I am expecting twins in Jan 2009. Not sure the exact date, as my OB is planning a c-section between 37 and 39 weeks.

I am extremely nauseated most of the time and totally EXHAUSTED! Also, everything bugs me. I cry at the drop of a hat, whereas before the pregnancy I rarely cried.

But despite all of this, I am sooo excited and feel so blessed. My husband and I have tried for almost 3 years to conceive. We had a miscarriage in Nov. of last year, so this is really exciting for us. We didn't use fertility drugs to get twins, it just happened.

Tell me about you!

Hello Smitch! I'm due on the 14th and I completely hear you about the tired!! I am so tired, ALL the time!. As for nausea, it's a 24 hour companion. I've been eating Preggy Pops like candy all day and they seem to help. I had a miscarriage in January at just shy of 11 weeks, so I completely understand the scared/blessed feeling that goes along with another pregnancy. These twins are IVF babies, and I'm still dealing with the emotional wreck caused by all the injectibles I'm doing. Done with those in 2 weeks though, so whoop!! We'll be getting the BUN test done at 11 weeks which is pretty exciting. It will be loooong ( I'm told that twins is an estimated 3 hour vaginal ultrasound!!yikes!!) but neat to see the babies in all their details.

Also... and I know it's none of my business, but why the scheduled c-section??!! I've gone out of my way ( including careful interview of OB's) to make sure these babies are a vaginal delivery unless it is a true emergency. Lucky for me, my OB is fine delivering breech, etc. So I should be good to go!

Mama-beans, congratulations to you too! The c-section is planned because I have an unusually small pelvic cavity. My doctor examined me and said there is no way for me to safely deliver twins vaginally. He is actually a very conservative doctor who doesn't jump to do c-sections unless totally necessary. I have every confidence in him. Btw, what is a BUN test? Hope all goes well with you and your little blessings.

:) I just sat down next to the computer and thought, will I be able to find someone on the internet who is in a similar situation to me who will understand the nature of my hormones? :)

Hi mama beans, i'm PG due beginning of Feb. i went for an early scan at 71/2 weeks and the ob said 'ok, there's one fetus' and I thought, that's an odd thing to say and then he said 'and there's the other one' - shocked isn't in it! :)
Is this your first pregnancy?

I am expecting twins on January 1st. I think that I finally got over the nausea... but I am so tired that I don't feel like I can function! I have also been getting bad leg cramps. I can only imagine how I am going to feel in a few months from now!

Can totally relate to that. Due on 3rd January (my birthday lol), but they will probably be here just before christmas. I have just changed OB because my last one said "It is not possible to have twins vaginally!!" so needless to say we wont be staying with him.... Where i am, there are only 2 or 3 OB who actually will deliver breech, but they cost an absolute fortune, so if they are breech then they are c-section :-(

How am I feeling - yucky. heartburn, nausea, tired, oh so very tired, crying (must be all those extra hormones running around the body) Doesn't help that I also have to run around after a 2 and 5 yo... Hopefully it will get better (I've been told in about 18 years !!!!)

Hi everyone. I just found out a week ago that I'm pregnant with twins. I'm not that far along and due in May. But i do have a question. I've been nauseous like crazy, tired, and starting to get hungry more often. They said my progesterone was high, which is good and that's one reason for all the nausea. However over the last two days I haven't been that nauseous. Should I be concerned? Or is it a come and go type deal? these will be my first babies ever.
Thanks so much!

Hello Ladies,

I was just wondering if any of you were pregnant with twins from Clomid?
