positive result would show. I wondered if any of you girls had any idea about what this could be or if any of you have experienced any of this with coming off the pill or pregnancy.. or anything else. Please help, thanks x ↓
Oh yeah I'm pretty much no help when it comes to birth control pills, the whole weird period thing totally eludes me. If it were me, I would just take a test now and if it came out negative wait a week or so and take another one. Most pregnancy tests come in packs of two anyways. Good luck. ↑
Thanks for the reply hun :) I feel like I could be pregnant but then again I can't tell cos of the pill >< It's so annoying. Judging the nips thing, I would of thought I am.. but I'm not sure if you can get that coming off bc. Bah, those little pills can be such a pain! Literally! x ↑
Haha, I didn't really have sore nipples during my first trimester, but now ohhhhh my god. They hurt SO badly and my boobs feel like they're going to EXPLODE. I have only taken birth control pills for about a month, and for some reason they didn't work for me or worked weird or something (thus my pregnantness) the whole thing totally confuses me. ↑
Amanda - aww thats sucks about the whole thing about your boobs feeling like their going to explode! Not long left now though huh? :) Hmm sometimes some pills don't work on some people.. I've been totally put off from it after what happened with the chest pains etc and I don't like having a 'fake' period every month.. I like my body to work naturally haha. AddysMummy - Thanks for the reply :) Well I'm now 2days late for my period... so it looks like I'll be testing first thing tommorow morning. I'm quite nervous about it though. If the result does come out negative.. do any of you know why I'm cramping without any bleeding? I don't understand why this would happen unless I'm pregnant. Or is it part of coming off bc? x ↑

Okay thanks, I will do that. Just annoying and confusing because I'm even off some foods.. I'm turning up my nose at chocolate which I love and chicken is making me feel a bit queasy when I eat it. I'm so bloated my tummy is sticking right out too :( x ↑
Hmm, that's weird... Yeah go ahead and take another one and if that's negative too, talk to your doctor about it. You might just be having some weird off the pill hormone mumbo jumbo that I really don't understand. *shrugs* Haha, it's kind of ridiculous that I'm still attempting to give advice when I have no idea what I'm talking about :) ↑

Well the longer you wait the more accurate it will be, so whichever you have the patience for I guess :) You got 6 tests for £2?!! Either I'm terrible at converting pounds and dollars or that's an awesome deal! Haha, the last time I bought a pregnancy test I bought a really fancy one so it was like $15 for two. Yep I probably got ripped off but I wanted it to be as accurate as possible. ↑
Hey, I haven't replied in 2 weeks because I've been away. Anyway, af ended up arriving after 9 days and it was a pretty normal period. I don't feel like I did before but I am peeing a lot. I don't know whether I should test just incase or whether to just leave it.. I don't really think I am now though if I'm honest. Blaaah, got my hopes up before af arrived, really felt like it was happening! Must of just been crazy pill withdrawal stuff going on, grr. x ↑
Aw, well at least you had a period you know, and your body needs to regulate your periods again after coming off BC that's probably why it was so late and probably why you were experiencing symptoms. ↑
For God's sake woman, get an abortion. You're probably just harming the poor thing. There's a reason there are clinics, people wouldn't pay hundreds of dollars for the procedure if they could just pop in some birth control pills and call it done. ANYWAYS... Lyrah, birth control has just been so mean to you, huh? :P ↑

I don't wanna go near it ever again lol, evil pill is what I'm going to call it haha :) Hmm.. if stoner is 4months pregnant.. then that makes her 28weeks right? The latest you can have an abortion is 24weeks.. over here anyway.. not sure if it's different in america. So if that's the case Stoner.. then all you can do is have it and then give it up for adoption or something. Why didn't you do something earlier about it when you found out you were pregnant? But Amanda is right.. you probably are harming it. If it is too late to get an abortion, then start taking prenatal vitamins and going to the drs. You need to face the consequences for your own actions hun. x ↑
4 months is 14-18 weeks... I'm personally against abortions after the 13th week. If she were to get an abortion now she would have to get a D&C. It takes two days for the poor thing to come out, and it gives you a much higher risk of a miscarriage later on. They stop doing the, I guess, regular abortions after 13.5 weeks. It's a hell of a lot more expensive, and I'm told it's a lot more painful too... ↑
Oh yeah of course it's not 28 weeks! I got muddled up with 4 weeks meaning 28days... when she actually said 4 months haha. I'm terrible at maths lol. Cooor, how stupid am I! lol. Yeah, after 13th week abortions get real horrible.. not only does the baby get a lethal injection into the heart but they also have to take their limbs apart in order to get the baby out. It's so awful :( Over here they're trying to lower the abortion rate so they are trying to put it as the latest you can have an abortion now is 20 weeks. I keep seeing D&C written, what does it mean? x ↑
D&C is a procedure that they often give women who have had miscarriages to get whatever might be left in there out. I think it stands for Dilation and Curettage or something like that. I might be wrong about the exact procedure, because I've never had it done myself, but I think they dilate you and scrape out whatever is in there... in this case, a fetus. But some women lose the fetus during their miscarriage and still need one to get out other stuff... Whatever didn't make it out I guess. It's sad :( ↑

I am one week and two days away from being full term!!!! On June 6th I will begin my attempts to naturally induce, then if I am unsuccessful by the time June 20th rolls around, I will inquire about an induction. I'll try to give her as much of a shot as I can to go on her own, but I've had fainting spells and I really don't think it's very safe to continue on too far with my pregnancy because of that. So I really hope I find something that will naturally induce me, I'm sure being off medication and bed rest will help a lot... I'll keep my fingers crossed :) ↑
