So Im on the pill and last month I kind of messed up on the pill and started my period early then my husband and I had sex and I really wasn't taking the pill at that time. So I renewed my prescription for my bc and now Im scared to take it cause what if Im pregnant? Do you think that I could take a pregnancy test and find out? Is it to soon to do so? ↓
From what I have read, there is little risk to the fetus if you are taking the pill for the first little bit. Of course, it's probably not recommended, but the pill is very different now than it used to be. When I found out I was pregnant with my second dd, I was still on the pill. She was one of those .1% lol. If you're REALLY concerned, I would abstain from intercourse (or use condoms) until your period is due. If it doesn't come, test than! If it does come, start back up on b/c!! ↑
