| Result of coming off bc, pregnant or something else? |
Question: Hey girls :) I stopped taking the pill on 14th april as I was having severe side effects. The day I stopped the pill, I had unprotected sex (not realizing I wasn't going to take my pill that night) and then (I can't remember whether it was the 15th or the 19th) I had unprotected sex again. Since then I have been using condoms. For the last 5 or 6 days.. I have had these incredibly sore nipples. Not my breasts at all, just my nipples. They are extremely sensitive and sore and they hurt to touch. It even hurts for bras and tops to be against them and it hurts in bed because the duvet is on them. I have never ever had this and it's so painful. I also had 2 or 3 days of continuous cramping, like period cramping. I know that after stopping the pill, it takes time for my period to settle back down again. If I was still on the pill, my period would have been due yesterday... which makes me a day late. Since I'm not on the pill, I don't know when I'm actually supposed to come on but I counted it as yesterday anyway. I have had some cramping but no sign of a period and I haven't broken out at all which I usually do before I come on. I'm not sure whether the extremely sore nipples are due to coming off bc, if im pregnant or something else. I forgot to mention that the day before yesterday, I had this weird sort of pain on my left hand side near my ovary, where it would pull and tug when I stood up. I was thinking about taking a test tommorow.. but I'm not sure when (if i am pregnant) a positive result would show. I wondered if any of you girls had any idea about what this could be or if any of you have experienced any of this with coming off the pill or pregnancy.. or anything else. Please help, thanks x ?

| Answer: Oh yeah I'm pretty much no help when it comes to birth control pills, the whole weird period thing totally eludes me. If it were me, I would just take a test now and if it came out negative wait a week or so and take another one. Most pregnancy tests come in packs of two anyways. Good luck. = |

| Answer: Haha, I didn't really have sore nipples during my first trimester, but now ohhhhh my god. They hurt SO badly and my boobs feel like they're going to EXPLODE. I have only taken birth control pills for about a month, and for some reason they didn't work for me or worked weird or something (thus my pregnantness) the whole thing totally confuses me. = |

| Answer: It definitely could be you coming off B.C. I had severe cramping when I came off it because my B.C. helped me NOT cramp as bad. = |

| Answer: 4 months is 14-18 weeks... I'm personally against abortions after the 13th week. If she were to get an abortion now she would have to get a D&C. It takes two days for the poor thing to come out, and it gives you a much higher risk of a miscarriage later on. They stop doing the, I guess, regular abortions after 13.5 weeks. It's a hell of a lot more expensive, and I'm told it's a lot more painful too... = |

| Answer: D&C is a procedure that they often give women who have had miscarriages to get whatever might be left in there out. I think it stands for Dilation and Curettage or something like that. I might be wrong about the exact procedure, because I've never had it done myself, but I think they dilate you and scrape out whatever is in there... in this case, a fetus. But some women lose the fetus during their miscarriage and still need one to get out other stuff... Whatever didn't make it out I guess. It's sad :( = |

| Answer: I am one week and two days away from being full term!!!! On June 6th I will begin my attempts to naturally induce, then if I am unsuccessful by the time June 20th rolls around, I will inquire about an induction. I'll try to give her as much of a shot as I can to go on her own, but I've had fainting spells and I really don't think it's very safe to continue on too far with my pregnancy because of that. So I really hope I find something that will naturally induce me, I'm sure being off medication and bed rest will help a lot... I'll keep my fingers crossed :) = |

| Answer: Ugh yes... They make me feel really weird, I hate taking them. I only have to take them until I hit full term though. I really haven't had many signs of going... When I do a lot of work around the house I get contractions, but I haven't had any real ones yet. Turns out I wasn't 3cm dilated after all, I'm only 3cm dilated internally, but I'm completely sealed externally. It's called funnel dilating or something like that. I'm just feeling crampy and miserable. I should be 40 weeks in two days according to me, I really don't want to go past June 13th for that reason. *sigh* We'll see how it goes I guess... I'm starting to get very impatient. >.< = |

| Answer: Hahaha I'm getting the epidural, my doctor was even trying to push it on me because I was in so much pain during my group B strep... He was like yeah that's nothing compared to labor, I think you should get the epidural. I'm a wimp...haha. My hospital seems to favor epidurals anyway, not any other kinds of drugs though. The nurse who does my NST used to work in labor and delivery, and she was telling me about how natural births are horror movie scenes because of all the screaming, and how she's never seen anything go wrong with an epidural before but there have been problems with other drugs because they go through to the baby... So yeah I'm pretty convinced epidurals will save my life haha :) = |

When I was thinking about names I went crazy picking out middle names because I wanted them to flow really nicely together. My middle name is Carol so it's Amanda Carol and it sounds awful haha. That's why Elizabeth Rae sounds so nice together :) If we were going to have a boy we were going to name him Dylan Matthew... But I highly doubt I'll be having any boys because my fiance's dad has had six children and he's the only boy out of all of them! That's alright though I love girls :D = |

| Answer: I knew I wanted to name her Elizabeth, it just came to me one day. I asked my fiance if he liked it and he said yes... so I was like good because even if you didn't like it that HAS to be her name haha. I thought it sounded very elegant, a good, royal and classy name for when she is older... But it doesn't really sound like a child's name, so for a nickname I decided that Ellie was the most adorable kid's name in the world and Ellie is short for Elizabeth so it's a win win! Ellie rae also sounds cute :) It took me a while to think of Rae, I actually picked it out because of the song "You are my sunshine." I constantly sing that song for some reason... It's like my way weird of telling someone I love them. So obviously when I found out I was pregnant I would ALWAYS sing it to her (still do)... So I was thinking of a ray of sunshine. | Answer: I went to get my routine NST and amniotic fluids tests today, the nurse doing the tests looked at my stomach and said "I really don't think she's as small as they think she is..." and I asked her why and she said "well, the only reason your stomach is so small is because you are wide at the hips, you're very skinny, you have a strong abdomen, and you're just young." So, I'm hoping she's right! During the ultrasound I had a "real" contraction... She told me that could go on for a few weeks without actually going into labor.. but I'm hoping it's a sign that I'm gonna be going soon :D = |

| Answer: Well since I wasn't in labor no it wasn't painful... it was just uncomfortable. There was a student nurse there following my nurse around, and it was weird because she kept wanting to grab my belly... so when I had a contraction I mentioned to my nurse that I thought it was a real one... and the student nurse was like pushing down on it saying "Whoa it's rock solid!!" | Answer: I think she's just a preggo lover, that's probably why she decided to get a nursing degree in that field. About the brown discharge, is it still there or has it gone away? Before I got pregnant I used to get brown discharge right before I started my period, or right after I ended it. It would last a while though, then be replaced with the average blood. Are you expecting your period soon? If you don't get your period in the next week or so it might have been implantation bleeding. = |

| Answer: I'm getting REALLY close... Today at lunch I thought I was in labor haha. I had the most unbelievably painful contraction and it lasted a good ten minutes at least. I was like screaming and everyone in the restaurant was staring at me. I was like "I HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!!" but then I stood up and it went away... | Answer: Oooohhhh, yaay. I'll try not to get my hopes up incase my body just lets me down haha but I kinda hope that I am. It's weird cos since I've woken up I feel really queasy and sick.. Implantation bleeding can happen from anywhere between a day or two right up to a week or so as far as I know.. but I could be wrong.. every woman is different. Lyrah I haven't had any more super painful contractions but I do often get light period like cramps...nothing too awful. Don't tell my doctor but I stopped taking my medication a few days early to try and get a head start :D Sometimes I think ohh I'm going to go into labor soon! Then other times I'm like Goddd I'm gonna be pregnant forever haha. I'm pretty disabled right now, last night I was baby sitting my nephew and I had to call for back up because I couldn't carry him up the stairs, which is where the nursery, bathroom (bath tub), and all the diaper changing supplies are, and I couldn't pay with him because it takes a lot of bending to play with him and poor Ellie was getting smooshed, and poor me was getting a broken back! I don't know why I thought I'd be okay to babysit... I can't even get out of the car by myself haha. = |

| Answer: nope the bleeding stopped yesterday sometime i bled for a tatal of 22hours (well not bleeding lol) um i have sore boobs but i usually have that and my belly is very blated and been having a few cramps! I DEFO think this is the month!! fingers crossed = |

| Answer: i dont know ifitsto early for you to be experiance symtoms as i dont know how many dpo you are ect i was only 6dpo when i started experiance implantation bleeding, everyone is different hun, im ok to day im 8dpo and have docs tomorrow 4 a pregnancy test i wanted a blod test cos a pee test wont show up yet so when it comes out neagtive im guna tell them i tested and got a positive so then they will do a blood test as i also told them im late lol! when af isnt due for another 6days lol = |
