Question: So, again, the other one got old. Anyways, how is everyone doing? -----Schar, how are you feeling? I hope you're doing better, and hopefully you'll concieve. With any luck, you still might have twins or more! -----Esmerelda, how are you? When are you going to start TTC again? I'm crossing my fingers for you! ----Mama4, I completely understand where you're coming from! I'm on CD24 and it's seeming to take forever! -----Babies, I can totally understand why you're nervous, but try to keep you thoughts positive. Check out the movie "The Secret: The Law Of Attraction." You'd like it. It's all about keeping your thoughts positive and happy as if you already have or know you'll have very shortly, whatever it is you desire and these thoughts attract those events to happening in your life.... Check it and don't worry! Everything will be fine if you think it will.------Bryandi, check out the movie I told Babies to check out. Seriously, just do it. :D Keep your thoughts positive. Being nervous or scared won't do anything productive or good, so just relax! Let loose and be happy. :D Keep your chin up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyways-,- about me. I'm on CD24 and anxious as all get out. I should get my period within a week. Could be a little more. Could be a little less. I'm not sure. Mine usually varied from 25-30 days. It's been soooo long since I've had a normal cycle (between breastfeeding and birth control) that I don't know what to expect! I just want to take my clomid but I can't yet! GRRR! ?

| Answer: I am doing pretty well. Still don't know my results yet. I am going to call today I think, just so I can relax a bit. I don't think I would worry so much except they tested for Toxoplasma, and I don't know if that will produce a different result for them.
Schar, I had a pretty good size cyct when I went in, but I get them every pregnancy anyway, and they hurt for a few weeks, and then ache as they leak out, it should be gone in a few weeks time. Just follow what your Dr. says. I really hope you get a babie soon! I think everyone who wants one this badly should be able to have one of their own.

Carolina we are really close in cycles. I have about another week and 2or 3 days til next AF. I can't wait either. I am waiting for the mail to come. Hopefully it will bring Clomid. | Answer: Well, I'm on CD26 today. Any day now. I've been kind of crampy and such but nothing yet. I wish it would hurry up and start. It's so funny though. I don't think I've ever been excited to GET a period. lol----------Schar, I'm glad the cyst isn't bothering you anymore! That's definitely a good thing! Maybe the clomid you DID take will help you when you start TTC soon!-------------Babies, I don't think they can tell. And toxoplasma is a parasite that is found in kitty litter, on cats, and in the soil. It's a parasite that can cause defects in unborn babies. So I doubt that test was done based on any suspicions. I think you're safe. :P---------------Mama, hopefully your pills come. Wasn't your sister sending some too, in addition to the ones you ordered, or did I read that somewhere else?-------Bryandi, I think I'm going to take it days 2-6 or 3-7. I'm really not sure. What do you think?------------------As far as what's going on with me. I only have a few days left until AF and I wish it would just hurry up and get here already! | Answer: Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am pretty new to this stuff. I ordered my clomid a few weeks ago. Then went to see my midwife for a yeast infection and we talked about how long we've been trying and she's going to prescribe it to me. I told her that i ordered some off the internet already so she's going to check it out and make sure that's what it is (I have heard horror stories that people receive pills that are not what they said they were). I was surprised I didn't get chewed out but she was ok with it as long as i take it to her when I get it. But anyways I am on cd18 with o'ing on cd15. We use the clear blue easy monitor and so far I really like it. Does anyone else use it? ~~Good luck to everyone and baby dust to all~~ = |

| Answer: Schar, great to hear that you are feeling better! Carolina, I would advise days 3-7, but a lot of people do 2-6 as well. I did 2-6 my first cycle and then 3-7 the second cycle (the one I got pg on). babies4us, I wouldn't worry about any of the tests. They won't even test for Clomid, and the toxoplasmosis is a routine test. If you have cats, just make sure that dh takes care of the litter box for you while you are pg. You should be fine. Lacey, welcome, and good luck. I have never used the clear blue easy before. So you are officially in the 2ww! Keep us posted! So ladies, I had my second sono today and baby measured right to the day 7w 6d! Heartrate was 150 and bean grew from 3mm to 14.6 mm in less than 2 weeks. I will be 8 weeks tomorrow. I am starting to feel more confident about this pregnancy! Good luck to the rest of you waiting to concieve or in the 2ww! Hopefully we see more twins on here. = |

Well ladies I couldn't wait any longer I tested this morning and got a faint + I went and did a blood test but they said it will be a few days then I went to the free clinic and she was so rude she said it was NEG I don't believe her so I got me another test and I will be taking it soon. | Answer: bigfamiliesrock, welcome back. I am soo sorry your mom is having a tough time. That must be hard on the family. Congratulations on your BFP. So many of us are pg right now! My body was definately playing tricks on me. Turns out I was pregnant after all. I must have gotten a couple of really sensitive tests that detected the very low hcg in my urine. It was really too early as I think I had just ovulated the day before or 2 days before. A week after I had given up I tested again because I was thinking about going out with some friends for drinks and the test was positive instantly. What a pleasant shock! Krissy, don't give up or get worked up yet. If your pg test was positive then you are pg. doctors refuse to acknowledge it until it gets to a certain level. Just give it time for the hcg to double and then I am sure they will confirm it for you. mama4 great news that you got your clomid. Now you and carolina just have to wait on AF. I hope she comes soon! = |
| Answer: Bryandi - I haven't talk to my dr. she just gave me the lab slip to get the blood test I will not know that result for 2 days. I did the hpt thismorning and it was a faint + then I did another one this afternoon and it was a faint + but at the free clinic it was neg I don't believe them. | Answer: Hi Ladies, I've been MIA for quite a while although I have been posting on the facebook group from time to time. Just wanted to share with you that I'm finally starting my clomid, yay! I'm taking 50mg cd2-6 and I'm on cd4 right now...... I did tons of research online trying to find what is the best cycle days and dosage to take if you already ovulate on your own. Well the cycle days don't seem to matter anywhere from cd1-5 or cd5-9 show about the same results but I did find one study that showed a higher pregnancy rate in the cd1-5 group and a reference to a European study that showed more follies in the cd2-6 group (but I never could find the actual study). So from this I tend to favor the earlier days but it probably doesn't matter much. As to the dosage I would NOT recommend going above 50mg. There are a few studies out there done on normally ovulating women and no matter what the dosage the women usually developed 2-3 mature follies, HOWEVER those taking the lower dosages had the best pregnancy rates. It seems that the higher dosages usually caused more side effects such as a thin uterine lining or hostile CM that make it harder to get pregnant...... Just thought I'd share that with you. | Answer: hey~~ krissy did u tests again or get your results back yet?... been thinking about you...carolina73 dont worry about your family... i understand ... we have 7 children and my mom is the only who knows i am preg... nobody has really ever said anything from our family but society in general doesnt seem to back big families.... as long as u can care for them its not anyones business... dont let them get you down....schar how r u feeeling w/ your cyst?... as for me i went and did my 2nd quant yest... it went up but didnt double... i go back monday for my 3rd... they said a sign of a rising quant and not doubling could be an ectopic pregnancy.... i still feel so preg but thats also a sign.... so i guess well see.. i also didnt realize til they told me yest and then i also read that taking an ovulation stimulant medication such as clomid can cause an ectopic pregnancy....
Who's at Risk for an Ectopic Pregnancy?
While any woman can have an ectopic pregnancy, the risk is highest for women who are over 35 and have had:
PID
a previous ectopic pregnancy
surgery on a fallopian tube
infertility problems or medication to stimulate ovulation

| Answer: Hi ladies. *Carolina, my family wasn't very excited either and have just now asked how I was doing(9 weeks and they've known for 4-5 of them). My mom wasn't even happy because hubby and I were fighting a lot at that time. Once I realized it was pg hormones, I could control them better and neither of us were as stressed. It will get better, but if it never gets to how you want it- who cares? You will have a baby that you've wanted and if they can't be happy for you it is their loss and they will be the one to be hurt by it in the long run. After my m/c I doubt my family will open up much until after the birth, but it is their loss that they don't get to emjoy the pregnancy. They will sure get to deal with the hormones! lol *bigfamilies*, My mom is in remission from breast cancer, I know how hard it is, and yours is much harder. Good luck with the pregnancy and I hope the dr is wrong! *schar, I hope the cyst is doing better. My cousin's wife had a cyst and she carried full term so don't give up home(she didn't know she had it either and only had one ovary), she even went on to have another baby 6 years later. * esmerald, I've never checked my temps, its more fun to just 'try' lol. *mama4, does af usually cause breast tenderness? It doesn't for me so that was a big sign to me that I was pg. How is everyone else doing? As for me, I'm 9w1day. I'm sleeping as much as possible~can't seem to stay awake all day~, breast tenderness has eased up some, feel sick at least 4 times a day, actually got sick this weekend. Slight headaches and very tired of going to the bathroom. I go to the doctor on May 20th to hear the heartbeat. Hubby is going this time! I bought a home monitor, but its either too early or I'm not looking in the right place. It says 3rd trimester, but I don't see why I can't hear it soon if the doctor can. Anyway, another trip to the restroom(I hate drinking water lol). Sorry to all those I missed. Good luck all! = |
| Answer: Well I'm doing well thanks to all those who asked. I went to the ob today and she said last weeks pain could have been the ovary twisting due to the size of the cyst 6cm in dimeter OMG!!!! anyway just tad bit of pain here and there we are going to monitor it I have an ultrasound on June 13 and hopefully it is smaller and I get pregnant I feel I have a good chance this month if I can just ovulate the clomid through me off and caused the cyst I will be on prescribed clomid if I do not get pg this cycle so at least I'll be monitored good luck all I am waiting to O! = |

| Answer: Well I have done some research today! We calld a pharmacy and they said it is Mexicos version of generic Clomid, but does the same thing! So now I am just waiting.DD is dieing for a baby sister! I can't wait. Carolina do you think you might be preggers? I know i am not we used condoms this month to make sure i didn't get preggers. We didn't want to have a light period and get a false neg and then take clomid and harm the baby SO we just took a break this month! But almost a new month! = |

Bigfamiliesrock - Well I tested again on cd 26 and I got another faint positive but on cd 27 & 28 I got BFN. The dr office called me today and my test results from cd 26 said Neg as well. AF is due on Monday I am on cd 29. I just don't feel like she is on her way like I normally would by now. I have notice some changes in my body like I am peeing a lot, I'm getting lower back pain and I am still getting the pain in my lower right side like when you are getting ready to ovulate. It is so funny that ttc means a new month doesn't start on the 1st, but when AF comes. I am getting really anxious. I only have a few days! It is cd 23! Do you think it would be a waste of money for me to take a hpt even though dh and I have used condoms?. I just don't want to start clomid and so how be preggo. We didn't have any accidents or anything just to be sure.. you never know. So what is your plan? You can't tell us you have a plan, but not tell us. THat is keep us in suspense=)! So what's the plan. | Answer: I only took clomid 1 day and it was cd 1 if I O before cd 23 then that means clomid doesn't need to be taken 5 days so it really depends what happens this cycle for me to say what I think. I am on cd 12 and have signs of ovulating so we'll see hopefully all is well good luck to u I'll keep u updated = |

But if you are planning to return to college it might be best to wait, but only you know if you are ready. | Answer: Carolina, that is perfectly natural. I started worrying a few weeks ago that maybe I shouldn't have gotten pregnant, that I should have been happy with just one child. I mean, what if something happened, what if I lost this one, what if, what if, what if. Finally I realized that it couldn't be undone and I was repeating the same pattern as I had with my dd. It didn't get me anywhere then, it wouldn't this time either. Enough of me, and back to you. My opinion is that you should either wait if you aren't ready or just try naturally. I believe that everyone will get pregnant when they are meant to. The stress of college and a pregnancy might be too much, it sure would for me! If you were that sure you wanted to be pg up until this point, I'd say its just the jitters and go ahead and try, clomid or not. I have a bad memory... where you using clomid to have twins? | Answer: Carolina honey, sounds like you need to make a choice, college or a baby. Cause honestly a new baby deserves your undivided attention and going to a college with a new little one is going to be incredibly stressful. And with the possiblity of 2 babies if you use clomid, geesh I couldn't even imagine trying to work, go to college and care for 2 new babies. I guess thats just my opinion hon. Only you know whats best for you. = |
| Answer: I think it was just the jitters. And I'm not worried about college/being pregnant. It will be fine. I'm amazing with academics. Honor roll, teachers pet, dean's list. The kid all the rest of the kids hate. lol. I started my clomid today. I took 50mg this morning (because of what happened to schar) and waited six hours and then took the second 50mg. I feel fine. I get tiny little pains in my uterine area, but that's it. They aren't even really pains, just discomforts. And my eyes are kind of sensitive. That's about it! I'm excited now. = |

Blood tests came back fine 2 weeks ago. Dr. didn't say a thing about it otherwise.
I go in on Wed to see if BB's are both still doing well. I will be 8 1/2 weeks.
I went through the HUGE OMG jitters once we found out we were expecting twins. I think it happens to all of us. But it was more so with this pregnancy. I am doing much better now, and am trying not to get too excited yet. A. because chance of both making it, especially with my history, will feel better about it past 20 weeks. AND B. both our parents, Hubby's and mine are going to freak. I do not know how supportive they will be. But, it was our decision and we are both happy with it. So...... I will know in 2 days if twins is still what we are looking at for now. I sure feel like it!!! LOL They put me on Dramomine to help with the nausia, but so far it doesn't seem to touch it. bllllllaaaaaa. I am counting weeks to be past it. about 4 to go I hope!

| Answer: Yeah, I was super nervous to start it, especially after what happened to schar. But all that I've experienced is mild pains (like i said, more discomforts than pains) in my uterine area, and increased sensitivity to light. It hasn't been bad for me at all. I am taking a LOT of supplements right now though. Calcium, iron-free multivitamin, evening primrose oil, folic acide, baby aspirin, cranberry extract, and of course my thyroid medicine, and clomid. I had so many I was forced to buy a pill organizer! = |
| Answer: I had a feeling I had a cyst when I didn't O but had so really obvious O pains so you may not know when your going to get a cyst then the next month u take the clomid u can cause the cyst to grow so be careful I was only on 50mg = |

| Answer: Krissy, I hate to tell you this but it sounds like you are misscarrying. Didn't you get a + hpt at home then a - at the drs? One of the horrible side effects of clomid is thinning out your uterine lining which increases the m/c risk. I would give your dr a call and tell them whats going on. I would also advise you take a break from the clomid this month to give your uterine lining a chance to build up again. One of the twin mommies on here got preggo on her clomid break, so you don't need to stop ttcing, the clomid from last month will still have an effect on your eggies but the more months you are on clomid or the higher the dose you take the more of a negative effect it has on your uterine lining. I have a doctor's appointment for Thursday. I will see if I can get in tomorrow. I will keep you posted. I've noticed this month with the clomid my o pains have been more intense, but not bad enough where I think anything is wrong and I've finally stopped getting hot flashes. I was nervous starting my first round of clomid too, even though I had been looking forward to it for months. If it happens it happens I'm trying not to take my temp but I did order some opk online so I will do that starting on cd 10 and that will be it since I didn't do clomid i don't need to do the robintussin so i. That must be fun remodleling your home. Make sure you get your rest I can't wait to hear your newest update. I did go to my family dr and I will go and see my gyn on june 3 which is my 40th birthday and go from there. I will let you know how that goes.

Today is cd 10 and I started taking robintussin but am I taking it too early and I also started doing the opk test strip I ordered them off the internet and I got a neg but I should be ovulating I think on cd 18 that is what i was last month I think and I haven't even started bding yet I don't want the pressure I'm just going to let it happen and try not to stress.
