It is possible I would call the hospital and maybe go to the er if you are really scared

Usually brown discharge is just old blood, so that probably means the spotting is done and your body is expelling the old blood. I would still call your doctor when you can, but I dont think a trip to the ER is necessary, unless you're full on bleeding with severe pain.

I had the same thing when i was 7 1/2 weeks, it was only when I wiped one night, but i freaked and called the dr, they said that was totally normal, it is only serious when it is period like blood, dark and heavy. light brown/pink is okay, my sister did for a couple days, and she was fine. I am fine now too, I am almost 10 weeks! Good Luck!

i called my doctors office today.. and he is on vacation,, should i go to a walk in clinic? or should i wait till next week at my next appointment..?

I would say (because my dr said) that if it has stopped, then you shouldn't worry about it. Doesn't your doctor have a nurse you could ask? That could be an option too, maybe another dr at the same office? They can't tell you that he's on vacation and not do anything to help you!

Unsure- There should be a doctor on-call in your doctors absence. They should call you tell you if they think you should be seen. I would call back and demand some information/attention.

Is there not a nurse that you can speak with?!?! I think that is really abnormal that they won't even talk to you about it. how long have you been spotting? Is it dark, red, brown, pink?
