I was on the patch for able a year and ended up getting pregnant which ended in a complete molar pregnancy in the beginning of April. I then swtiched to the pill. I was only on the pill for 3 months and stopped the beginning of August. I was just wondering about how long generally it took to get pregnant after the pill even though i was not on it for that long. Also, before taking any kind of BC, i had irregular AF. Do you think that that may come back because it was the bc that was regulating AF?

It seems to vary a lot for women -- some seem to be even more fertile right after coming off the pill and get pregnant within the first month, other it takes a bit longer than normal. Chances are that your periods will return to their irregular selves -- I know mine did even after 10 years on the pill. Still, having slightly irregular periods doesn't mean you can't get pregnant -- it just makes it hard to tell when would actually be the perfect time to have sex to try to conceive. It might take a few extra months or having sex more often, but irregular periods themselves do not stop you from getting pregnant. Good luck!
